As someone who's heard horror stories of bleaching and hair coloring experiences, I was incredibly nervous walking in to a brand new place. I'm so glad I found this shop. Louis is an artist when it comes to hair. From answering all my questions each time I go, to making suggestions that turn out amazing when I walk in with no clue as to what I want, I walk out of this place feeling fantastic every single time.

During Christmas vacation I came to New York, I get my hair done here. The staff are all very easy to get along with, and KD, who help me, also taught me how to take care of it afterwards.If next time I come to New York, I'll definitely choose them again!

I haven't dyed my hair for so long because of previous bad experiences. But I really liked Tina's hair color, I asked her to do my hair the same color. She was very patient and gentle with me, very easy to talk to. She doesn't stress me out like other hairstylists do. I love my new hair color!!! I will definitely come back to dye my hair again in the future.

I used to come here for my haircuts but I’ve stopped coming here ever since my experience with Tina. The seat and overall station was so dirty. The cape that she used to cover me was full of hair. The tools were also super dirty and during my haircut, Tina was aggressively patting a hairbrush that she was going to use on my hair right in front of me and a bunch of dust, hair, and god knows what starts coming out. The haircut itself turned out good but for the price, I would expect better cleanliness. If you get a different stylist, it might be better but I would not be coming back again.

I’ve been seeing Tina for almost 2 years now, she takes my dark brown hair to my perfect shade of blonde. She puts a lot of care into the process and is so considerate and careful to ensure that we do not damage my hair which I really appreciate. She is my go-to in NYC!

The place is where I have got my hair cuts or perm for almost 3 years. Tina, who is my stylist, is always supportive and kind during my visits. I have thin and soft hair and I don’t ever want a new one to deal with my hair. Highly recommended for anyone with similar thin and soft hair.

This is my go-to Salon in Manhattan after I relocated to NYC. Tina is always my top choice and she is the best hairstylist. I have been going to her for a clean & stylish haircut for the past 3 years. She always listens to my requests and makes me surprised about the result. Sometimes Tina even recommends I try new hairstyles that I didn’t realize were a good fit. I always get a lot of compliments from my friends and family after every haircut visit.

Tina is the best stylist ever, I have been seeing Tina for a few years now, I would come in for a root touch up and haircut regularly. Tina is always responsive, does exactly what I ask for, never pushy for unnecessary procedures, and always does an excellent job. The salon is always clean and the staff is always friendly. I will continue to see Tina as long as she still works at this salon.

I have my hair done by Kazuki! I had all Virginia black hair and was looking for a major change in my hair color. I wanted to go super blonde but not white or silver tone, Kauzki went through some available options and we picked this color, it turned out super pretty! This took almost 5 hours so if anyone who is getting something like this you gotta be patient. I love my hair!

Tina has been cutting & styling my hair for over two years, following the end of my pandemic-induced home-haircut era. She is a true artist, an engaging conversationalist, and a caring person; I always look forward to my haircuts with Tina, and I consistently leave them feeling refreshed and polished. I appreciate that Tina takes the time to make sure my hair is just right before I leave--she does not rush--despite her busy appointment schedule. For a high-quality men's haircut done largely by hand, with limited use of electric tools, I am very happy with the value for the price, all the more so because pre-haircut & post-haircut shampoo service is included as standard (with appreciated vigorous scalp massage accompanying the former, too). Though the salon's relatively new home may not be as grand as its former location, it is pleasant & functional, with whimsical pastel-purple walls. More important, across the former & current locations, I have found the staff to be cheerful & kind and dedicated to their craft. In short, I feel fortunate to have found Tina as my hairstylist, and I intend to continue to make the trip from uptown to Chinatown to see her for many years to come.

Very good service. I always book appointment with Tina. My friend introduce me to her and she always cut my hair the way I like. The haircut was modern, she is fast and very precise. The salon is modern, stylish and all the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended.
