I didn't want to write this review but I had to. I'm very disappointed and upset because I went in for a simple wash & blowout and Milly suggested I needed a trim. I told her to do it but to not cut off too much. Just clip the dead ends. She got scissor happy and cut my hair into choppy layers that I didn't want nor did I ask for!!! The back of my hair is now shorter than the rest of my hair and even on the sides too. I'm so angry and upset everytime I look at my hair. When a client tells you to trim their ends, please respect the client and just do what they ask for. Not because you're the hairdresser means you get to do what you want with a different hairstyle. They're good with straightening your hair and are friendly but I'm upset by this cut. Her response was: "You needed it." I'm a loyal customer whenever I go to places and unfortunately I will not come back because of this.

I went on a whim and very last minute for a blowout. Millie was very good and mentioned a few things about my hair being uneven and then showed me where. Wow, she was right. I asked her to even my cut, which she did and then blew out my hair. Best hair cut and awesome blowout! I also appreciated her advice! I’ve been wanting to try keratin but she advised against it because my hair isn’t textured and she said it’s too strong for me to try keratin. I also have fine hair, although lots of it but it’s baby fine, which makes it so frizzy! She gave me great options to just smooth my frizzy hair. Lots of treatments and good products! I’ll return to see her again. I think she can probably do wonders for me and also heal my damage from lightening my hair. I trust her opinions! I also asked her about lash extensions and she was like, “girl no…” and then explained about the reaction to glue that some people have, etc. I appreciate the honesty!

Millys is amazing! She’s knows hair, all types of hair. She cares about the health of your hair and loves what she does. Every time Milly does my hair is perfect and healthy. I also take two other family members to Milly who have completely different hair and it always comes out beautiful.

It’s been 3 months since I started doing my hair with Milly and my hair is looking healthy and the growth is amazing. She is very knowledgeable and doesn’t fry your hair like a lot of other Dominican hair dressers do. I really like her service and she’s my go to hair lady now.

Milly is a great hairstylist! She colors the hair roots an hair in a unique way. Additionally, the haircut is well done.No complain about the way Milly changes the hair style. This is a very friendly environment. All the ladies who work with her are very nice and dedicated.

Scammer and she cut my hair terribly if I could give 0 stars I would. Was also at least 2hours late every single appointment, I was late to many planned events because of the stylist. I was the first one to get there and last one to leave at times

Lack time management everytime for me. This time my girl arrives at 9:30 am by appointment, but walk in at 10am to be there for 8 .5 hours for Botox, which should take max 4 hours long. I know how long Botox takes because I have it in my hair.The crowd came after my child arrived and most left before my child. Also, my daughter had a hair trim without permission from an adult and charged me an additional $25. Very unacceptable.. Never again on my watch.

I RARELY EVER WRITE REVIEWS BUT THIS SALON I HAD TO HENSE THE ALL CAPS! From the moment I walked in I was greeted and made feel welcome! The quality and intention to detail I really appreciated. The staff members are super helpful and friendly! They truly value quality over quantity here! I got my hair blown out and straightened. They finished my hair in a timely manner and I absolutely loved the results. This will definitely be my new home salon.

Been coming to Milly’s for over 15 years! She is very consistent and professional. She is constantly improving her craft though seminars and workshops abroad…therefore she is constantly learning new things. Prices are reasonable and she’s not money hungry. Really unprofessional. This woman said she’d meet me at 11 at the salon to do a blow-out, and never showed up, never contacted me back. Very sketchy - don’t do it. Waste of my time.
