I had used a product on my hair that turned it into a thick knotted matted nightmare. I didn’t think ANYTHING could be done besides to shave it. It had taken me a year or so to go from a long bob to hair down to my mid back. I was in tears looking for help. I called Tina at Abana and she was so compassionate and made me feel so comfortable with what I was dealing with. It took her hours to work through my hair. But she kept going and got the knotted matts out completely. I am so thankful for her and Charlie both. Between Charlie’s product (she makes) and her helping Tina...I am amazed at what they did for me. I have my next appointment booked for color....

Tina was just wonderful!! She did such an amazing job on my girlfriend's hair! She has never been this happy with her hair before!! She went above and beyond to make the extensions look totally natural .

Don't make an appointment with Sara, walked in for my appointment 5min early and initially had bad vibes. She looked up at the clock and said, dang you're already here, ugh I hate my life. She was in the middle of coloring a ladies hair when she told me to have a seat. So I told myself, I'll wait 30 minutes and if she still hasn't gotten to me I'll ask to reschedule. She goes to wash this ladies color out and I can hear them talking. The color didn't take, and she's gonna start all over she tells this lady. Lady seems irritated, as do I. I watch her go to the back by the exit, disappear, then comes out LIGHTING A CIGARETTE, not even out the exit yet! I forgot to mention the phone call she took, so rude to the person asking her questions about dreads. Like she didn't want there business. Needless to say I walked out of there.

Very friendly atmosphere! Shirley (aka Charlie) Strickland worked on my hair - she is a hair wizard! Got my Brazilian Blowout done by her, and she is super sweet, accommodating, and very knowledgeable of her trade. I am definitely going back to Abana Salon, and back to Charlie! Thank you for your incredible work, my hair looks and feels amazing!! :)

Good stylist but don't go. Ashley M. will end up just makoing you feel like a burden. It is one of the worst things there is when you think you have a good stylist/client relationship when really they mock you and complain about "having to deal with you" behind your back within earshot of other clients and stylist. Especially when you pay the kind of money you pay to get your hair done. I do not do business with people who are disrespectful. Take your business elsewhere. This isn't worth the hastle. I will be telling my friends and family about this place. Abana is welcome to call me if they have questions about my review. Not all clients hide behind the internet.

Great place to get a beard trim, Ashley T does a great job of making you look good. The owner Tina is also wicked cool and makes you laugh when you get a service.

Absolutely love this place! Came in on a recommendation from a friend and I could not be more pleased! The staff is fun and they really listen to what it is you want for your hair. Not only do they listen, but they make it happen! Ashley T. Always does an amazing job coloring my hair. She asks what I'm looking for and is always able to put my hair dreams into reality!! Regardless how long in between my visits, the girls always remember me and make me feel so at home and welcomed.

Worst hair cut experience ever would not recommend this place to anyone. 2 employees smelled of alcohol and were very unprofessional even the owner and her 2 assistant's were very unpleasant

Without a doubt the BEST salon in all of Colorado!!!! I drive all the way to Colorado Springs from Denver just to have my hair done... I would recommend this Salon to every person I know and even people I don't! This Salon keeps me looking my absolute best and feels like family from the time I walk through the door! EVERY SINGLE STYLIST at Abana Salon is an absolute Fabulous hair stylist and offer SO many different services then any other Salon I've ever been to!!!! I LOVE these ladies!!!!! ❤️

Abana Salon with the help of the amazingly talented Rachel saved my hair and made it feel healthy again. Back at the beginning of this year, my hair was fried after bleach was applied to my already white at the time hair. It felt like stretchy gum and I hated how I looked. I wore my hair in a ponytail constantly. Months later I was depressed and needed to change it to feel like myself again. That is when I found Abana Salon. They not only listened to what I eventually wanted my hair to look like again, they understood that my hair's health was the most important thing to me. Every time I visit their salon my hair just keeps looking better and better and feels like real hair again instead of gum. They dont judge and everyone is friendly, so if you have been through a hair disaster like me or if you just want a reliable salon that cares, go to Abana Salon!

Saw Rachel for the first time in Dec to get highlights after having my bangs fried at another salon. I was very nervous about having chemicals anywhere near my hair because I didn't want the situation to get any worse. Rachel made me feel very comfortable that it wouldn't get worse and we'd work to get my color back to where I wanted it to be. It came out great and I'll be seeing her again for sure!

Tina at Abana Salon is the only person allowed to cut my hair! She has over 20 years in the salon business, and (unlike a lot of other stylists with a lot of experience)is staying current with trends and constantly learning and growing to keep up with a demanding industry. I have very thick, wavy hair, and I have a big problem finding someone who can manage cutting it, but Tina has me leaving her chair happy EVERY SINGLE TIME! They offer all the best products and services, there is nothing they DON'T do! A wonderful experience every time, doesn't matter if it's a cut, a color or just an eyebrow wax. She's the best.

I have been a client of Abana Salon for 18 years. I find their hairdressers professional and talented. They are experts in hair coloring and cuts, as well as extensions. They go beyond what is needed to satisfy their clients, to the point that I have never felt the need to look for anyone else for salon services. I highly recommend this salon.

Brought my daughter to Abana for a hair make over and it turned out fabulous! Tina, the owner talked with her about her life style, likes and dislikes and came up with a cut and style that not only looks great on her, but is something she can do herself. Thank you, I have a happy teenager!

The environment is relaxed and comfortable, the staff is incredibly nice, and I have never come out unsatisfied with my hair. They always listen to exactly what you want and nail it every time. Plus, the coffee is delicious. After my last dye job, I got stopped on the street and asked where I get my hair done - I highly recommend this salon!
