AgnesO is a great salon near State and Division, and has been serving the Chicago community for years. Agnes runs a professional salon with many talented stylists. Frank is excellent with color and highlights. Gildas is excellent with cuts and color. There are many wonderful people to choose from!

I can't say enough good things about Agnes and her team! From my initial trial appointment to the big day itself, they were an absolute delight to work with. They took the time to truly get to know me and understand my vision. I wore my grandmother's dress from the 1960s, and Agnes created the perfect romantic updo to match its vintage style — it was everything I had dreamed of! Beyond that, they went above and beyond by helping me connect with a fantastic makeup artist. The hair and makeup process was seamless not only for me but also for my mom and sister-in-laws. Agnes and her team made it so easy and stress-free, which was a gift on such an important day. But what really stood out was how fun and joyful the experience was. The morning of my wedding felt so special because of the positive energy they brought. It truly set the tone for me to have an amazing day, feeling confident and happy. I am so grateful for their incredible work and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a salon that combines talent, care, and genuine warmth.

Jillian is an awful person. Couldn’t believe how rude she is/was. Must make her feel good to put other people down. Her behavior is toxic and abhorrent. I’ll sink to her level for a second… Considering the be hind she possesses is as wide as a couch I see why she would be so mad. Grow up lady!

Paul is fantastic and fast! Met him years ago while we worked for Oprah and have been following him ever since. One time we lost touch and others would take hours to do my color, he works magic quickly! And is fun to boot.

I’ve been Paul’s client for at least 18 years. He does a beautiful job coloring my red hair (it’s now going white so I go in to cover my roots). He also is able to tame my thick bushy hair! I get so many compliments from complete strangers after he does a cut, color and blowout on my walk home! The salon space is nice with loft ceilings and floor to ceiling windows for plenty of natural light. It’s clean and modern with classic movies on a large screen tv to watch while sitting under the dryers. The shampoo ladies give a nice scalp scrub and are all very sweet. Remember to ask for Paul!

Paul Mirza is the KING of color! He gave my mother this rich and gorgeous copper balayage that no other artist has yet to give her. It compliments her skin tone so perfectly as you can see in the photo. Paul is patient, kind, educated, and knows exactly what suits you since he has a great sense of style. With my respect to other stylists at this location, Paul is by far the best at Agnes salon and in Chicago. I can't wait to get my color and cut done with him soon! Seriously can't thank him enough for making my mom look and feel beautiful. This is what you call a true artist!!!

This is 2nd time doing hair color with Mylinh, I just tell her what color I want and she always will do the color with Fun. I Love Her energy and professional on the color. Overall the salon staff is very friendly and welcoming. Thanks again MyLinh I love my Hair so much.

I am so lucky that I found Paul. Watching him work is so impressive. I never have to utter more than a few words to him, he just immediately knows what I want. He is so incredibly quick. I hate having to sit in the chair for a 3-4 hour appointment, and Paul can get it done in half that amount of time. Most importantly, he makes sure to tell me that I look beautiful and he boosts my confidence before I leave. I think Paul is the paragon of a master stylist. He makes me want to return again and again.

Where do I start? First went in and Frank did the Balayage highlights! LOVE THEM and I have gotten a lot of complements on my hair!! Today I went in and Agnes cut my hair! LOVE IT! I mean I usually know what I want but Agnes did a few things that really made my hair look even better. It is the time that each of them spend with me to find out exactly what I am looking to achieve. I am so glad that I found this gem here in the Gold Coast! Not only are they great but they are only a block from my house too! I would recommend Agnes O to anyone who is looking to have GREAT hair!! As long as I live in Chicago, I will be a return customer!!

I came to Agnes O. for color consultation with Maria and a wax with Ewa. Maria transformed my hair to the exact color I wanted, I was so happy when I left her chair. And Ewa has the best wax on the planet, most comfortable setting and my eyebrows were amazing when I left the room! Great experience!
