Marg did an amazing job at cutting my hair❤️ I came to cut my long hair that I had not cut short/in layers ever! So I was nervous but Marg was super helpful/comforting. She cut it short first to see what I thought and then cut the layers. 10/10 experience with her, she was so nice!

Revised review - businesses that reach out to correct human errors have my respect (everyone has a bad day). Am glad I decided to go back after a sub par 1st experience. I recommend going to Doc (and avoiding the other older gentleman, can't speak for the lady). Received one of the most detailed and careful haircuts. Doc took his time. One of the best haircuts I've had. Great value! You've won me over as a regular.

I don't know who these other idiots leaving bad reviews are, but this place is my go-to haircut spot. I have NEVER gotten bad service or a bad cut. I'd go so far as to say A Cut Above has given me the best haircuts I've ever gotten in my nearly 40 years.

It's essentially a great clips that you only go to for the location. Not too great, but if you don't have a car its probably one of the more affordable places to get a haircut.

Never get a hair cut from the old man there. He will destroy your hairs. Thank God Marge (female barber) was there to rescue my hairs otherwise it was a complete disaster. My suggestion: Better call beforehand and take an appointment with Marge.

Very reasonably priced (especially compared to the salon on campus), and staff is so friendly and skilled! I came in to trim my bangs, and she made sure that the length was perfect several times so that they were not too long or too short. I also requested that she cut my hair dry since it is very wavy and she did a great job, and my hair is pretty difficult for most professionals. Also cut my hair even though I got there a little before opening which was very kind. Will be returning!
