I had my powder dip polish removed here and for the first time it was actually a pleasant experience. The staff was so friendly and they have a device that sucks all of the dust out of the air so its a healthier environment.

My go-to spot in the city. Amazing service that offers uniqueness. Everyone is talented and accommodating. They're very fast, I'm in and out 50 minutes max for a gel soak off and then a gel manicure. I recommend paying in cash so you can use that saved money on the tip.

Pretty easy to get an appt and prices are decent. One of the few places that offer builder gel - although they call it something else.

This is my go-to place for all things nail. The customer service is exceptional, and the prices are very good. I’ve also gotten the back massage, one of which was really good and another one which was just okay - I think it just depends on who you get.

Experience was okay .. my girl was a little aggressive but nice. I would have given 5 stars, but they were demanding a tip ..( keep in mind i was going to tip) but people need to keep in mind that a (tip) is a gift to them and if one doesn't have then she shouldn't get upset and ask if I had venmo or zelle or paypal .. that was insane to me. I will not be going back, but it sucks because they did a good job.

I was going to count my $50 loss and just go to a different salon but I thought about the health and safety risks of this manicure, and decided to leave a review. This wasn’t my first time to this salon and I had previously had an okay-ish experience but the customer service was exceptional. I returned in hopes of having a similar experience. To start, the previous gel removal was done at the station in the back most corner with all the surplus supplies. It wasn’t even cleaned. Honestly, I’m doubtful that area was meant to be a manicure station, because there wasn’t any supplies readily available. When we ended up moving to a proper station (for better lighting?) they didn’t bother wiping down the area. As soon as the lady before me wrapped up, I jumped right into her seat). The actual manicure was really rushed. I went in the late evening so maybe the tech was tired, but she completely ignored cuticle prep and care. She didn’t push back any of my cuticles. She maybe cut the cuticles on 5 fingers or so. The gel application was horrible. She applied 3 coats but most of it was focused on the tips of my fingers. She kept getting gel on the skin surrounding my nails and attempting to use her latex glove to wipe it off. Regardless, by the time I got up to pay, I had gel on my skin on about 5 fingers. (I later found out that’s apparently a huge health and safety risk because that could cause an allergic reaction - thank God I didn’t have one). I asked the receptionist (the man delagating the techs) if the gel would fall off later on maybe if I attempted to scrub it in the shower. He burst out laughing. The nail tech attempted to use acetone to wipe it off but obviously that didn’t work, so she had to file the gel off my skin. once she realized that there was gel on so many fingers she just let me leave with the file. I definitely would not recommend.

They are open late and are clean and professional. The gel color collection is OK however I was taken aback by the $20 up charge for chrome powder. Overall will not be coming back since I could get a much higher more precise Japanese manicure for the same price.

I came in straight off my flight Sunday afternoon with a really grown out set of acrylics. It was no problem to get in as a walk in. Anna was amazing and helped me with a shorter, more professional shape and solid color for my week of meetings. The salon was comfortable and busy, with no strong smells. Edit to add they prefer cash. They do have a small ATM. I had cash for tip and paid a small fee for using my card for the service.

I’ve been so tired of getting my nails done just for it to look like rocks on my finger until I found affina. I personally think 1)hygiene 2)the technician knowing how to shape customers nails 3)catering to the customers needs. Are the 3 basics nails salons can provide (which is hard to find) I’ve gotten go tired of nail salons botching my nails I started doing them on my own. While the nails looked nice, I had trouble making them last and decided to give affina a try. Ruby was my technician and she literally finished sip powder removal + new set of gel extensions in 1:15. AMAZING. I was never able to grow my natural nails out NOR other salons tried to help me but affina offered me different solutions to be able to grow my nails!! The shape is literally perfect the color match when you show them a picture of an inspiration is TO THE T I live in jersey and travel to this location to get my nails done and it’s actually cheaper then most salons in NEW JERSEY. I will be a loyal customer now.

The nail polish application was good, but my main appointment was for manicure, they did nothing. The one who did my nails, she did not cut my cuticles, she pretended like she was cutting, I literally saw her doing it, I literally saw her acting like she was touching my fingers with the cuticle cutter but she didn’t. It was very frustrating, they don’t know how to give a manicure. And then I had to tip her and for what???? Not giving me a manicure???

I recently visited Affinia Nail Salon and had an amazing experience. James, the manager, was exceptional, ensuring every detail of my visit was perfect. The salon is elegant and clean, with a relaxing atmosphere. My manicure and pedicure look stunning, thanks to the skilled and friendly staff. Special thanks to James for his outstanding service. I walked in with no appointment and got seen right away. The prices are good for the area and they did a good job with the dip powder. Pedicure was ok but long massage which was good! I also liked that they give everyone a short back massage after finishing their manicure.

Nach dem mir die Nägel abgefeilt wurden, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass sie heute keinen ombre machen können da sie keine verfügbare Mitarbeiterin hätten und zu viel zu tun haben. Dann musste ich über eine Stunde mit eingwickelten Fingern warten bis eine Mitarbeiterin frei war. Der Chef, welcher mir die Nägel feilte, lief immer wieder weg ans Telefon oder zu Anderen Kundinnen, so feilte ich mir die Nägel selber. Immerhin lobte mich die Angestellte für die Qualität. Als die Mitarbeiterin kam, arbeitete sie super und auch das Ergebnis war gut. Aber alles zusammen war ich 2.5 h dort. - zu lange!

Decided to walk in for a pedicure! Super clean staff is all very nice and they were able to take me back right away! I decided to get the spa pedicure and it was very relaxing, you get a 10 minute massage with his and it was awesome! I definitely will be coming back and the prices are very reasonable for nyc!

I have come to this salon multiple times and am typically very happy with the results. Most recently I booked a gel manicure with Alice — the manicure itself is phenomenal. She did a wonderful job shaping my nails and the application of the gel is great. She made sure I was happy with everything along the way which I always appreciate. I came in with a specific reference photo and asked for chrome — something I’ve gotten multiple times before and is usually a $10 to $15 add on. At the end, when we walked to the front to process payment, it looked like the nail tech side-conferenced whoever was manning the front/doing operations to ask how much to charge for the chrome. They ended up charging me $34 for a chrome add on when the manicure itself was $39. Then they told me the total was $79 even though the two individual costs add up to $73. They asked for $74 as the final cost. I’ve never been anywhere before where the chrome add on is that much. It was my mistake for not asking how much it would be upfront, but $34 is outrageous. To add insult to injury, after I left I noticed that the chrome isn’t completely applied to three of my nails. Very disappointed because I truly feel that the $34 was arbitrary and not the standard cost for chrome. I would go back for standard manicure but that’s it.
