Still the best hair in Colchester (IMHO). The hubby and I have both been coming to this salon for many many years. Great haircuts, excellent customer service from the super friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

I’m afraid to get my hair cut anywhere else! I’ve had three haircuts here and every time, they’ve been perfect. The stylists here don’t just give you a one-size-fits all haircut. They tailor it to your hair type and hair pattern. They’ll give you a cut that’s versatile for wash-and-go or dolling up. This is the only place I would ever say, “surprise me!” Even better, there’s no bad stylist to book with here: they’re all excellent at what they do! I only wish they weren’t booked for months when I call, but that only proves how good they are. I’m grateful that we have a salon of this caliber in our a small town!

I've been to many hair salons, from high end hair cuts to cheap, and this is my favorite place as it has the best of both worlds. A high-quality cut for a low price! Plus they are gentle and give you the cut you want. It's a great place, please remember to tip! They deserve it :)

Have been getting my haircut here for years, usually by Allie, but sometimes by Sue or Chanelle if I'm doing a walk-in, they always do a great job and I'm always happy with my hair after. However I recently used them for my wedding and was very happy to learn they traveled for wedding services. Allie did hair and Chanelle did makeup for 5 of us. They arrived right on time, came with a ton of product, even finished early and we all looked great. My mother's hair can never hold a curl and even her hair looked great at the end of the night still. VERY happy with our experience and prices were extremely reasonable as well

I have very curly yet fine hair. Sue, the owner, is the ONLY one Ive let cut my hair since moving here 3 yrs ago. She knows EXACTLY how to cut unmanageable hair! Luv her!!

Very popular destination. Does appointments and walkins. But...because they are popular, makes your appointment well ahead of time or you may not get a day/time that you need. That said. They really do try to squeeze you in. Never had a bad haircut

It was my first time taking my son there the other day. First it took 15 minutes to make an apt. Then there were issues when it came time to make a payment! Not very good customer service don't think I'll be going back!

if you plan on going for just a haircut, this place is fine, I did get a very good cut (Allie). It was the hair color that was a problem. I discussed the coloring during my first (haircut only) appointment and I was told it would be 70 dollars. She didn't explain any details, just 70 dollars for a coloring. So for my next appointment i got color done. I was concerned with the outcome of the color, and the charge also $130! But there were people waiting, so I paid and left. I got home and no one could tell I had had my hair colored at all- it looked the same as it had before. There was still grey hair throughout- it looked like it *needed* to be colored immeadiatly. I called the place the next day and told them I was unhappy- could they fix it as soon as possible? 2 weeks later was as soon as possible. The owner, I think, talked with me this time before anything else was done, just to verify what I actually wanted- even though I brought the same photo with me both times. She then told me I had 2 choices, either pay an additional $45 for the more work needed, or go somewhere else for a correction of my color. I was stunned, but wanted it fixed. I felt like if I left at that point it would be like flushing $130 down the toilet- so I agreed. When I got home, my daughter said my color looked much better. When I told her what happened, she said- that is terrible customer service- you have to warn people with a review. So that's why I'm leaving this review. I think any salon worth anything wants return business by making sure their customers are happy. Miscommunications do happen, but make it right without adding insult to injury.
