Horrible! They agreed to a price and refused to honor it!!! Very unprofessional and ghetto!!! They also told me they are going to delete my review! I wish I could give 0 stars

I paid 350 dollars to get some locks mind u I had to pay for the extinctions hair I set in that chair for 9 hours just to come back cuz my extinctions came out in 7 day I go back she was rushing in my hair cuz. She the only one in the shop at the time I go home in one day all my hair come out I had to go back again when all my extinctions fall out. Then had the nerve to say they will charge me 80 dollars to Re-twist if I could give them a 0 I would 🤬🤬😡

The service was great. After many years with another facility I visited Agou and the experience was satisfactory and the prices are affordable. I will be revisiting again.

This is my second time coming to this shop and i absolutely love the ladies working there! They are very sweet and have a soft touch when braiding your hair. I got Senegalese twist, got there at 11 and four hours later I was completed. Definitely recommend and will be back next time ❤️

Awful experience!!! Will never go back…. Braider was rude and wanted to charge 250 for Marley twist… showed a pic of what I wanted and she brought it down to 220-230 based on the pic I showed but then proceeded to braid my hair shorter then the pic I showed. When I asked what she was doing, she became irate and started arguing with me about the price and she was a rough braider. She was disrespectful and probably mad I had more hair than her… will never go back… FIND ANOTHER SPOT OR A BLACK BRAIDER because some of the braider shops treat people the same color as them bad … F Them!!!

I came in here once with my children who were screaming and crying but they didn't complain and actually braided their hair 2! My child is bald but they still managed to get her a premium wig 10/10 service

I found my braid shop in Charlotte! Thank God for Agou Hair Boutique. Elise helps me try all kinds of styles and they are quick and the prices just right! I always walk out feeling fabulous.

I got goddess braids. Whatever product the lady used started flaking up badly the next day. I didn’t know it because it was at the back of my head. Other people would ask me what’s in my hair so I got a mirror and lo and behold my hair was all flaked up! I called and told the lady and she asked me to come in so she could see. I did but I had my small children with me . Her response was that she would scratch the old gel out and reapply new gel without washing or rebraiding my hair. I thought I was being pranked . That was so unprofessional! Since I had to pay full price why not take this down and properly wash out that product and give me a style worth my money? To make matters worse she wanted me to do it right then! When I explained to her that I had my small children with me and asked if I could come back tomorrow she said “ NO”. I never write reviews but this experience was so unprofessional I had to warn others . Don’t go here ! They don’t stand by their work !

I was told my style would be $235 by Tina. When my hair was finished 7.75 hours later, Elise jacks up the price by $50. I have senegalese twists, one person was quick and the other lady was super slow. She did not understand the mousse and dipping the hair. I was overcharged to be left in the hands of someone that was real green. Never AGAIN!!

Me and my mom go to Ms. Fatou all the time . she doesn’t braid too tight or too loose & she always does a great job & my braids last very long when i go to her. I recommend her to everyone

My daughter had an appointment for today at 2pm. We get to the shop and no one is there. I called the two numbers several times and was sent to voicemail. Very unprofessional!!!!

My hair was done nicely but customer service was the worst. I have been a customer of 1 of the stylist who had to leave for medical purpose. I call in advance to see what will be charge. Lady stated that they will review what was pay in pass. Get there stylist said 80 for retwist dreads and wash .I told her of her stylist only charge me 50. 00 and I give her 60.00 to include tip. I charge you 70.00 if this how you manipulate your customers to come in ..you can keep your svc. Not to mention 3 of the stylist stop working on customers hair to go in the restroom to argue really loud at each other where 1 stylist had to get the middle 3 years or plus going here. Never experienced this. I will not be going back.

They were nice, but I wasn't there for politeness. My hair came out sub par. They had the lady who couldn't braid worth a #$%^ to do the back of my head, but the master braider didn't come back in time so too much of my hair was done by her. I'm heart broken that I paid $185 for a job a 10 year old could have done better.

Was a waste of my time, arrived a day before so they could look at my hair to see if they could do what I wanted, they said yes, I made an appointment for the next morning, arrived 10mins early only to wait for the stylist to not show up, the other lady in the salon was going to do my hair but wanted to overcharge me with NO style for my locs, I left without getting my hair done but thankfully I found someone else at another salon. This was an unprofessional bad experience!! Smdh.

came here last month to get soft locs and wanted to leave a review because they are still in tact & usually when i get soft locs they’re falling apart a couple weeks in but these have lasted perfectly! everyone inside is super sweet and welcoming and the vibe is so nice. i’ll definitely go back soon for my next hairstyle
