Went to the shop at 9 am was done by 1:30ish the ladies where very professional and neat the atmosphere was perfect no loud noises i was studying for school and they provided excellent and fast service she also provides touch ups they provide hair as well but i brought my own due to the color pattern of choice will definitely be returning and when i say she caught up the hair that i catch myself i was happy about that because most don’t try to catch the hair to help it grow 10/10

Well I called them at the last min cause braid action stood me up they got me in started working on my head as soon as I got there and they did an awesome job with my hair I will be coming back they were very friendly as well good people ..!!

African hairbraiding place on lamar and park inside lamar shopping center is the best I recommend the entire American country to go to them to get hair done I will definitely be back again thanks so much I love my hair.

Due to my job I am in Memphis for several months and needed my hair braided. After researching on Google I found this place. I went in on a Saturday and they were very friendly and told me what type of hair to buy. They understood what I wanted. I arrived the next morning and the ladies were very professional. The two that braided my hair had their mask on which was a plus. The ladies were fast and it didn’t hurt. My hair turned out very cute and what I wanted. I highly recommend coming here. Horrible place of business!! They cheated my husband out of his money. Wrote him an invoice for one price ($50) and failed to give him his change back (after he gave them a $100)—talking about the style was $70-80z On top of everything, his hair looked at if it was a week old. Definitely no attempt to make it look freshly styled. If you are looking for quality service DO NOT STOP BY HERE. 💯

I got there waited almost 2 hours for someone to do my hair. 2 guys came in for twist AFTER me the lady got them in and out and i was STILL sitting there. You have to bring your own hair hair is not include . I paid 270 for some waist length braids but they are mid back . They didn’t tie my braids or anything they are uneven my hair been did 5 days and look like they’ve been up 3 weeks . The 2 lady’s who did my hair was so rude. The manager left so they felt they could do what we to me. Never in 15 years of getting my hair braided did i receive this type of horrible service! I drive 117 miles on top of that! And my hair is extremely thin!!!! Tried to resolve the issue but the manager didn’t answer

They Are ONLY GOOD AT BOX BRAIDS I paid $270 for butt length twist braids (triangle parts) my parts are big, but the hair is small is not enough hair in the braids it don’t look full. When I went home I discovered Over lapping, some bigger, some smaller, they fixed the braids I still wasn’t satisfied, bc I shouldn’t have to come back. Everything should had been done upon service. They seen the mistakes when they were trimming the flying hairs & when they dipped the hair. They ignored it!! $270bucks was definitely A BIG WASTE OF MY MONEY.. The heavy set lady they Call MAMA STARTED MY HAIR & OLA FINISHED IT.. they were skeptical about Mama doing my hair in the beginning!! if they knew she can’t deliver they should have NEVER LET HER PLAYED IN MY HEAD!! THEY MESSED IT UP FOR ALL THE OTHER Africans for me. Never again.

I asked for feather tipped box braids half the size of my finger. And I was charged an extra $50 because the middle of my hair was too short for her. I have never heard of this but I wanted to look nice. (The woman gave me box braids and gave me scalp braids. Box braids are my edges and scalp braids are the middle towards the back. That is why the braids are so thin.) I did not know she gave me scalp braids because I am not tender headed. I thought it was strange that she was done with my hair in 3.5 hours. I will never ever go back here again!!!! This cost me $350. What a waste of time and money !!! I was tricked and over charged.

I started here 3 years ago and I’m still very satisfied. From twist, box braids, or whatever I’m still always satisfied in the environment. I’ll call at the last minute still and I still get the same answer. “Ok, come on tonya.” Sorry I just can’t go anywhere. Isha always bless my head.

They were very rude. I called over the phone and asked the lady how much my Senegalese Twist would be and she told me $180 with the hair. When i got there another woman was helping the lady who i talked to on the phone so she changed my price to $280!! I'm guessing this is so she can break bread with the other lady!! I didn't appreciate this at all!!! Just very rude is all i can say and they will DEFINITELY charge you a different price for the same thing every time you go

Just left this shop suppose to got feed-in braids braided back in low mid ponytail. The lady who braided my hair played in my head!!!My braids are not neat & braids are frizzy, ponytail braid at top & not braid towards back how I showed her in picture how I wanted then had the audacity to charge me $220😠😡

Regular faux locs. I'm a person of integrity and honesty. They did an excellent job as far as time is considered. After carefully going through my hair. I realized my hair wasn't worth $270 but I still gave her $250. The ends of my hair were burnt too much to the point that my ends were bulky and unraveling. I told her I didn't have time too finish right then, but that I would come back and then give her the other$20. She began hollering and irate stating she wasn't going to redo. I believe her sisters or friends knew she was wrong and tried convincing her otherwise. At that moment I began to become upset and left. This would have been a nice shop to continue services but not ever again for me. Maybe simple styles is what u should get when going here.
