I have been going to Aida’s for some time now and always got a great cut. This most recent time I wanted something a little different and showed a photo of what I wanted. She did not disappoint this is the best cut ever. I will continue to have my hair done by her. She is amazing!

This woman is amazing at her job and a true angel. Our 12 year old daughter had some sudden unexpected hair loss in the past 2 weeks that caused her hair to become completely matted. We called Aida on a Saturday night at 7:00 completely frantic and desperate to get help with getting it unmatted or cutting it so that our daughter didn’t feel as bad about it. We knew we were most likely going to have to cut it based on how bad it was. She was closed but heard how upset and desperate we were so she opened her salon just for us. She gave my daughter the cutest butterfly cut and made her feel so good about it. It was a traumatizing situation but when we walked into her salon we immediately felt a calmness and she helped my daughter to feel at ease. We will go to her salon from now on. She is wonderful at her job and so sweet

I LOVE Aida’s Hair Salon!!! I have looked for an experience hair stylist with the knowledge to discuss my hair desires and needs for years!!! I met Aida, yesterday for the first time. She immediately assessed my hair type, color issues and selected the best cut for my face shape and age!!! Master stylist like Aida are hard to find!!! She is a gem hidden in the heart of Mount Dora!!! I have found my place!!! I have received so many compliments since my cut, even had friends text me later to tell me how nice my hair looks.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I just moved to the area from out of state. My hair is high-maintenance for touch-ups and highlights. I was nervous to find someone new due to having a bad experience in the past. Aida welcomed me into her chair and asked for my hair formula, which I did not have. My original stylist was out of the country at the time and I could not get that information to her. My hair is naturally a darker brown color and I prefer to stay blonde with highlights and lowlights. She did not mind this and said she would do her best to get to the closest shade possible. She took her time looking through different hair colors and swatches. Aida created a new formula for my hair by blending different colors and she was right on cue. I was very impressed with her work and enjoyed her company. Her salon is very peaceful and quiet. It all around has a good and relaxing atmosphere. She is very accommodating to your needs and all around one of the best out there. I don't usually write reviews, but big on reading them. Aida is fantastic and I can promise that she is very knowledgeable and will not disappoint. If you are reading reviews to find a new or better stylist like I did, look no further. You will be in very good hands with Aida!

Aida is a cut and color master with a bubbly, fun personality. I’ve been going to her for a few years and couldn’t be happier with my hair. Her salon is lovely, joyous and clean. I look forward to my visits there. Strongly recommend.

Wow, that’s all I can say!!! We are procrastinators from Virginia Beach and struggled finding someone to fit us in around the holidays, so we flew out to Mt. Dora to visit family members and got recommended time and time again to come to Aida’s and we couldn’t be more satisfied and grateful. She took my wife in for highlights and a quick cut and DANG if my wife couldn’t be any more beautiful…. Aida did a REMARKABLE JOB! She is a master of her craft that knows her way around everything! She gives recommendations, pointers, and has an answer to every question. What a beautiful and bubbly woman! So full of life and old school, but will tell you how it is! I had to laugh because she shaped up my beard and mustache while still knocking out my wife’s highlights! I can’t say enough great things about this awesome place and staff! 10/10 recommend to everyone to go NOW! You won’t be disappointed! I can’t wait to move down here and get all my hair needs met here!! See you soon ma’am! 😎🫡

A truly great hairstylist is hard to find because it takes talent, patience, and creativity to be a great stylist. Aida has that and much more. She brings out the beauty in you (inside and out) that you didn’t see before. I cannot imagine myself stepping out and facing the world without her because through her work, she gives you the confidence to look great, and you do. aida is a sweetheart! she did a lovely job cutting my thick curly hair. she layered it and made it beautiful again ! look at the before and after ! my haircut would’ve been $50, but because she didn’t blow dry it (because of my curly hair), it was only $35. she washed, cut, and styled my hair :) I will definitely be returning :D

Aida is a miracle worker! My hair hasn't been cut since before Covid-19 last year, but Aida made me feel comfortable, was so kind and professional, and ended up giving me the most fantastic haircut! I have curly hair, and I've been to Aveda and Synergy salons in town (both with talented stylists), but Aida is heads above. I received so many compliments, I went back for highlights, and again best color I've ever received. Very natural looking, healthy, just beautiful! Her place is so cute, clean, and cozy, and she is a gem! I like her scheduling system too, with text reminders and ability to book appointments online. Also appreciate that she has parking right on property. Honestly, can't say enough good things. I absolutely love, love my hair, and I haven't said that in a very long time!

If I could leave no stars I would. Scheduled an appointment for an hair cut and olaplex treatment 4 days in advance just to show up and tell me she didn’t “write it down”. Received multiple confirmations from her to be turned away because she screwed up her scheduling book. It’s 2021 - Who doesn’t use a computerized system.

let’s just say things have been a little crazy. I’m a nurse and have let my hair go “wild” why bother it’s up and covered all day. I went from long boring straight hair with no volume to......ShaaZam. The cut and color perfect. Low lights blended into my natural color with a cut to give my hair volume. When I looked in the mirror and was like “oohhh there you are, wow you look amazing” Staff there professional, friendly with great conversation.The salon is spotless and well organized . Spray and hand sanitizer at every station, everyone had masks on. Head rest in sink was very nice for the rinse very relaxing no neck pain. Such an amazing experience, I booked my next appointment before I left.
