Tracy was a wonderful and informative stylist. I’ve struggled with figuring out my hair over the years after experiencing breakage from braids and over processing. I knew I needed a change from an experienced stylist and was grateful to find Tracy’s salon. The reviews were what made me confident in making an appointment and I’m so glad I did. She took care to evaluate my hair and explain the best approach to revitalize my hair after cutting and styling it - all while making me feel hopeful and better about my journey. I’m looking forward to booking her again - she’s truly an expert and master at her craft.

My experience with Tracy was absolutely wonderful. With just one look at my locs, she was able to tell the method used to start them and what they would look like in the future. She helped me restart my loc journey a year ago, and my hair has never been healthier. I haven't been back because of my schedule, but if you're looking for a stylist with knowledge, passion, and personality in Harlem, I can't recommend this place enough. Truly a beacon of Agape love.

I was visiting NYC for a friend’s bday for the weekend and Tracy was kind enough to accommodate me early plus she made sure I was out in little to no time. I was so pleased with her expertise (I learned so much from her) and she got my hair SLAYED! I will fly back to see her as soon as I can!

Miss Tracy is absolutely amazing you can tell in seconds that she has experience and knowledge and loves what she’s doing. she is also so nice and so sweet I wish I could give a million stars five just isn’t enough No one should ever regret going to see her. Can’t wait for my next visit but she does such a good job, I know it’s going to be a while.

I had called Ms Tracy and she sounded very rude and I didn’t want to go but after she called me back and apologized I gave her a chance and I’m glad I did it was an amazing experience I realized she’s a hard working women that works alone and just overwhelmed and very knowledgeable on black women hair I will be going back my hair is damage and she brought it back to life you would have never known. Definitely give her a chance she’s a sweet person in person I give a 10/10☺️ Ps. I never write reviews but I had to because of my Experience.

Been going to Tracy's salon for over a year and have always had top notch service from her. She is a stylist that cares for her client and their hair and always work to get out the best results. I called the salon to see if they could do my hair and the woman on the phone who I assume is the owner was very combative and rude and the simple service that I was asking for. Then hung up on me. Terrible customer service.

Made an appointment, stylist was on vacation, was able to make an appt on the website, they need a better system in booking appointments, if websites not working take it down, owner was sympathetic but it was such an inconvenience, I don’t live in the area, lost what could have been a loyal customer!!!

The owner was very rude, nasty and unprofessional. I called the number that's on the website thinking I am calling into to salon. And it called the owners cell phone. She had me on speaker and I couldn't hear myself or her that well because of the echo of my voice and her horrible phone service. I ask how much was for a wash, blow dry and trim, didn't hear her say at 1st she doesn't discuss prices over the phone. So I asked her again and she said 'What the, what did I say I don't discuss prices over the phone!' And I told her I could not hear her because there is an echo of my voice in the background. So she changed her rude tone and said 'oh I'm getting ready for work, and I'm at home.' She lost money cause someone with that nasty, unprofessional and disgusting attitude won't EVER touch my hair. And I'm not the only one who said this lady was rude over the phone.

Tracy is a true professional with old school roots! She was very flexible with the timing, and confirmed the appointment with me beforehand. She really took the time to inspect the health of my hair, and then tailored her services accordingly. She gave me great advice on how to care for my natural hair, avoided heat damage, and all for a reasonable price. I will definitely be going back.

Tracy is very knowledgeable when it comes to natural hair and gives a lot of tips and advice when it comes to taking care of your hair. Her Virgo energy definitely comes out when you’re in her chair because she is quite the perfectionist. I got my first haircut with her and she made the experience less daunting for me.

I Absolutely LOVE that I came across Agape Beauty Salon!! Last year in December, I kept trying to find a salon that will do natural hair and sadly, it was a challenge. I've learned to review the ratings and testimonials first before just diving in and sadly this was a challenge in Harlem. However, I came across Agape and I was so thankful. The owner, Tracy, is extremely professional yet personable. She is very thorough and explained the products she used and why she chooses to use them. My hair is natural, so we talked about what is good for natural hair, from products, heat and protective styles. I returned a little over 6 months later, this past July and I needed to trim my ends. She trimmed them and layered my hair which gave it the volume and depth I wanted. I more than trust her with my hair and since, it's been growing!!! If you haven't stopped by, yet, or you're thinking about it...you should definitely Do It!!! It's a Win Win!

PSA! Listeeeeeen! Ms. Tracy is everything I needed! I’ve been in NY 9 years and hadn’t really found a salon I could call home or felt like home. I’d been growing out my relaxed hair for some months and decided last week, I was ready for a cut but not just by anyone. I wanted someone Who specialize in natural hair but could still do other things so I went online read the reviews and made my same day appointment. I am so in love with my hair, cut, color And Ms Tracy. What I love the most from a client standpoint is really listened to what I asked for and executed my hair service beautifully and if she couldn’t do it she wasn’t going to do it and take my money. Her honesty, poised and grace had me at hello but the energy of love I felt she got me for a lifetime. Thank you Tracy!

You ever heard of a hidden gem for Black hair ? Well this is it !!! As a 4c hair lady , I need all my 4c hair ladies to listen up: This is where we all need to go until the end of our days. I have NEVER met a natural hair stylist that loves, appreciates and edifies our hair such as this woman. I have sooo many songs of praise to sing about this place that it would mean writing an essay & we aint doing that. But PLEASE, if u were thinking about trying Agape out, DO IT !! Your curls will get the absolute best attention it has ever seen and your hair , mind and the streets will be blown away, can testify to that !
