I wanna give negative if I can. I don’t know where these good comments come from, but I have to say No Perm!!! It was the worst perm I got. The haircut made me 30 years older than before. It made my head become flatter and wider, but the man said the perm is so beautiful. I don’t know if he is blind or cheater or both, but I have to say I look much normal before going into this salon. And the worst thing is their bad attitude. The man took my hair picture even when I said NO. And I complained the haircut is totally different the picture I showed to them, but they said this is my reason. Because MY FACE IS DIFFERENT FROM THE MODEL and THE MODEL’S FACE IS SMALLER THAN ME!! I wanna say the most beautiful people will become the most ugly people in the world with this perm. The bad haircut is because you don’t have the ability to do a good perm. My face doesn’t matter at all. They just wanted me to leave after I said I don’t like the perm, and said they have no time at that day. Actually they just don’t want to talk with me. I drove 2 hours from another city to Pittsburgh for this haircut because I saw many good comments and trust them, but such bad services and bad skills make me so sad.

The hairstyle turned out completely different from what I wanted. I had clearly communicated my needs to the stylist The stylist didn’t seem very skilled with perms, and the result was far from professional. I’m very disappointed.

부부가 운영하는 한인 미용실인 것 같습니다. 제가 여기 처음으로 피츠버그 내 한인 미용실 방문했고 파마를 했는데 저는 영 맘에 들지 않아요. 저한테는 최악이고, 머리 컷트 실력은 좀 부족한 것 같습니다. 그리고 팁은 제가 웬만하면 알아서 낼건데 굳이 15%를 해서 총 $126불이더라고요. 다음부터는 다른 곳 미용실에 이용할 예정입니다. 그리고 가격도 너무 비싸요.

My hair is super damaged and really hard to deal, I’ve done keratin treatments at other salons before and it never worked for me, BUT theirs are different!!! It lasts and my hair has been the best in my whole life ever!!! It’s been a month and my hair still shine and smooth I’m so excited!! This is the only salon I’ll go in the rest of my life, also for the haircut, the designer immediately give me the best recommendations on my hairstyle, with French style long bang that make my face shape look the best - I’ve tried all bangs possible and he immediately knows without me asking it’s crazy. It is that good, try it and you won’t regret!! Bonus point - for people who prefer quiet rest over chatter when doing hair, they won’t make you talking other than about the hair, I find that very relaxing

I got a haircut and asked for curtain bangs, layers, and thinning. I can truly feel the amount of effort and detail that he puts into my hair. If you have asian hair, I would highly recommend this place. They know what they’re doing!

I just had my hair cut at Adore Salon, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results! They nailed the look I wanted from my reference photo, giving my hair a much-needed refresh after years without a cut. The curtain bangs they framed around my face are so flattering! I was a bit nervous since Adore specializes in Asian hair, and I have very thin blonde hair, but they did an amazing job! I’ve always been cautious about who I trust with my hair, but I would definitely come here again. I’m even considering trying out their balayage service. Salon Experience: Customer Service: When I called for an appointment, I didn’t realize they were closed on Sundays, which was my only available day. Despite being closed, they kindly let me come in and didn’t rush my haircut at all. I didn’t find out they were closed until after my appointment, which made their kindness even more remarkable. Cleanliness: The shop is spotless, and you can see the sanitizer they use for all tools, which is very reassuring. Friendliness: Both people I interacted with, over the phone and in person, were incredibly kind and helpful. My boyfriend also got his haircut and a Japanese perm, and his hair looks fantastic! The perm didn’t damage his hair at all—it looks just as healthy as before. Pricing: The prices are very reasonable, and you get exactly what you pay for. Overall, I highly recommend Adore Salon to everyone I know. This place is a gem!

I showed multiple pictures of my previous hair styles but he thinned my hair out too much. Can't recommend this place if you need a specific style. The service may not be worth the price.

이 정도 가격이면.. 웬만하면 다른 곳을 가시는 걸 추천합니다. 펌 받았는데 스타일도 엉망이고 서비스도 참 그렇네요. 샘플로 사진을 보여드렸는데 별 도움은 안되고요 실력이 살짝 부족하신 듯 합니다. 커뮤니케이션도 안되어서 참 아쉬웠네요

i loved it here!! this was my third time ever getting my hair cut professionally and it was league above the other times. the director cut my hair and the price point was more than worth it for the amount of effort he put in and how it turned out :-) as a pitt student, the salon is a bit far without a car but regardless, i think it's well worth it to come here if you're looking for a great asian salon!!

Excellent salon! Master at handling Asian hair, and very precise work. Service is quick and polite, not much conversation but I have no issues with that.

I think this is the best hair salon in Pittsburgh. I did this high layer cut in June. I just blow dry my hair without any other fancy process. It looks so awesome. The boss has brilliant skill and I totally trust this place. I feel I must share a picture and let everyone know how good it is!

My experience had been pretty good for quite a while. However the service quality started to decline once they gained more popularity. Hairdresser himself would go having phone conversations in the middle of cutting/drying your hair, and sometimes even left the comb on your head. And he owe no explanation when coming back. On top of that, my recent experience made me stopped going here: I had my hair dyed here a couple month ago and came back for a root touch today. Sadly, they rushed the process and obviously missed some small areas, as I can tell from looking into the mirror. The hairdresser also didn’t respond anything when I pointed that out to him. What’s worse was some of my newly born grey hair were still there after the root touch. so he simply plunk it without asking me. To me, this is just a pathetic and stupid way of covering a mediocre job instead of solving the real issue. I was stunned and disappointed.

Very bad experience of coloring my hair!!!!! I spent 550 and 5 hours there to color the hair. It's supposed to be purple but only after couple of days it became ash brown and no purple color at all! Even DIY can have better effect I think, I really don't recommend it!

Very friendly and accommodating, been getting my hair done here for about a year now and have never had any issues! This place really knows how to cut and style asian type hair and I recommend this to all who wants a little more from their style
