My first time visiting this salon. The salon is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Elsie did such an excellent job on my hair, she listened and did exactly what I hoped for-no post salon trip tears!! Worth the hour drive for me!

Have been coming to this salon for years with Elsie! She is super professional and works literal magic. She is always very accommodating for changes or wanting to try anything different. I always feel confident and beautiful after leaving with a side of great conversation! The salon is clean, well put together and all staff are super kind! Will always recommend her!

David is a fabulous Hairstylist. I highly suggest him to anyone who wants a haircut to compliment his or her face. He is also fabulous with color and styling.

I have gone to about face for years and love Amanda. She's been a really big help. When my hair died we didn't know what caused it turns outs I became allergic to hair dye. Amanda worked with me and though I no longer dye my hair. She does an amazing job with cutting my hair. Thank you!

I haven’t had my hair professionally coloured in a while and felt I should treat myself to a nice dye. I was referred to coming to this salon by a friend who’s a regular, so I was very excited to set an appointment. The consultation, customer service, the salon itself were great so I had no worries dishing out a lot more money here than elsewhere. On the day I was getting the dye, it took a lot longer than we expected. The stylist herself was pretty rough when pulling and brushing my hair, and even after we talked about it she was heavy handed so I just tried to ignore it. She was also messy as she didn’t cleanly go around the border of my hairline with the black dye (and left stains I later had to scrub away. Including when she did my eyebrows, which were blocky). When she did the big reveal at the end I was so disappointed… I knew I would have the black roots as I wanted but the rest of my hair had dark, DARK colours when we were going for super light. We spent the entire day bleaching my hair just to put a darker gray over it? It also had two bright colours i did not expect in there. I was so exhausted at that point I figured I would play around with it and come around the the idea. The first time I washed it which was a few days later, all of the colour except for the black roots washed out. The hair looked so bad (like a washed out sea foam green) and I was so upset going into work with it. I was able to meet the same stylist the following week to “fix it” for the price of the dye and no other charges. I was willing to give a second chance at this point but left feeling just as bad as the first time. I was wearing a blue-green head of hair that did not compliment me very well but I knew my hair has been through so much that I needed to let it rest. I don’t think any of this reflects as the stylist having lack of talent, but I do believe she didn’t understand the assignment. If it wasn’t possible to so the hair colour I wanted in one sitting then she should’ve just told me. We could have done multiple visits and had a softer approach to lightening my hair. But throwing in extra dyes and accents that weren’t even permanent just made the turnout so much worse. I wasn’t going to write this review but since it’s been a few months and my hair is finally looking better I feel like I can talk about the experience in a more appropriate manner. I don’t think I’ll ever come back to this salon but for those of you that do, I would just be as clear as you can about what you want and what they can do.

Was excited to try this salon, first time. I do not write reviews, and was debating upon writing this one. The customer service I received the day I went, was anything but customer service. My “transaction” felt very rushed and I was not offered a return appointment. Not sure if this is something that is done at this salon. The haircut I received left me quite unhappy as I feel it ruined the shape and texture of my hair; it is now very thin in several places, and frizzy which was not something I struggled with before. I have debated on going back and trying another stylist, or giving the same stylist another try and to also see if the customer service is better on another day, however at this time I am undecided.
