Update: Sue cut my hair last time and did a great job. I can’t find her business card, so I called the main number. It says “the mailbox is full” and you can’t leave a message to make an appointment. Not sure how you run a business that way.

Sue does an excellent perm! She really takes her time, so people often ask if my hair is naturally curly. She's done cuts, highlights, and lowlights, too, and my hair always comes out great!

I went in for a perm service roughly a week and a half ago and was quoted $80 for a perm/ trim. The service was mediocre and felt rushed, the perm was done on very wet hair and the solution didn't set completely. I ended up paying way more than what I was quoted for (I had expected to pay more, due to having longer hair) but the price was a huge surprise. I left the salon with soaking wet hair. I followed all directions, didn't get my hair wet, didn't use shampoo, and let the hair set for 48 hours. I have wavy hair at best, not the expected spiral that should happen with a perm. I have had many perms before and I am not sure what went wrong with this one.

Zen salon and spa is very great. Sue is very good at what she does. Her pricing is affordable and her quality of work is top of the line. She is in Colorado Springs off of Union and Vickers. I recommend Sue. I’ve become one of her regular clients.

By far the best hair straightening treatment I’ve ever had. It took my frizzy, uncontrollable curly hair to smooth and it lasts for such a long time. This is the only place I will be going to!

I was looking for an experienced stylist that could do a natural looking perm on my fine gray hair, and fortunately I found Sue (the owner). My perms last a full six months and look great! Sue trims my hair every two months in between perms and that extra care maintains the shape and style and keeps it looking healthy. I get so many compliments on my “natural” hair, that’s how amazing her perms are. I highly recommend Sue if you’re looking for an experienced and professional hairstylist.

I was looking for so long to find a place to get good long lasting perms and i found here by searching through Google. I have went here 4 times already for my perm and each time it was great, my hair is a bit different from most people and she keeps notes, and makes suggestions for what should be done next time. I'm also not a very social person and after going here for so long she understands that. This place is overall amazing for perms, it's like a hidden gem and I'm glad i found it.

I’ve been here four times for a perm.They last pretty good for a long time. Good haircut and ideas from the hairstylist lady. I get perms all the time so really good perms here and not dry dead end perm. My perm feels smooth and curly with no dead ends.

I received a perm about a week ago. When I washed my hair after the 42 hours the perm didn’t stick. I tried many different products but nothing is working. I have been calling the salon for 4 days now and no one is picking up nor returning my calls. To say the least I am not happy with the service I paid for.

Sue gave me a cut and perm and she did an incredible job! I've never been more happy with my hair! She was also able to get me in on very short notice on a Sunday of all days. I don't even live in the Springs but I'm definitely going to be coming back here next time I need a perm. Thank you Sue!

The best place to get a perm for guys ngl, I have straight hair so finding a place to get a perm was a little worrisome but I after getting my perm done here it was prob the best choice I made 💯👍.

I was blown away by Sue the owner and barber who did an outstanding job to follow my reference pictures and knew exactly what style I was going for!!! I went there as a new customer looking for a perm for shoulder length hair. She listened carefully to what I wanted, asked some questions and proceeded to give me exactly what I requested. She also recommended a shampoo and conditioner that I purchased (I don't usually buy those at a salon) and it works wonderfully.

Sue is the best! She does amazing and takes her time with my perm and when I felt like the curls were loose, she let me come in a few days later to do tighter curls and she made sure I was happy with it! Highly recommend

Sue is the best !! I been getting a perm here for years now and she does it like nobody can. She takes her time has great conversation and has incredible customer service ! I wouldn’t go to any other salon!!! In the past I have been to a few and didn’t get treated the way I get treated here. I recommend you coke a million percent. If there were more stars I’d put more. CURLS & Care!!! I got a perm by Sue late last August after another well known business gave me a perm that was falling out as I was walking out of the salon. I found Sue and saved my horrifically damaged hair and gave me a perm that never fell out, merely grew out lol. So I’m back today! Sue puts a lot of effort into understanding what you want and explains what that process is going to be. I appreciate the care and the curls!!! Sue cut my hair after the perm because we weren’t sure how my hair would take. I love my new hairstyle!! Thank you Sue!!!

I've been going to Sue for over a decade now and I've never gone to anyone else for my hair since. She is wonderful and very talented at her job. She's colored, done highlights, olaplex conditioning treatment, cuts and I have also brought my daughter here for her hair and she always does a fabulous job. I'm so thankful that I have Sue to take care of my hair.
