I just saw on Instagram that this amazing business is turning 9 years old this month and let me tell you, they are aging like a fine wine! I have been a dedicated customer for 5 years now and have had wonderful experiences with multiple stylists! Sophie, salon owner, was the first stylist I met who helped me with hair that had been somewhat neglected during the busy months of my move to LA and revived every strand! Nichole has been my go-to for many years now and continues to wow me every time I see her. When in a pinch, I have booked with other very talented stylists and can go in to this beautiful salon with confidence knowing that I can trust whoever’s chair I get seated in. The hospitality, attention to detail, abilities of these artists, and the ethereal design of this establishment will keep you coming back! So make sure you book early!

As a male who doesn’t want a razor cut, I’ve hard a hard time finding a Solon that gives creative cuts for mid length hair. The. I found Ho8. Been coming to here for 8 mos now and Caitlyn has it all on point. The best place and stylist in LA.

Earlier this year I finally got the guts to make a change with my hair and decided to go with a fun color that would not be too drastic of a change. My hair stylist Nikkie did an amazing job and even now that my hair is growing out it still looks seamless. I would recommend Nikkie to anyone who is looking for a hairstylist they can trust. I definitely left The Hair Parlor on 8th with new found confidence and as a very happy client! :)

I absolutely love Nicole! I found this place randomly when I needed an extension moveup. The salon is adorable and Nicole is not only so sweet, but she's exactly what I needed. I have locket extensions and she makes my hair look amazing every time. I love the way she cuts my hair too. If you're looking for a salon, ask for Nicole. You won't regret it!

I get my hair colored with Caitlyn and absolutely love it. I went in with a brief of the Rosie Huntington-style natural blond look, with lightening around the face. She made me look super natural, and three months later my hair still looks amazing. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to Andrew since 2019 and I can most honestly say that he is one of the most talented hair stylist I have ever been to. I tried going to different places and I always come back to Andrew. He is incredible. Has given me the best balayages and he doesn’t burn my hair. He is realistic with expectations and always always always has the best care for his clients. Not only is he funny and a great friend/person to chat with but I am serious when I say that his work lasts extremely long and it looks well even when I let my hair grow out. The balayage still looks like a beautiful ombré after time of not going for a session. I am excited to see him again this coming season.

I have been going to the Hair Parlor on 8th for several years now and have never been disappointed! First of all, the salon is gorgeous - open, airy and modern, with gorgeous light. The front staff is always kind and efficient. My stylist Andrew is the best! I mostly go to him for color where he's lightened my dark tresses to J. Lo inspired color. I couldn't be happier and I'm probably a client for life. Go to Hair on 8th - you won't be disappointed!

I love this place—everyone is super friendly and I’ve been coming here since last year to see Sara for both hair cuts and coloring. I just got another hair cut with her last night and so many of my friends have given high praise on the new hairstyle. Definitely recommend booking your next appointment here!!

I went to the Hair Parlor on 8th and saw Nicole there and she gave me the hair transformation that I needed! I went in with an idea of what I wanted and Nicole brought it to life. Her consultation was great, she asked me a bunch of questions about my hair history which I’ve never had before. I would 100% come back and see Nicole again!

Ive been going to the hair parlor on 8th for about 6 years and if it were possible to give more than 5 stars i would! Andrew and the entire team are exceptional at their job and i always leave with exactly what i want and the best hair! If youre looking for a new salon i recommend calling and getting in with Andrew or anyone from the team tbh!

I’ve been going to The Hair Parlor on 8th for 7/8 years now and it is without a doubt the best salon I’ve ever been to, quality-wise and price-wise. You can never go wrong with any of the stylists there, they’re all extremely knowledgeable and talented and truly want the best for your healthy hair goals. I’ve gone here for hair extensions, keratin treatment, hair color, and hair cuts and have not been disappointed once. Literally can’t find a single fault with this salon. You’d be a fool to go somehow here else!

Never before have I been a regular at any establishment until I started coming to this hair parlor in 2018. With the help and patience of Andrew, I've been able to grow my hair out from a bleached, box-color mess... into a beautiful, long and healthy head of platinum blonde hair. Always grateful for his advice and always look forward to my next appointment!

Stylist Sara is a blessing!! I have gone to her more than three times and will continue to! She listens to my vision of my hair and helps ease my anxieties because anything hair related makes me nervous! I feel supported and always happy with my hair and style after. It is such a plus that champagne is offered and lattes! Last little note is - Sara is style and beauty in human form herself! book with her! You will be so happy afterwards <3

The Parlor on 8th Street is located in a great location off La Brea with local restaurants and shops. As a concierge, I have had the opportunity to experience many of the top salons around Los Angeles. The Parlor on 8th Street is by far my favorite. My stylist Mina has cut and colored my hair on separate occasions, and the outcome exceeded my expectations! She is kind, extremely talented and collaborative. I have curly hair and she knew exactly how to cut it. It has never looked better! She also touched up my highlights and can blow out hair extremely well and quickly! The salon owner Sophie is nurturing and clearly runs a great operation where every employee is supported and is happy to be there. I highly recommend this salon!

I tell people how lucky I am that I found this asking. Nicole is truly amazing and so talented. I have very thick curly hair and she is the only person that gives me a blowout to the root! If I could give them ten stars I would.
