A 9:20 appointment is early enough that the waiting room shouldn’t be backed up & I should not have to wait 20 minutes in the waiting room and to not be given an estimate as to how long I’ll wait once I’m called back into the treatment room. Simply put YOU'RE FIRED!

Horrific admin experience, starting with the frontline doctor heading for the door before my questions were answered. I was incredulous! His comment: I have many clients in rooms waiting for me. Surgery was needed, yet after waiting a full week for AD to contact me with an appointment for surgery I finally phoned to make the appointment. I then spent a gruelling several days chasing the documentation required for aproval by them and getting final acceptance less than 1 day before the scheduled surgery. Neither my PCP nor insurer (Humana) were at fault. On a positive note the surgery went very well. However there was no offer for a follow-up visit (we're talking about a serious cancer), and not even post-op bandages or the recommended vaseline.

My daughter has been seeing the Physician's Assistant for a few years and we have been very happy with her. We arrived today for her appt at 3:30 and the doors were locked. Happened to see one of the staff members outside and asked why the doors were locked. He responded that the office closed early due to the storm and said that calls were made to all the patients. Well a call was not made to us. After telling him who our appt was with he responded that the PA was no longer with the practice and that the patients were informed of this. We were not told about the PA leaving. From the last appt 8 weeks ago until today noone called us nor was a letter sent to inform us. I have never had such a bad experience with a doctor's office. My daughter is now left without refills on her prescriptions and without a doctor to follow through with her treatment plan. This is beyond unprofessional. I don't recommend this office.

I really didn’t like this place, for multiple reasons. First they have signs everywhere saying sorry for the wait! Sorry we don’t send prescriptions immediately! Sorry there’s a fee for using a credit card! Then the tech (more than one) came in over and over to clarify why I was there, and even ended up having the assistant doctor (didn’t see an actual doctor ) do a skin check when that was not my intention. It’s uncomfortable because if I knew they would want one I would’ve asked for a female. Then the assistant doctor doesn’t even lean in, or exam my face/hair area at all for my concerns. Just takes a glance at me and gives me the generic diagnosis, even after I stated having other concerns. Ended up with a ton of prescriptions and him spending most of his time rattling off instructions for taking a face cream, instead of feeling like I was listened to. No one in that office to me was competent, they all looked tired and miserable and honestly didn’t even accomplish my whole reason for being there

I had a terrible experience and I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone. I booked for a yearly full body exam with one spot in particular being the main concern, but only got that one spot looked at and then got dismissed and felt rushed. I ended up getting the spot removed and it was right by my hairline on my face. They had no concern for the cosmetic aspect of things and unnecessarily shaved my hairline that now looks crazy growing back. I started crying when I saw how everything looked after the procedure (even coworkers and friends were shocked by the look of the incision and stitches) and both the PA and MA just left. I am an RN myself and would never want my patients to be treated in this way. The man at the front desk also had an extremely miserable attitude both times I was there.

Sat in the waiting room for an hour! They never said a word to me. I asked what was going on and he said they didn’t have any available rooms so they were running behind. I told him to cancel my appointment and walked out. Do not waste your time here.

I saw Michael Perry at the Phillips HWY location. I will NOT be returning as I heard him make a condesending remark regarding my treatment to another staff member in the hall while I was in a exam room. Your job as healthcare professionals is to educate patients regarding forms of treatment not ridicule them. I have worked in different areas of healthcare myself and this is unacceptable. You can cancel my next appt.

Worst experience in a dermatologist office ever. Front desk staff is rude. Office was TWO hours behind, no apology for being behind. I understand doctors run late but two hours is ridiculous.

I am done with this practice. I was scheduled for a six month follow-up after having a melanoma removed. I spent an hour past my scheduled appointment time in the waiting room without being informed of any delays. People that arrived after me were called back. When I informed the front desk that they had MISSED my appointment, they first tried to get me to continue waiting, then asked me if I wanted to reschedule. Both requests were refused. Putting signs on the doors saying that your appointment could be delayed is a sign of chronic overbooking. It is not a good sign that your practice is well managed, especially when there seems to be no awareness of who is in the waiting room far past their scheduled appointment time. (I wasn't the only person in this situation.) Overbooking, coupled with overcharging copays (later refunded), are enough to send me looking for a new dermatologist.

This was my first visit. I was referred by my primary doctor. I was contacted quickly for an appointment and was seen within a week. The Phillips Highway office was clean and the staff very accommodating. I will continue treatment and recommend them for others for future needs.

Excellent service from the get-go: prompt and flexible appointment scheduling, excellent quick check-in and courteous staff. PA Mike was through, gentle and supremely professional. My concern was resolves on the spot, I received treatment, prescription and follow-up appointment in under an hour and I was on my way.

I went in to have a Cyst lanced and they wanted to make another appointment. in which I told them when I made the appointment what I need to have done. Don't see Michael Perry a waste of time.

I would be very cautious before stepping foot in this business. I went in to have a small growth on my arm looked at. Before the doctor came in, the nurse asked me about the “cancer on my arm” It’s very disconcerting when you’re told you have cancer, even more so when no biopsy has been done. Next, Angela Yavny came in made reference on what appeared to be cancer. She told me she was going to scrape the growth in order to send it out for a biopsy. She also said she was concerned about a small spot (not a growth) on my right temple. Instead of scraping these areas, she took a scalpel and cut holes in both places. Their billing practices are also highly suspect. Wanting to voice my concerns, I left several messages for the office manager Amy. It took eight days to reach her (no one called me back) While Amy was pleasant, I never heard back after our initial conversation. I left another message last week and I have yet to hear back. I’m now in the process of filing a formal complaint with the Medical Board (regarding Angela Yavny) and the States Attorney (regarding their billing practices)

I would not recommend this office. I had an appointment for 2:05 pm. for an annual skin cancer screening. Was taken to the examination room at 2:25 and asked to remove clothes in preparation for the exam. After sitting for 30 additional minutes under a paper sheet I chose to leave. When I arrived there were only two women ahead of me. Not very busy. No one bothered to let me know there would be a delay. I feel that no consideration for the patient’s time is very disrespectful. This office needs to do a better job with scheduling and time management.

Dr Perry was magnificent. I’ve been to countless others with Advanced but none of them could help my situation and understand like Dr Perry. It seemed like a guessing game however Dr Perry took the time to understand my problem and gave a proper diagnosis. With the prescriptions I’ve had on the past was not effective. Dr. Perry meds showed immediate results. Needless to say I will be seeing Dr Matthew Perry for ALL of my dermatology needs.

If I could have checked zero stars I would have. I was miss diagnosed by the facility on Phillips Hwy. and their location in San Marco with having a Lipoma on my back being told it was nothing to worry about until I got a 3rd opinion and it was actually an infection that without the muscle build up between the infection and my spine could have infected my spine. To add to it when, I went to see the plastic surgeon in San Marco to just get more information on the procedure I was charged almost 70.00 for less than 90 seconds. Absolutely would not recommend this facility.

Saw Michael Perry at South Jacksonville location. He was very thorough, found a few things and took care of them on site. I've always been very pleased with the level of service received at this location.
