I drove 4 hrs to go here and as soon as I arrived they started on my hair. They were all very nice and friendly. Made sure I liked every detail of my braids and took the time to make sure it came out how I wanted it. The drive was worth it and I'll be coming back for my braided styles.

I booked online for the boho braids which said 250$ . Before getting there the owner calls and says they would be using human hair for the boho and synthetic for the braids . Long story short I was there from 7pm till 2:30 am she ended up charging me $410 , $20 a bundle and I ended up with synthetic for the boho and braids . They kept stoping and doing the most was rude over all . I will not be going back .

This was my first time getting my hair braided at Adjia’s, and I was very pleased with the service! I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they executed the style perfectly! Everyone in the shop was nice and professional, I’ll definitely be going back!

Although my hair turned out wonderful, I was not happy or pleased at all with the service that I was provided first and foremost. Everyone showed up late for 9 o’clock appointments and then we were advised that we needed to wait 40 minutes while they ate their breakfast.McDonald’s which I assumed was picked up along the way. After my hair was complete I went to Pay and was told that this was not the size of the $180 special that I had been quoted on with (Hair) being included. I now needed to pay $240 because it was smaller than the normal special size. Very unprofessional because the price that you quoted me should’ve been I had to pay upon leaving the shop. I am very displeased with the owner and I will not be returning. I feel like I was scammed.

The place is really spacious & clean . My braids are pretty & neat. Giving a 3 star because my 10 year old niece and I had to wait outside for our ride @ 10:30 at night instead of in the shop .

Im in so in love with my braids! I was off of work one day and was able to call Adajias to see if they could braid my hair. She got me in that morning at 9 am and I was finish at 1:30! They did such an amazing job!

Amazing experience here! I decided to get knotless braids because I was going on a cruise. I wanted pink, blue and yellow so before the appointment I was given suggestions on where to get the hair for my braids. The appointment went well and my braids were SO PRETTY! I got so many compliments!!! I loved it.!! Price was good for what I would normally pay for this style. They also offer Removal so I waited a month and one week to take them off. I enjoyed the process and I’d definitely recommend this place. I’ll be going back! Thank you!

Braids are nice and neat but very overpriced. paid almost $400 for my knotless braids and wasn’t 100% satisfied with the fullness and density my braids are pretty thin which is why I did not give 5/5. If looking for braids on a budget this may not be the place as I have gotten braids in Houston & Tennessee at African shops before for about $250 but overall 3/5 stars for this particular hairstyle.

First I want to thank you for allowing me to walk-in after 6:00pm and you closed at 7:00. I had at least five or six places turn me down, and even though you specialize in braids, you retwisted my locs! I had a ton of new growth because I’ve been on the road working for a few months now. To say you guys did a great job would be an understatement. Honestly, I don’t know how people around here have not encountered you. Very welcoming, worked quickly and efficiently! I personally would recommend this location to anyone whether you are in a rush or just looking for an excellent quality of service. I can’t thank you enough and I pray blessings on you and your business!!

Husband went to get his hair done, walk in, no appointment, store was soon to close, she didn’t really do the hair style much but she took on the job for him because he was in need . His hair looks fabulous and the service was great! He couldn’t be anymore grateful !!

I love getting my hair done here. I have had all types of braids in the past three years and my hair has grown so much in that time. She always accommodates me and I have never had any issues making appointments. If I call and leave a message she always returns the call within a day and does everything she can to fit me in around my work schedule. I get complimented on my hair every time I get it done. They are GREAT!

My experience was great. While visiting from California, I decided to freshen up my style. I use Google maps for everything, so I put in crochet hair near me and Adjia and two other shops were close by my sons new home, so I read the comments, looked at the pictures and when I say God lead me to Miriam at Adjia, that’s what happened. The braid pattern she uses to crochet the hair, allows you to pull the hair into a ponytail or bun. This versatility is unlike anything I have ever had and I have been wearing crochet hair styles for at least ten years. Whenever I come to San Antonio, it will be to get my hair done and then visit my son!
