Tenía muchas expectativas, pero me decepcioné de tan poco que pulieron mi cabello para que quedara como se supone. Tuve que terminar de arreglármelo en mi casa. El personal muy amable y atento, pero si eres nueva, dependerá de a quién te asignen para el arreglo del cabello.

DO NOT GO TO THIS HAIR SALON!!!!! I called on Sunday to get my hair done for a wedding and the lady told me to come on Tuesday (the day of the wedding) so I placed an appt and gave the receptionist all of my information. Just for today when I go in for my appt. No one spoke to me for the first 15 minutes of me standing there. When They finally acknowledged me, claim they dont see my appointment. I showed my call log from Sunday that I called. Then to make it worse. I go on the website and they said I could get my service for $35 cheaper on Groupon so I got the voucher. I walk in and they’re telling me they can’t do my hair because they no longer with Groupon. I ask them then why does Groupon have their hair salon with their address as well. They still refused to accommodate me. My frustration comes from me being punish because the owner failed to remove her deal of Groupon. To make it worse I don’t even see an option to cancel my voucher to get refunded. They’re super unprofessional. I drove a whole hour for absolutely nothing. Still can’t even do my hair until I get refunded. This hair salon is HORRIBLE!!!!!!

I don’t recommend this place . Owner is not polite. Although she is Dominican women , she doesn’t know how to cut wavy and curly hair. Also, some women who work there doesn’t have manners . I say good afternoon and they didn’t reply except they receptionist. I mean the lady’s were sitting on in the pink sofa waiting for clients to arrive . You will feel the horrible vibes as soon you sit there. I hope the owner pay more attention to the kind of women who work there over all the women who sit in the pink sofa waiting for their clients. Some of them like to critique the hair of their clients .What a horrible experience !please don’t go to this place!

I met rose through my best friends recommendation and let me tell you I love her! She’s absolutely wonderful and she’s AMAZING! Everytime I want a specific cut or color she gets it perfectly! If you’re thinking about going to her salon you def won’t regret it!

I was skeptical of going to a place without being recommended. Rose cut and blow dried my hair. She did a fantastic job! The staff is very friendly and the new place is great. Fully recommend it.

If you are going to change locations, it makes sense to call the client to confirm the appointment BEFORE their scheduled time not 30 minutes AFTER their appointment. You can’t expect someone who has been coming to your location for years to know you suddenly changed locations. I showed up to their old location 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment thinking I was at the right place. They called me 30 minutes after my appointment time, which I obviously missed, as I was getting my hair done at this new salon. They then told me I am unable to get a refund for the 50% deposit for the booking I made. You definitely lost a client that has been coming to you for years. Two different people showed up to the new location thinking it was the old one….. not everyone just suddenly knows you change locations. The girl then proceeded to tell me that the confirmation email said the address of the new location like if I’m going to check the address of a place I’ve been going to for years. It’s only $17.50 that could’ve been refunded, that’s not a big deal. When you know this mistake is bound to happen to many customers. A simple $17 refund is worth not losing a customer because now I just won’t go back.

I think it’s the third/fourth time I book an appointment with a specific person and later get taken care of by someone else. So what’s the purpose of making appointments. I’m writing this review because of the lack of customer service. I arrive to the salon, and it’s clear my hair dresser is over booked so while the receptionist washed my hair she calls a gentlemen and tells him if he can do my hair. No one ask me, or tells me. I had to question it. I think it would have been professional if the hair dresser would have apologized for the inconvenience since she was washing someone else’s hair right next to me, but she didn’t even look my way. I have very curly hair and was clearly there for a Dominican blow out. Although the gentlemen did not do a terrible job he clearly didn’t know how to blow dry my hair properly and I had to request he put some heat protection while flat ironing my hair. I’ve never experienced that before. In addition, he was encouraging me to cut my ends. So I agreed, told him to cut the tips and he said once my hair was completely straightened we would see how much more to cut. At the very moment he was done the receptionist told him some clients walked and in and there went the attention to my hair. He drenched my hair in some oil and said we were done. I asked him about cutting more and he said well You told me you didn’t want to cut anymore. It was clear he wanted to jump to the next customer and cared less about the outcome of my hair. I also didn’t push the hair cut because he seemed rushed. When it was time to pay they had the audacity to try and charge me $35 for a 2 min trim to my ends. Then she asked him how much “he would leave” the hair cut. As if he’s doing me a favor. I think I’ve given this place to many opportunities, and it’s not even worth it.

So I came to this salon because my hairdresser had an emergency and couldn't see me. I went by the reviews, I have really curly hair and from experience with a Dominican stylist I felt confident that they would know how to treat my hair. Everything was going great, Mari Carmen I believe was the name of my hairdresser. She was blow drying my hair and it was just so fast I was impressed how in less than one hour she cut my "tips" and blow dried my hair and even curled my tips a bit. It was strange because I've always lasted atleast two hours for a blow dry because my type of hair needs to be dried very very good or the humidity will ruin it. I left very happy and confident, on my way home I stopped at Walgreens and when I got in my car after Walgreens I looked in the mirror and I had my hair so frizzy, it wasn't raining it wasn't even that humid outside. By the time I got home this was all in about 30 minutes after leaving the salon, I had no curls and my roots were curling up. I have never wasted my money as I did here. I was also very upset by how much she cut my hair, I said one finger's length of cut and she cut about five fingers. I had to iron my own hair at home and use my own curling iron to curl my tips again. I did a better job and my hair lasted all night at the wedding I had to attend. It is very disappointing, she was either tired and wanted to finish fast or didn't feel like working. I don't know about the other hairdresser but Mary Carmen is not good at her job.

We have been Rose’s clients for more than 12 years. Rose is very professional and creative. Her passion for the profession is notorious. The salon is very clean and well organized. Silvia, Dani and Jessica are excellent and creative hairdressers as well. I am always happy with my hair extensions and highlights by Rose. We definitely recommend this salon at West Kendall.
