Update- I went in for my “touch up” and left feeling very confident with my new brows. Alana did a fantastic job. (See last pic) Going to Aesthetically Speaking has been one of the best choices I’ve made. Alana and her crew are a great team of women. The spa has a really welcoming vibe to it and I'm excited for my next appointment with Alana to touch up my brows. This has been my process so far. (See pics 1-4)

Aesthetically Speaking Spa is AMAZING!!!! I am a long-time client since the Midtown days, 2017! Watching Alana's business grow and flourish year over year is a testament to her amazing drive, focus on the craft and steadfast determination to make this the best salon! These ladies are amazing professionals. Ashley has been my "Lash Lady" since the beginning. She knows all my secrets! Lol. The newly remodeled Salon is gorgeous! The booking platform on the Website makes it extremely easy to book or change appointments. I will NEVER go anywhere else! Thank you ladies!!

I could not be happier with the results of my procedure and the customer service here. I only came for one specific procedure but wound up shopping for more services just so I could come back and spend time with these wonderful women. I am a business owner and couldn't be more impressed with the way this business is run. The owner is a wonderful example of the best of America- I left feeling happy, beautiful and inspired.

They do the best lash extensions in town, in my opinion. I’ve also had several facials that always turn out magnificent. The owner, Alana, is one of the BEST business owners I’ve witnessed in a very long time. She’s very professional and accommodating….highly recommend :)

I ran across this salon online being it was the first that popped up. I am so happy I found this place. My lash extensions look so natural, just like I wanted, and the environment along with the girls there were perfect. I found out they also do facials, full body waxing, and the Best eye brows ever!! I highly recommend checking them out !

Today I went to a different salon (will not name) to get my first ever eyebrow tint and they completely butchered my eyebrows. I panicked and looked up a different place and found this salon. Alana fit me in no questions asked when I called frantic about my eyebrows needing to be fixed and let me tell you she saved my eyebrows. I will NEVER go anywhere else for anything brow related. I found them today and already have another tint and a lash cluster application booked. If you’re looking for a brow or lash place, look no further. I have found my forever spot!

10/10 would recommend!! 💜 ❤️ ♥️ I’ve been seeing Sierra at Aesthetically Speaking every two weeks for about a year and half now for my eyelashes. I’m always treated like family and I love the warm and welcoming service I always receive with these ladies, and especially with my girl Sierra. I’ve never had any bad service here and even if I didn’t like something I know these girls would go above and beyond to make me happy. I will continue to vouch for this amazing team and always recommend their amazing service to everyone. Keep it up ladies 😘 😘 😘

Absolutely the best!! Sara always makes me feel so comfortable with every service I have received! I was so nervous for a wax before my wedding and she talked me through it and I treated me like a friend! All the ladies that work there always greet me with kindness! I am disappointed! My almost 17 year old daughter wanted a facial. I noticed the reviews on this salon and booked an appointment. During the booking process, the option of adding dermaplaning came up which I did not add. I called the salon and spoke to Alana, the owner about whether or not she would recommend dermaplaning on someone that age. She was very helpful and knowledgeable and said it was not something she recommended for younger skin. We went for the appointment and upon completion, the aesthetician doing the facial proceeded to tell me what she had done which included dermaplaning . I told her about my conversation with Alana and she said, “sometimes we do this service on young people”. I didn’t think of informing her to not do this prior to the appointment since it was not a service I had added during the booking process. She followed that by telling me she would put that in the notes for next time, there will be no next time for us at this salon.

I wasn't too sure about lashes, but since I have very light colored hair, I was so tired of looking tired without makeup. I am so, so happy I came to Aesthetically Speaking; I really do feel better about my appearance and don't have to deal with mascara ever again!!! I have been going to Sara for over a year now and she is fun, an expert in all things lashes and brows, is very gentle and quick. I look forward to my lash appointments. The remodel of the rooms turned out beautifully, too.

I honestly wish I didn’t have to leave this review but after coming to Vegas and getting a much needed removal, this is necessary. My natural lashes were damaged and are going to needs some TLC after the treatment I had here. Way too much glue was applied which caused severe discomfort, irritation and weighed my natural lashes down. I went weeks with the lashes sticking together in all the wrong ways, clumps of glue I thought were eye burgers at first clinging to my eye lid and constant poking bc of very heavy lashes that were carelessly applied. I think the staff needs to consider retraining themselves or something because had I not seen a different well trained lash tech I probably could have lost all my lashes going to this place again. Nice ladies but mid quality service. Maybe if they focused more on technique rather than singing/talking this wouldn’t have happened. Will never go back.

Alana did an amazing job micro-shading my eyebrows! She was very patient with me, as I’m VERY picky about my eyebrows! The salon is very beautiful, with a comfortable and friendly environment! You’re paying a great price for quality service and experience! I’ll always come back to this hidden gem! Thank you so much for the beautiful work! It has boosting my confidence and I can’t not begin to tell you how convenient it is to not worry about filling in my eyebrows anymore!

My lashes fell out within a week I paid for new set reached out to them about the issue before the follow up and they did not reply to offer any kind of resolution about my experience. I have since found another lash place and have not had any issue with my lashes now and retention is no issue with my new place.

Ashley is fantastic! She waxed my face and was incredibly nice and explained each step! I wasn't sure about returning because I had a not so great experience with another girl providing the same service, but Ashley totally improved my day and did her absolute best with my face.

I'm new to Reno and needed a lash artist for a volume fill. I'm sort of picky about my lashes, I want them short, curled, fluffy but not dramatic, and I want great retention - I want near perfection. After reading lots of reviews from lots of places in Reno I choses Aesthetically Speaking with the high hopes of finding an excellent lash professional in a professional, clean setting. I was able to easily book online which is a plus, and chose Aurelia based on her online reviews. I was not disappointed! She gave me excellent lashes - such beautiful work, so pretty and soft, no irritation, and holding up well all week so far! Professional shop, clean, and I was happy it is not a weird "salon suites" situation but a cohesive, well run salon/spa as far as I could tell. Lashing room was spacious and well appointed in a "vintage" building - really cute. Staff was prompt and very friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. I've already booked my next fill.

I’m so in love with this business! The building & decor it’s self before I can even get stared on the owner & her staff. Though I certainly have my favorites, there is not one professional on this staff whom I would not see for any service that is offered through this amazing salon. Alana wbster’s that anyone whom she employs & personally trains are true professionals & masters of their craft. This is a crew beauty professionals who anyone would want to work with & a salon that I could spend all day in. They have also become my favorite gift to give to others for special occasions or to simply share my appreciation & love. Gift certificates of their services.

Just amazing!! Alana is simply the best! I went for my first visit yesterday. She did a lash lift/tint with keratin. I saw result immediately as soon as she was done. I highly recommend this place. They are amazing. The customer service is great. Cleanliness is great service is great. Lash technician who helped me is Ashley and she is amazing very approachable and knowledgeable of her craft. I came in with very little lashes from previous work and Ashley fixed it and was amazing. Alana Davis the owner is so humble and approachable and great. She is very kind and nice. The place is so cozy and accessible. Payment system is great too. The other picture is my daughters and Sonora did an amazing job. It’s her first time getting her lashes and the experience was amazing.

This is just the most wonderful spa in reno.. the way they take care of their clients. From the moment you walk into their door to the minute you are done with the service. Updated: Alana contacted in regards to my review and wanted to make things right. We realized that I had fallen through the cracks between a new service and new employee. Alana offered to redo my microblading and did a wonderful job. Everyone there is so nice! Old review: The ladies were very nice and worked hard to come up with the right color for my eyebrow microblading. We got the shape right and after a week, they looked great. Unfortunately, all the color faded within 6 months, when it was supposed to last years. I'm back to drawing in my eyebrows again like it never happened.
