I was referred by my Podiatrist, Dr. Danilova with TD Podiatry to ACA Acupuncture and Wellness which also in the same building (at 156 William St. in the FiDi neighbourhood), when my mother-in law and I inquired for a professional acupuncturist. We went up to the 8th floor and voila! We were greeted by the front desk staff, Lena and gave us the earliest appointment to see Dr. Ma. I never had an acupuncture before but, since I am aware of its good benefits especially for people who are active like myself, I decided to do it with my mother-in law. The three treatments we had was a combination of massage therapy, acupuncture and physical therapy. It was such a relieve that I finally found a great place that provides these three treatments to their patients. Dr. Ma, Dr. May and Dr. John are professionals and caring doctors. The whole staff at ACA Acupunture and Wellness are all professional and patience. They go above and beyond to care for their patients. I highly recommend this place.

Dr. Ma and team have been the absolute best. They are caring and attentive. They really care about your wellbeing and make every effort to make you feel comfortable. Li Ma has been treating my grandmother for the last few weeks and it’s been such a wonderful experience for her. Li has been thorough, patient and very helpful. She explains what she is doing and why she is doing it. She recommends new procedures to help with the pain. She is such a pleasure to work with and we can’t say enough positive things about her.

What can I say about Dr. Li Ma ? She is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I have suffered from stress/anxiety, eczema, TMJ, and much more - and even after just a few sessions, I saw a notable difference in every aspect of my health. She has helped me feel tremendously better and I am so grateful for her. Dr. Ma's extensive knowledge, expertise, and professionalism are one thing, but it is her extremely kind, caring, honest, and empathetic demeanor that make her so unique and a top choice as your acupuncturist (number one in my opinion). First of all, it's clean and friendly. The doctor knows exactly where to treat to get better, and above all, they treat the painful area with all their heart. They also know what additional treatments may be helpful and recommend them. Acupuncture, massage, everything is perfect. If you have any fear of acupuncture, you can try from here with her. You cans find the real effect of that. It's a choice you won't regret.

I have been coming here for nearly two years and ACA has become an integral part of my pain management routine. They have provided so much relief through their various services including acupuncture, massage therapy, cupping, and scrapping to name a few. Dr. Ma, as well as the entire staff at ACA Acupuncture and Wellness have been absolutely wonderful. I was referred to this practice by friends and colleagues who’d experienced successful results and improvements from various aches and pains. About ten days prior to doing a consultation with Dr. Ma, I’d been antagonized by an unrelenting, often debilitating, pain at my left shoulder with no clear reason as to why. Having seen an orthopedic surgeon, I was prescribed anti inflammatory medication, as well as physical therapy, to treat a suspected bursitis/tendinitis. With no relief in sight, I sought the less traditional route of acupuncture therapy, massage, and cupping. I couldn’t have made a better decision because, over the course of 2-3 weeks, I experienced remarkable improvement under ACA’s care. I was new to the world of acupuncture and had my reservations, but Dr. Ma exceeded all expectations by making the experience quite pleasant. Although my shoulder pain has completely resolved, I continue to visit ACA for the overall benefits of the therapies that they offer. The actual facility is not only pristine, but offers a very tranquil and serene ambience. Each and every member of the staff has been accommodating, personable, and professional. I too have referred others to this practice and have received positive feedback as well. Dr. Ma and ACA has probably been one of the best parts of my 2020.
