Alex is great!!! I was going to another hairdresser for 20 years, but after the pandemic, the salon closed and my hairdresser left the city. So I did some googling for hairdressers in my neighborhood and customers were raving about Alex. That was a year ago and many haircuts and color treatments since. I am always happy when I leave Seventh Heaven Hair Salon! Plus Alex is super nice. Highly recommend!

7th Heaven is an extraordinary shop. The owner Alex cuts my hair for many years and I have left satisfied and he gives fire cuts. He has lots of knowledge with different types of hair and he knows how to connect with his clients. His friendly, kind, and happy attitude makes me want to go back every time.

He cut the left side shorter than the right side. I had to go back for him to fix it. Furthermore, my left sideburn was cut much shorter than the right sideburn, which I can fix. However, for whatever reason, he took so much width from the left sideburn such that it looks thinner than the right sideburn. So I have to wait for it to grow or shave off everything on both sides. He loves to talk talk talk, but he does not pay attention to what he is doing. Edit: First of all, you did acknowledge that the left side was shorter than the right side when I came back. Furthermore, you cannot tell me in your response "You can give me another chance for me to satisfy your haircut. You can come back for that." and then say "As I noticed you put one star review to all barbershops around the neighborhood is something wrong with you not the barbers" and simply mock me... If you had told me to just comeback then I might have. However, I will never come back since you mocked me. Good bye!

I asked for a cut of 2-3inches and he almost cut 10inches and give it no form at all. At the end he offered to blow air my hair but I cordially said no, then when he noticed I was not happy he said “it’s hair, it grows back” please if you are a person with long hair don’t let Alex cut your hair!!! Worst hair cut I have ever had in the city.

I had hoped that Elisabeth would be there when I popped in today, having read all of the reviews featuring her. Sure enough she got it right the first time. She knows how to work with how your hair grows, my hair looks great. A real find, a wonderful alternative to the very expensive salons dotting the neighborhood. Highly recommended.

Have been cutting my hair here for a while and refuse to go with anybody but Elizabeth. She is extremely patient and takes her time for the best quality results. Cannot speak to others who work here, but Elizabeth has kept my hair looking great!

I got my hair cut here and I could not have been happier with the end product. I had a vague idea of what I wanted but he talked me through the cut the whole time and we ended up with exactly what I wanted! A great, chill, local place that I highly recommend.

This has been my go-to hair salon for several years. Alex is my barber who is fantastic. He is always professional friendly & knows exactly how to cut my hair. The Salon is located not far from subway station. I highly recommend this salon!!

First time using this salon. I work at a restaurant next door and snuck out for a much needed fade. And needed it quick. The owner (forgot his name sorry) gave me a perfect barber style fade, friendly conversation. Going back 100%.

I have been going to Elisabeth for almost 30 years. She transforms me from the wilds of Maine to a proper city gent, suitable to be seen in public. It’s a sort of miracle. She has the hands of a surgeon and a warm professionalism. At an affordable price as well. I would be lost, and a bit frightening, without her.
