I highly recommend 5Th Ave hair studio! Super professional team is always ready to do the best. Nina does best color and cut ! She listens carefully to you and does her work accordingly. Never been happier. She has done my hair for few years now from brunette to light blonde and never failed.

I highly recommend Nina and 5th Ave Hair Studio! Even though I often call at the last minute, Nina always finds a way to fit me in and accommodate my schedule. I love the look of the salon and the comfortable chairs, there's a calming atmosphere. Nina really listens and always gives me good advice which so far has been right on. She is fast and amazing to watch as she cuts, a real artist. Give this salon a try!

I have been going to 5th Ave Hair Studio for years now as it is the only hair salon I trust to do an amazing job each and every single time. I have very curly hair that is very difficult to deal with and had multiple bad experiences with hair salons in the past not understanding how to handle my hair and not even following what I wanted. Once I came across 5th Ave Hair Studio, I never looked back. Nina is literally the best, she is the only person I trust with my hair and she knows exactly how to cut it and style it and I always leave feeling very beautiful and confident. She listens to her clients’ requests and really takes her time with your hair to make sure it comes out exactly how you want and even better than you envisioned!! She and her staff are all so sweet and make you feel so comfortable and welcome. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a relaxing and pleasant experience. I highly recommend coming to this hair salon!

Nina, the creator of 5th Avenue Hair Studio, is a true artist. She has been highlighting, cutting & styling my hair for over 20 years now. We have both moved since we met, but I travel over 5 hours to see her………she is that special ! Her highlighting skills are exceptional and her cuts and blow drying techniques are outstanding. She is a warm lovely person who listens to what I want and always delivers. I highly recommend her services and promise you will be happy too, when you go to see her at her salon !

The salon and the people who worked there were lovely. I went to see my stylist who previously worked for Pilo Arts Salon, whose name is Victoria, and I was so very disappointed. I went to see Victoria for highlights, and I mentioned to her that I wasn't happy with the style that another hairdresser gave me and I asked her if she can fix the front for me, as the front layers were too long and didn't have any shape to it. She said she can fix it. I have curly hair, and I asked her numerous times if she's sure she can fix it or shall I just let it grow more and come back. She said not to worry, she fully understood what I needed done and she will fix it. I even showed her pictures of hair styles that she herself did from her Instagram page, and I showed her pictures of my hair when it was layered in the front the way that I liked it, just to make sure we were on the same page. She assured me she understood and gave me a high 5. She said that her daughter has curly hair and she understands curly hair. She said she will keep the length and make sure everything connects. She did just the opposite. I cannot tell you what a horrible job she did on my hair. She gave me a whole new, full fledged hair CUT, which was not what I asked her for. I asked her ONLY to fix the front. She gave me the most horrible style I have ever had in my life. My curly hair is now shoulder length so there is no room to fix it. She made one side longer than the other. My layers are not blending in at all. While she was cutting my hair, I felt that she was not confident in what she was doing. She just kept cutting and cutting and cutting and talking and talking about her family and asking me personal questions about mine, and I think she got so caught up with making conversation that she just kept cutting. I wouldn't have minded if it was short but the haircut was good and it would have grown out nicely, but this haircut is atrocious. I am so depressed over it. I lost all my confidence and cant even leave the house since because I'm so embarrased. I texted her about my hair and sent her pictures of what my hair looked like, and instead of apologizing right away or asking me to come back so she can fix it, she told me in the text that I don't need to "offend" her. This was such a horrible experience with her. I went to her because she has 20 yrs experience, but she did not cut my hair like an experienced hairdresser would.. I realize that an apology will not make my hair grow faster, nor would it have fixed this horrible hair cut that I will have to live with and look at for the next year or so (it's that bad and that short), but if she was just a little bit more sympathetic towards my feelings instead of caring so much about me "offending" her work, maybe I would have understood that we are all human and we all make mistakes. This was just a terrible experience with victoria , who i expected more from as far as the style she gave me and the way that she handled this from a business stand point. She was so unprofessional through the whole process. So disappointing. I'm so sorry to the salon that this review is on your page. The salon and the people in this salon are wonderful. Terrible and disappointing experience with Victoria.

I’d like to thank Nina and her studio for a great experience with my haircut. I was worry a bit because simply chose this place almost blindly based on salon pictures and some reviews. Now I got a perfect haircut, which I have no problem with to style home. If you’re able to say what you want and master really listens, it’s 50% success. Nina is amazing, quick and very attentive. Thank you and your staff for such a great experience. Will come back again.

Nina is the best! I went in the salon with a full head of dark brown hair and walked out with a head full of golden hair! Not a thread of damage, so professional. She only uses high end hair product. A pleasure to be with! Love this salon!! But most of all love Nina!!

Nina is amazing as an artist and in explaining how to come back from the bad scene that resulted from pandemic DIY damage that I thought was irreparable. What a self esteem boost! THANK YOU! Patient, kind and took time to explain no hard sell at all she let me ask what I needed and wanted for my routine and I walked out a very happy customer. She saved as much of my damaged hair as she could and by some miracle saved a lot of it with a grey plan moving forwarded!

Years of bad color jobs left me jaded and untrusting of any stylist but in one session Nina and 5th Ave Hair Studio changed that completely. I always said if I found someone who could do my hair justice in color and cut I would never go to anyone else and I am so happy I have finally found it! Nina is a color wizard! She made my hair look completely natural and transformed it from the multiple colored bad "balayage" job I had before to gorgeous locks. 5 stars across the board!!!

I came to Nina at 5th Ave Hair Studio about 1.5 years ago looking for a total transformation in my hair. She delivered and then some - and has become a good friend as well. To put it simply, I’ve moved out of the neighborhood and I still come back just for her cuts. I’m like a different person since I started working with her and let her choose the direction for this cut. Would HIGHLY recommend!
