Megan is always the best!! She helps me so much with caring for my curly hair from the best cuts, to treatments that make my curls look 1000% better, and helping me figure out how best to style and care for my hair myself. She works with you to make a plan to address any problem you’re having with your hair. She also goes above and beyond to be so helpful (with makeup tips and skin care as well), accommodating, and welcoming in her space. I recommend her to all my friends of different hair types and styles, she does it all!

I've been going here for years and have always had an amazing experience. I've gotteny hair cut, vivid colors, and alternative hairstyles. Megan takes her time to ensure you leave with something you love and looks amazing on you. Her studio is an eclectic and relaxing atmosphere that makes me feel so comfortable. She's super accommodating to any needs and very hygienic. I can't recommend her enough. She so knowledgeable and always learning, truly she is in expert in her field.

Megan and I worked on a movie set together recently -- my role required 3 hours in hair and makeup due to all of the special fx work required since my character was a burn victim. Megan made the experience as pleasant as it possibly could be -- she's easily one of the best in the business. She did a fantastic job on the look that made heads turn and really brought the realness aesthetically to the scene. I'd highly recommend her and her business for any of your aesthetic/cosmetic needs whether big or small.

Megan does miracles with hair! I have never had my hair last color wise as long as i had since going to her. I drive 2 hrs everytime to see her and refuse to see anyone else. She is siper accomidating and will not lead you wrong when it comes to new things! Your hair and mental sanity will thank you for going to megan!!

You'd be an absolute fool to not go to Megan for all of your hair needs! I've been going to her for at least 15 years and we've been through it all - hair coloring, extensions, hair cuts, hair treatments - no one is more knowledgeable than she is! She asks the right questions to make sure she does exactly what you're envisioning and takes the time to explain everything she's doing. She goes down to the science on it all! You'll be mad you didn't find her sooner, but at least you found her now ❤️

Before I got my hair transformation here, I had not gone to a proper hair salon in YEARS (maybe 1 in a span of 5 years) With Megan’s help, I was able to get the shag haircut of my dreams and embrace my natural hair texture to a point where I didn’t even realize my hair could achieve. I’ve never looked forward to a haircut until now, and Megan educated me on all the products that work with my hair along with how to achieve desired results. I’ve followed numerous tutorials online, have tried a ton of products, but was never sure what really worked on my hair. Thanks to my visit, I now have a curly hair routine after ignoring my curls for essentially 2+ decades! So excited to embrace this journey, and never have felt so confident until now!

I have curly hair and am very particular about my haircuts. After moving to Charlotte, I was searching for a stylist who truly listens to their clients' needs. Megan has exceeded my expectations both times I’ve visited her. She is incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and has a talent for bringing your vision to life—which is so important, especially when paired with her attentive listening. On top of that, her pricing is very fair, especially for the curly hair market in Charlotte, where quality often comes at a premium. I highly recommend Megan to anyone with curly hair or anyone looking for an exceptional haircut!

I have been seeing Megan for a bit over a year right now for my haircuts. She is absolutely wonderful in every way possible. I was always super anxious cutting my hair, because in the past I have found a lot of hairstylists want you in and out of their chair, and don’t listen very well. Megan has always taken the time to listen to me despite me being extremely specific and picky. She is nice, always asks before taking off any hair, and will always give you any time needed to check out what she did and make sure everything is perfect. She also goes above and beyond at times, teaching me how to deal with my hair type. The atmosphere is extremely comfortable, cool, and very accepting no matter who you are and what you want. It’s also so nice to find someone in the charlotte area that specializes in a lot more “alternative” styles. I couldn’t recommend her enough, and i am very glad i have found this salon.

I always enjoy my time when I visit 6th Dimension for a cut or color. I have been to several stylists over the past 10 years but nobody comes close to Megan. Usually stylists just do whatever I ask without educating me on anything at all which has led to severe damage to my hair. The first time I stepped in the shop, Megan examined my scalp and we did a detox to figure out the root causes of my hair concerns. Megan also educated me on hard water and also recommended several great shampoos and options for color. If you are looking for vivid colors, I highly recommend— she does amazing things! But also if you have hair concerns that you can’t figure out or are unsure of where to go next in your hair journey— she is THE BEST in Charlotte. She has years of experience and is so knowledgeable. She is also honest which I appreciate in a stylist. She wants the best for you and your hair. Book with her now!

Her and her crew are a “can-all” kind of team with no expense spared on quality. The environment is welcoming and the vibes are wonderful. Absolutely amazing salon. Cares about you as an individual and not as just a paying client. Megan's skills are top level. Flexible with changes, great conversationalist and always willing to recommend tips for upkeep beyond just the salon. I drive an hour and a half because she's the only person me or my fiancee trust with our hair.

The place was clean, welcoming, comfortable, and the music selection was great. Megan was fantastic to work with, pleasant to engage with, and very knowledgeable about her craft. As a guy with long hair, I don't get cuts often, and she made sure I got what I needed and did an excellent job. I'll definitely be back and recommending 6th Dimension to other people.

Megan has been taking care of my hair for years, both cutting and coloring, and always does an amazing job. She’s taken me from dark, to red, to dark again with some vivid mixed in and is always very upfront with expectations and what it will take to get you what you want. Megan went above & beyond what I was expecting from a haircut. In addition to an awesome cut, she asked about my hair care routine and made some suggestions that have led to some truly dramatic results- my hair is so much nicer even now a couple of weeks after my appointment thanks to these changes. There was no judgement whatsoever and she answered all of my many questions with nothing but kindness and clear professional knowledge. I'd recommend her to anyone.

My husband and I have been having Megan cut and dye our hair exclusively for over the last decade. She has always been professional, clear about what to expect as far as timing and the prices of her services. She makes it her goal to get you how you want your hair look be but if it's not gonna ever happen, she's frank about it and I love her all the more for it. She rather you have your hair than take your money on a lie. She has always provided excellent results as well as knowledge about current techniques and trends. My hair has thrived in her hands and yours will too.
