We used Adore for my daughter and her bridesmaid's hair and make up. Adore was simply wonderful!! They listened to my daughter during the trial and they were so kind and accommodating! Shannon and Kelley were fabulous and my daughter was incredibly happy with the way her hair and make up turned out! The day of the wedding they arrived promptly and made everyone so happy and beautiful!! Shirley in the office helped me and my daughter with any and all questions prior to the wedding day. I HIGHLY recommend them!!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Shirley and Terra for my wedding hair and makeup, along with my bridesmaids. They did an incredible job on everyone, and we were all so happy with how everything turned out! From start to finish, they created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere, helping make the morning enjoyable and stress-free. My hair and makeup held up beautifully through the entire event, and I received so many compliments throughout the night. I highly recommend Shirley and Terra for anyone looking for talented, professional, and truly lovely stylists for their big day!

Shirley and her team were amazing to work with for hair and makeup services on my daughter's wedding day. They arrived on-time at The Milestone in Georgetown and had all 7 of us ready in advance of formal pictures. Shirley and her team were very friendly and engaging while providing all of us with personalized services. Everyone looked beautiful and were very happy with the results.

I hired Adore as our hair and makeup artists for my April, 2024 wedding. They were very easy to coordinate with, and Maite (makeup) and Alexis (hair) were amazing! I first did a trial with them, which was extremely helpful, especially because I almost never wear makeup and didn't have a great idea of what would suit me. Alexis was able to replicate a reference photo I liked to a T, and Maite helped me talk through what colors would work for me, what would help the look, and made sure that all the makeup (like false lashes) were comfortable. Some of my bridesmaids weren't enthusiastic about getting their hair and makeup done by someone else-- some of them had dark skin or short hair, so were a bit skeptical about whether or not a vendor could do a good job. Shirley reassured me that they had worked with a variety of people, and sure enough, they absolutely killed it! They came to our hotel on time, were both patient and kind, and had no problem giving us the looks that we had asked for. The hair and makeup was very comfortable and stayed all night-- they gave me a touchup kit, but I didn't need to use it at all. Let me first say that my makeup artist Jessica was EXCEPTIONAL! I’ve never felt more beautiful than I did when she worked her magic on me. I rarely wear makeup, so I was going for really light and natural looking makeup. During our trial she eased my fears that bridal makeup would make me look like a clown. She is an artist and it shows. If you are looking for a makeup artist that will bring out your natural features and won’t cake on product, Jessica is your girl. So talented! I also brought in my childhood hair stylist who I have known for years to do my hair because she’s always been like an older sister to me and I wanted her to be part of my special day, so Adore didn’t do hair for me or my mom. This will become important later on in this review. I had 6 bridesmaids with hair and makeup services, plus a MOG hair and makeup, and makeup for my mom. The main issue was with Perla who did 2 of my bridesmaids’ hair, and her attitude was pretty bad. She didn’t have a very open or nice demeanor, which was obvious to us all. Especially compared to the other artists. And she made one of my bridesmaids feel really bad about her hair. Pressing her on when she washed it last (literally that morning), and then saying she couldn’t do a simple curl and bobby pin on her hair because, “her hair felt so heavy and there must be too much product in it”. Cut to that same bridesmaid going to my hairstylist I brought in for me, and she was able to do her hair no problem. It was pretty disappointing. She also just didn’t fully curl another of my bridesmaid’s hair, and my hairstylist had to do that for my other bridesmaid too. I don’t know if Perla felt weird that there was an outside person in the suite doing hair, but this was clearly communicated to the Adore team ahead of time, so it shouldn’t have been a point of contention. Perla did do 4 of the makeup services and knocked it out of the park. She is very talented in makeup, I just wouldn’t recommend her for hair unfortunately. Shirley, Adore’s coordinator for weddings, was really wonderful and great, so this review is not a reflection on her or the overall quality of her team’s work because the third artist Sara was so pleasant and very talented too. It was just such a bummer to have someone in the bridal getting ready area that brought down the mood so much. It was really very noticeable, so much so that we started to section ourselves off from that area because the energy was just so bad. I know everyone has crappy days, but to bring that into a group setting and ruin the mood on my wedding day just sucked. To end this review on a positive note, I went to Adore a few days before my wedding to have them clean up my brows and the end product was phenomenal! If I lived in Austin, they would become my go-to brow place.

Got my makeup and hair done here by Jess and she did such an amazing job! I had fun chatting with her and the other artists during my time there too. They made me feel so comfortable which really helped with the pre wedding jitters lol! I can’t recommend this place enough! I absolutely will be coming back for any future big events. I cannot say enough positive things about the Adore Makeup Salon team!!!! They did hair and makeup for our wedding in April 2024, and all of the ladies in our wedding looked incredible. They really nailed glam & natural looks that didn't "disguise" my bridesmaids', mom, and mother-in-law's natural beauty. Each team member arrived early on the day of the wedding, communication was on point, and Shirley was extremely easy to coordinate with! My hair and makeup stayed all night, and I just felt like an elevated version of myself. Kelley and Shirley - thank you for bringing such a fun yet calm energy to our getting-ready suite! We all love you so much!!!! Thank you!!

I chose Adore as my wedding hair and make up team after they did my friend Emily’s wedding and I had my make up done as part of her wedding party. Shirley was extremely responsive and helpful and I really appreciated that she has such a talented and flexible team that could easily accommodate 10 bridesmaids, bride and 2 moms for hair and make-up. It was such a smooth process and all my bridesmaids were reallly happy with the more “soft glam” looks we went for. I hate that feeling of getting make up done and then looking in the mirror and being shocked at how unfamiliar you look - and even worse, being told “it will photograph better this way.” The adore team is great at emphasizing everyone’s natural beauty without a clownish and I love the smoothness of the airbrush foundation. I haven’t even gotten to hair but everyone’s hair looked great too and there was plenty of time for touch ups or changes before we took off. Super amazing team and I’d highly recommend!

Adore is amazing! Sarah did wedding hair & makeup for myself, my mom and sister and everyone looked stunning! I felt like Sarah really listened to my feedback from my trial and knocked my wedding day look out of the park! She did a great job keeping everyone looking natural was super kind and accommodating. Adore had great communication and was always super prompt in their responses. I would 100% recommend Adore & Sarah for any of your hair and makeup needs!

Emily Lai did the hair and makeup for my wedding in Austin on 4.29.23 and she was wonderful!! My mom, mother-in-law and MOH don't wear much makeup on a daily basis and they were all stunned by Emily's work and how beautiful they felt that day. She really listened to requests about how I wanted my hair done and made it look elegant and beautiful to match my dress style. Beyond the hair and makeup product itself, she spent almost 6 hours with us that day - as people came in and out and socialized - and she was just a joy to have around and tolerated all of the chaos around her with professionalism and grace. She is a must in making your wedding day special and making you and your tribe feel beautiful!

Highly recommend! Shirley and Terra were AMAZING. 6 months later, my bridesmaids and I still talk about how fantastic this team was! It's really rare to find a make-up artist that has great technique and product knowledge - I felt like a more beautiful version of myself instead of feeling like the make-up was "caked on." Terra was also great at working with a lot of different hair types and styles. I wouldn't go with anyone else!

I got my makeup done here before a couples photo shoot and I had a wonderful experience! Maite was the artist who did my makeup and she was very thorough and friendly. I was impressed with the high end makeup that was used. I had to unfortunately reschedule my first appointment due to being sick, and the salon’s customer service was very understanding and accommodating. Would recommend and definitely will come back for any makeup needs in the future!

I had Rhea and her team do my hair and makeup for my engagement pictures and weddings (recommended by my planner 787 events) and couldn’t have been happier!!! I’ve also had my eyebrows done here and really felt the team took the time to assess my face shape, hand tweeze each hair and explain different shape options. I had my first spray tan! I have been a long-time skeptic and was scared of turning the kind of orange that should only be seen on Cheetos. Julie really listened to my wants and I walked out with the subtle color I was hoping for. The formula she used didn’t have an unpleasant smell and the whole experience was 10/10. My skin looked more youthful and with a little color I’m not hesitating to pull out the shorts and dresses from my closet. This is something I will absolutely do again.

I loved working with the hair and makeup artist from Adore for a wedding I had to attend. I inquired at alot of places in Austin, but since October is a busy wedding month, alot were booked, or they only had slots at like 8am no thanks!! Adore got right back to me and was so easy to work with. Jen did my hair and Jessica did my makeup, and I literally had so many compliments that night!! highly recommend and can't wait to use them again! They both did such a good job, I was kinda blown away to be honest. I thought I could do my own hair and makeup well but nope I need this team for all my events from now on!!

Not the experience I expected for my wedding day. Paid $300 for hair & makeup. It didn’t feel like a $300 experience… several things could’ve been better. I went, hoping the professionals would help me figure out my look, but they just told me to google some images. Wish I didn’t have to do this on the fly. A “look book” would’ve helped. However- my hair and makeup didn’t look like what I showed her so that felt pointless. I wish she gave me some sort of contour or blush. Im very pale so I was very washed out. I looked ok but could’ve done better makeup from home. My hair turned out ok but not super. She said she would give it a final curl at the end- but did not (even though I reminded her).

Sarah and the Adore team KILLED it on our wedding hair and makeup this past October. My bridesmaids were stunning and I’ve never felt more beautiful or received more compliments! Sarah was so incredibly kind to work with, took detailed notes and feedback from our trial, and nailed my final look. I’m still in shock for how she managed to make my hairstyle stay amidst the heat and humidity! Thank you again Sarah, Shirley, Makena, and Becky for such a stress free and seamless hair and makeup experience. I’ll most certainly be recommending Adore to anyone I know in the Austin area!!
