I normally don’t make reviews. But I felt this had to be done. I absolutely hate my hair so much. But first things first I had originally made my appointment with Janet for this Wednesday at 12. In which I arrived and come to find out she had booked someone else at the same time as me. Which that should have been a sign for me just to get out of that place and never look back. But I stayed and the mom helped me out. So I thought it would be ok but it all went down hill from then. I hate my hair so much. Looks nothing like I had thought or invisioned. I had shown her a picture of what I wanted which instead I told her I just want a single dark color with just some front highlights. But to my knowledge that was nothing of what I got at all. I got some weird color and the 2 front streaks are just horrible. Never again will I ever come back here. I was charged 145$ for something I never asked for. I just hate it so much.

Even though I don’t speak Spanish and they did have someone there to interpret for me. They made me feel extremely welcome. The lady that was doing my hair. She did a beautiful job on the color and the cut. I’m definitely gonna be going back.

They never came to counter to check in for appointment. Guy walks in and the barber tells him to come sit when I’ve been waiting while barber eats food. So much for supporting small businesses in your neighborhood.

Should’ve taken previous reviews as a sign NOT to go. She had one of the barbers help with my hair since she was too busy with another client going on at the same time. When the barbers client came in, she literally called her dad and told him to come help her. Her dad finished my hair!!! I don’t even know why I allowed it. I also asked for a trim and she kept chopping away. I stopped her midway and said, “I only want the ends trimmed. isn’t this too much?” She assured me it looked like a lot but it wasn’t, that I wasn’t “losing any length” ..went from mid back length hair to just below my shoulders. AND, it’s choppy. Literally 3 rows of layers. I didn’t even ask for layers but she kept insisting all was ok. I texted her 3 days later saying I was not happy at all with my hair and what I could do to nourish it since it seemed over processed.. she blocked me and she never replied. DO NOT GO!!

I like Janet and the work she has done on my hair. However, their customer service is horrible!! First, they don’t even welcome you when you come in. Secondly, they don’t start on time. Last time i waited 45 minutes until she sat me in her chair! That’s unacceptable! They need to be considerate of our time. Thirdly, they take other appointments in the middle of yours so it makes the appointment twice as long. It’s understandable to a certain extent but I was just here and I arrived first but another girl came in and left before me. Another girl simply walked out bc she was tired of waiting. And Janet’s mom needs better manners. She’s very rough when washing and blow drying your hair, as if she doesn’t care or is in a hurry. When she was washing my hair she literally pulled me up from the cape around my neck area, When she could’ve politely asked me to sit up. She’s very rude. And I made my appointment with Janet but there’s always other women who are finishing up my hair. Too many people messing with my hair and I don’t like that. They will definitely be losing customers. I’m going to start looking for another hair salon to go to because this type of service is unacceptable.

I wanted to book an appointment but because I’m white they refused service to me ! Very rude they don’t make you feel welcome they treat customers horribly! I don’t know how they are still in business I will definitely report this to the bbb! I would never recommend this business to no one !
