Dawn has owned this quaint beauty salon, for close to 20 years. She's such a nice lady. My mother has had her hair done here for years. Her hair dresser, Connie is such a sweetheart. Its no wonder at all that this place has stayed in business so long with a consistent clientele. Its well deserved. Nice to know good customer service still exists

I needed a very last-minute haircut and messaged 50th Ave Salon, thinking it would be unlikely anyone was available. A few minutes later, Coco (I hope I'm spelling that right!) called to say they could accommodate me. Coco did a deep conditioning treatment and gave me a nice cut and blow dry. Much more affordable and down-to-earth than other salons I've experienced. I would definitely go back!

Rebecca really took care of me. She got what I was looking for, gave me ideas, options, and suggestions when I asked for them, which I really appreciated. She was also flexible and willing to change course as we went along. Last, the price was right. [UPDATE] Rebecca no longer cuts hair there, but Shelby has been taking care of me there for the last 3 years or so. I couldn't be happier. She's amazing. Super talented, and I'm really grateful to have found her.

Shelby is beyond amazing! She did an incredible job on my highlights and cut! I’ve been getting my hair done for 20+ years and Shelby surpasses all stylists. She is very meticulous and just a fun person to chat with. She charges half or less of what others cost so my only feedback is for her to up her prices. She’s a very experienced and gifted stylist!

I am soooo happy I found Molly! She is so easy to talk to and really listens to my hair goals. I get comments all the time on how great my hair looks and feels! Molly does an amazing job blending my baby highlights in with my natural hair color (which is dirty blonde/light brown) and tones it with the perfect icy cool colors! I always tell her the ashier the better and she has found and created the best formula for my hair! She also uses Olaplex to keep my hair in a healthy condition when lighting. I’m an icy queen! Thank you Molly for always delivering the goods!

I love this salon. My family has had haircuts and manicures from multiple practitioners and it is always a great experience. Today was no exception. They fit my son in last minute to get a specific hairstyle he wanted for his school pictures. Colleen cut his hair and did a phenomenal job achieving the look he was going for. I really appreciated the care she took in getting his hair just right. He left the salon beaming and full of confidence. We have also had great haircuts from Shelby and Dawn. Maggie gave my mother-in-law a five star manicure when she was visiting. I look forward to future nail treatments from Maggie. The salon also has a fabulous massage therapist, Erin. And all sorts of local art and jewelry. One of my favorite pairs of earrings are from their boutique. I highly recommend visiting this business. Good people and good service.

Between her therapeutic technique and her personalized approach, I know I'm in good hands. It's a whole mind, body, soul thing and I'm so grateful for the referral from a friend all those years ago!

I walked in with a project: Go from black box dye to light blonde with minimal damage. Shelby was able to lift my hair to a light golden blonde, which is way lighter than I thought would be possible! It looks so pretty! and the best part is my hair still feels so healthy and soft. Even the price for the service was very reasonable! I am so glad I chose 50th avenue Salon.

It was nice and they were great. I took my 6yr old in for his 1st hair cut ever! They were a friendly place to go and the people who work there is like a big family. They knew everyone who came in by name do they must be regular customers which is nice to see. My son is autistic and he usually freaks out about anything that has to do with touching his head, and he just sat there and had no problem at all letting s lady he didn't know cut his hair, and it was long and curly and pretty much had dreadlocks because he wouldn't let me brush his hair any more so it was time! It turned out great and he loved it and it only cost 20.00 for his hair cut.
