I have been going to Kelda for more then 10 years every since I've been going she has been nothing but professional her place of business is very clean she is a God fearing women and I have never heard her cuss the braider in the building are also very professional I love her other hairdresser I read the one lady who gave a bad review I don't know what she is talking about but you can ask anyone who comes to A touch of Glory they will all agree but if anyone who don't believe me just pull up and you will see for yourself how hard those ladies and that building work I will suggest anyone to give them a try

As someone who utterly hates going to salons and getting their hair done I with pleasure, gladness, and eagerness get my hair braided , 2 strand twisted & straightened at this salon because the atmosphere and person doing my hair is EVERYTHING. The flexibility of scheduling makes it so I am never without a wanted appointment time and date. The owner provides a safe & pleasant atmosphere, which makes you want to return and tell others about it. Also, Cheryl is the stylist that does an AMAZING job straightening my hair from root to tip!

This is a nasty little establishment. Literally. Unsanitary and unprofessional. Stylists can be seen eating food in plain view of customers and do so even while dealing with clients’ hair. They have unruly kids running around like this is a romper room and other teenagers just walking around. Waiting customers are busy yakking to the stylists while they are working with a client in the chair. Loud and unprofessional and a disservice to those being served. The salon also has customers who themselves are eating food while under the dryer etc and while they are supposed to be receiving services. Stylists run late with appointments. They also double up appointments on clients without informing you. They have no idea about proper hygiene when it comes to washing hands between customers, their towels and tools are raggedy and filthy. I had hoped to help keep money in the black community and make a contribution to uplift black businesses. However, not at the expense of my personal health and safety. A stylist went psycho after I asked her to wash her hands and she had the audacity to tell me to wipe down a chair myself (which I most certainly didn’t). Really pathetic. Another time a stylist, after starting my appointment over two hours late, thought it ok to be taking personal phone calls and texting. Most recent during my FINAL visit, a stylist told me that she doesn’t want to wash her hands between touching one customer’s hair, and going to another, stated that I’m a ‘germaphobe’, had a problem with washing hair tools that, due to her clumsiness, repeatedly fall on the dirty ground where people walk around, and that she doesn’t see the need to sanitize the chairs for the dryer between customers. I literally had to tell this one to stop where she was with my hair so I could get up and get out of their squalor immediately. So that’s why their service industry will not attain beyond the survival level of existence. Ridiculous, nasty and never again. Won’t waste my cash at this place black-owned or not.
