The hairdresser Mr. Sam, who was recommended by a friend, has great skills and very friendly service. The only downside is that there are too many loyal customers and the waiting time is a bit long.

This salon is pretty clean. Staffs are friendly, I love to go there for my favorite hair stylist Mr. Sam. He’s professional and patient with me all times. He gives me suggestions and spend good time on my hair all time, very good price with good service, definitely worth of the money. I have been using him for years and referral all my friends to him. I loved my newly hair color just done last week, hair came out very smooth and silky.

Henry cut, permed and colored my hair. The new styles look is beautiful and the color is gorgeous!!! I really love it. This is the best salon and I had a great experience. The prices can't be beat! I will definitely be back!

I had my hair done for balayage high light in 3D hair salon which my friend referred me to go they did a very professional job with patience, helping me till late after business hour.l left the salon with my pretty hair color and happy face

Giving one star to the hair washer because she was great by including a scalp massage with the wash. The cut service was terrible. We asked for the best stylist they have but ended up getting someone who is clearly a trainee. He doesn’t seem to know what he’s doing nor did anyone try to help him even when he asked and cared more about keeping his pants clean. Every time he cut some hair, he would brush off his pants. Didn’t request anything and gave him freedom to cut as he saw fit for my face shape. Kept asking me for approval after every few cuts - is this okay? As if I can tell how something looks from behind. The senior stylist said he saw nothing wrong despite it being all choppy and uneven - see photos. Asked them to fix it and was responded with “what do you want to be fixed” and being told that I don’t understand how to cut hair. Then being told to cut it myself to show them how I want it done. Waste of time and money.

Best haircut I’ve gotten! The place is so clean and welcoming. The scalp message during washing was so incredibly relaxing. I unfortunately did not catch my stylists name but he was fantastic! Did exactly what I asked for after I showed him an inspo pic and took his time making sure my hair was styled nicely!! My hair is also really damaged from prior color but whatever shampoo they used worked wonders, my hair is super smooth and silky now! Was an excellent experience and the price cannot be beat! I will definitely return!

Holy macaroni if I could give this place -100000 stars I would. I have very healthy hair (I never put heat on it really, partially because I am so lazy) but thought it would be nice to have my head washed. The washing part was great! The woman went to town scrubbing my head but then they passed me over to an older man whose brushes and equipment were ANCIENT and looked disgusting. Like had one bristle on the brush. He didn’t bother brushing my hair out and immediately went in with the hair dryer and absolutely COOKED my hair. He was holding the dryer directly on the round brush and I started to pull my head away because it was extremely painful and he hadn’t brushed my hair out so it was so tangled. I felt but ultimately ended up stopping him 75% in because I was so worried. It was very clear I was uncomfortable and at one point asked for a brush so I could brush my own hair out myself. He clearly did not read my body language or what was going on. My hair is crispy ever since.

I normally come here often, but this time i had a terrible experience. There was a new woman who was dying my hair, she got hair black hair dye all over my skin, in my ears, and in my eye. She was smiling and laughing from embarrasment saying "dont worry" which made me worry. She applied way too much black hair color to my hair and then forgot about me. The main guy who owns the salon was not keeping track of her or me, so i sat there until she got me and washed it out. She was struggling to wash all the hair dye out, and had to do multiple washes. She was laughing and saying sorry everytime she messed up, which shows she is not experienced. She proceeded to wipe the remaining black hair dye off my face with a random liquid that smelled bad and burned my skin. After I was waiting for my bangs to be cut, so i had my hair straightened by a young guy first. I have a lot of hair so the lady who dyed my hair stepped in and started straightening my hair from THE BOTTOM UP. I saw a bunch of split ends immediatley fall to the ground after falling out from the straightener being used wrong. I told her to stop helping him. The young guy straightening my hair always does a great job and is super careful about getting my hair straight. I was worried when he said he would be the one cutting my bangs as he seemed like he had no idea how to approach this. Finally the owner cut my bangs, and warned me that my forehead is too small for the bangs i want, and my curly hair will not go well with bangs. I appreciate the advise, but I know my hair and style it how i want and just simply wanted basic bangs which i have had numerous times and know how to maintain. All in all i will not be returning here, as I understand the prices are super low, but not low enough for the workers to not know what they are doing. I would not go here for anything difficult, but i see now they even struggle with simple requests. I think they thought i was high maintenance, but i am not and simply did not want my hair ruined, to fall out, and to have wonky bangs from people that didn't seem to have experience. I tipped everyone, and will not be returning.

Always had a good experience but this time the women who cut and styled my hair wasn’t very nice. I asked her several times if she would be straightening it and putting a curl and agreed. Then at the end left it puffy, unstyled and not straightened. I asked again and she seemed extremely annoyed and cut my hair very choppy

Best place to get your hair done! Henry has been my go to guy for dying my hair 4 times now! Never once has he fried my hair or not given me a beautiful color. Definitely a diamond in the rough!

Great place to have your hair colored and cut. Henry and Kim work as a team and to my surprise, even they are located in Chinatown, they truly knew how to treat my Scandinavian “thin” hair to always give me the best highlights and gorgeous shine. I have recommended this place to my friends over the years and they all love the results and keep going. Did I forget to mention, that this will not break your wallet either. Prices are excellent! Friendly staff, very clean place! Highly recommend 👩 ❤️

Henry has been cutting and coloring my hair for over a decade and will be forever my go-to spot. He’s great at balayage and follows what you want for a hair cut. I usually come in with a photo of what I’m looking for coloring and it comes out great. It’s also pretty reasonably priced.

Highly disappointed after being told they’d be able to achieve a certain curl pattern on my hair. Went in hoping to get tight bouncy small curls on my virgin hair — and came out with waves. What was most disappointing about it all, was the simple fact that the owner (who did not style my hair) said the curls could have been achieved if smaller-rollers would have been used. Why not do the perm yourself then? I just found it ludicrous that you’d have someone that knew little to nothing on curly perms and curly hair do my perm. Proceed with caution if ever coming here for a curly perm (or to style curly hair). This is not it, unfortunately.

I’ve a bit of mixed feelings about this place. On one hand, prices are cheap and technique is good. On the other hand, the hairdresser I had misunderstood my “Long in the front and short in the back” instructions, inverted it, and now I have a mullet. To be fair to her, it is a super well done, edgy look-y thing for what it is… but the fact that she just sort of went ahead and did it without confirming if she understood correctly is pretty disappointing. It was only $35 so relatively cheap too for the level of technique she put in, but god I wish she’d asked about it first. I'm only giving a 4 out of 5 for this cause I feel bad tanking a local business (again, with a hairdresser that did have really good technique!) but I'm also sort of wrecked by how awful and shaggy my hair looks. I'd spent a lot of effort figuring out how to color it myself (cause I knew I'd need multiple processes) and she just... chopped most of it off without even asking if it made any sense. (There were also no look books there; she also didn't even ask if I had any images to reference, when I had an old photo of myself to go after.)

The best!! My friend recommended this place for me and I was not disappointed. They are kind, friendly, and so talented!! I went in with dark brown hair and a little highlights on the ends. I wanted a totally new look and I love how it turned out and how healthy my hair feels. Thank you to andi, Henry and everyone over at 3D salon!

I came in for a hair coloring and paid a lot of money for a single color. They double processed the bleach when it was only needed to be bleached once and fried off half my hair at the back. I didn’t even realize until I got home because they didn’t even tell me. I even gave them tip which they did not deserve. I had to go to another salon to shave off the fried off pieces. The color is also so uneven as the top is brighter than the bottom when I wanted one full color. It could have been done toning the hair but they didn’t even tone it. The store obviously doesn’t know what they are doing and I wasted my money. Don’t come here. Professionally if they fried off my hair, they should at least tell me and fix it. Ridiculous.

I had really bad Post Halloween DIY red hair. And Henry fixed it! It’s almost magical and now I have super nice platinum blonde. I’m so excited!!!! Just ask Henry to fix your problem.

I show them a photo of Joey and ask for the cut for my kid and it turn out better than photo for my kid , the stylist did take his time and did the layer in perfection ! He even curl her hair without me asking ! I paid les than half of price comparing to my normal cut in my area uptown!
