I love getting my nails done here bc the employees are so sweet and there is a member discount but I have noticed that the poor employees only have high top metal chairs with no support for their bottoms or backs. Disappointing to see this bc these ladies have to sit on these for hours and it’s definitely not healthy for their posture or spine to not have proper seating. I hope higher ups can take proper action and take care of their employees by upgrading their seating arrangements asap bc I do not support businesses that do not take care of their employees.

I come here regularly for an eyebrow wax. The staff is very friendly and will take your suggestions/requests on how you want your eyebrows shaped seriously. The only downside is that you can’t schedule appointments in advance, but the longest I had to wait for a walk in was like 5 minutes.

Came to this neighborhood spot for a pedicure and was very pleased with the service and care! The space is very clean and aesthetically cute and relaxing! Vanessa was very attentive to detail when filing and shaping my nails. (I’ve been to other places that over-file til it hurts or leave rough edges) She also did a great job with my cuticles. The standard pedicure comes with a paraffin wax treatment too! Price is very reasonable and they have discounts if you are a member (free). Would 100% come back! Come show this small business a little love!

They only treat their white customers with care, I came there ready for full service and towards the end was treated so poorly, from having to pay early before my service was up, being YELLED at for wanting to no longer get a manicure since they rudely told my friend “no there are people in line” which we understand but to be yelled at, then be told because we were 10 minutes late like this isn’t NYC that is why you are upset at your paying customers? We had already for a pedicure so we were doing fine, but it just got so weird,and uncomfortable and I’ll never be back

This is the best nail spot in Williamsburg. High quality experience, super clean and nice environment and I leave with perfect nails every time. Highly recommend.

I got a gel pedicure here and the service from both the technician and the manager was stellar! The gel pedicure included great services (eg warm wax on the heel, light exfoliation). The interior is nice, bright, and quiet. The manager was very friendly. I got a membership and will certainly be going back!

Today was my first time at Ainslie beauty after walking past a million times. I am so happy with my gel manicure- everyone there was so nice, especially the girl at the front of the shop who started my nails today. Will definitely be going back. Everything was super clean and the shop was so cute

I go here all the time and it is hands down the best nail salon I've been to anywhere. These ladies are so sweet and friendly and they do FANTASTIC job. Never had my manicure last so long. Each and every one of them has an amazing attention to detail. The interior is so beautifully designed and is always clean. Anytime I go anywhere else I don't get the same result. There is nothing like the ladies here. Never an uneven edge, never leaving polish on the skin, also having such precision when it comes to my cuticles. They truly are so diligent. And I don't write reviews often but this place is the BEST.

I booked this spot to get a pedicure and manicure before my upcoming vacation (along with a pedicure for my boyfriend). I showed up with unshaven legs because I have an appointment to get the waxed elsewhere and you can’t shave for at least 3-4 weeks prior. Well when sitting down in the pedicure station, my nail tech Dolores felt it was appropriate to make fun of me. She thought I wouldn’t understand her, but was wrong as I speak the language well enough to know I was being made fun of. But even if I didn’t, she made it incredibly obvious that she was laughing at me. In fact she even brought other nail techs over to laugh, point, and speak badly about me in front of my own face. They had no issue with the actual hair on the legs given that no one said anything about my boyfriend having hair on his legs. No they had an issue with me having hair because I’m a woman. Completely unprofessional and almost made me cry in their shop. Regardless of how Dolores felt about my body, she should not have gone out of her way to make me feel disgusting and unwelcome for a service I’m paying for. The pedicure itself was rushed and the paint job was uneven/sloppy. And I’m glad they forgot to book the manicure part of my appointment because after that experience I didn’t even want them to touch my body any further. Worst experience and will never be going back and will make sure to share my experience with others. I’d give 0 stars if I could.

I used to love this place but I have moved out of the neighborhood. I still love going and recently tried to book an appointment here for a manicure and they won’t let you book an appointment ahead of time unless it’s a higher priced service? Completely bizarre policy.

I’ve come here a few times as I just moved down the street. I will say the facility in nice/modern. However, the nail techs (I’ve been the various ones) are not good at shaping longer natural nails. Nor are they good at doing french manicures. I know the woman who was doing my nails was definitely trying but it took her an hour to complete only the tip part and she kept getting it wrong/uneven. They turned out OK in the end but the tip parts are different lengths, the ring finger is a lot thicker than the other ones, and that was after at least 5 tries for one finger. I gave up at a certain point because I didn’t want to be there for 3+ hours. Three stars because everyone there has been nice/friendly to me and the facility is nice but I wouldn’t return for a french manicure.

My recent visit to Ainslie Beauty Lounge was a disappointing experience. As the last customer of the day, I left feeling frustrated due to the staff's rude behavior, both in their facial expressions and the way they responded to my questions about pricing and aftercare policies. While I'm willing to pay more for better service and products, the staff claimed they had already informed me about the price for the chrome manicure. I politely requested the technician to slow down during the initial cleaning, but to my dismay, she used my words against me, suggesting that my discomfort was the reason for the subpar manicure. There are pumping in every nails and they claimed that it was from me moving so much during her providing service. I would understand if it happened to just a few nails . I wasn't expecting perfection, but a basic level of respect from the staff towards customers should be a given. What disappointed me the most was the feeling that I couldn't even ask questions without seeming like a nuisance. This was particularly disheartening since I've been a frequent customer, with your salon conveniently located down the street. It was the first time I felt like I paid for bad service, which leaves me reluctant to return.

You can always expect a quick, clean, and well-priced manicure, pedicure, or massage here. I always feel well cared for! They also frequently have new nail polish colors to choose from. And, with their membership, it makes sense to keep returning for discounts.

this is the best nail salon in N. Brooklyn. I’ve been living in the area for 12+ years and have been to several places. I’m so glad I finally found Ainslie Beauty Lounge. The staff is so friendly, the shop so clean and my nails always look great. And if you even get a discount if you pay cash.

Absolutely love this place, I keep going back. Super nice and relaxing space, and they always do an amazing job at both manis and pedis. Their foot massages (I highly recommend opting for the 10 min one for an additional charge, but the complimentary one is amazing too) are to die for. Always walk out of their pleased and love the loyalty program they have that discounts you. Even without discounts, the best quality/price combo I’ve found in the neighborhood. Highly recommend!

I come to this spot maybe once every 3 months for the past 2 years and usually have a great and relaxing appointment. Unfortunately this last time I left was with a poor taste in my mouth. After a simple mani, pedi I took money out of the ATM. Left a 12 dollar tip on top of my $96 bill when I was about to leave when the manger / owner quickly grabbed my attention and asked if I enjoyed my services I responded saying yes, everything was great, she made a quick comment that I should be leaving a a minimum of a 15% tip and went on to explain what the technicians do. I thought it was extremely rude and judgmental. I will not be returning to this location due to how uncomfortable they made me feel

I had been to Ainslie saloon a couple of times and the experience was always 5 stars. The ambiance is great, the staff is nice and the work is great. However last time it felt time the person who did my nails was more worried about my tip rather than making my nails perfect. Very disappointed about this especially because I used to love the place. Not sure if I’m coming back so soon.

This was by far the best nail salon I have ever been to. The salon is gorgeous and incredibly clean. The nail techs bring out new tools every time and are very respectful. The salon is quiet, nicely lit and the ambiance is so calming. They have all types of mani/pedi services, and I just needed a quick regular manicure before dinner. I’ve never been to a salon where they have fans built into the tables so you can dry between coats. A previous salon did my old manicure and my nail shapes were all inconsistent from some bad filing — some round and some square and some in between. All I told my nail lady was that I wanted round and she made all of them the perfect shape. I felt like I was walking out of the salon with instagram nails even though I only got a regular polish done. After a week, my nails still look perfect. Even the prices are insanely low. I usually only get these prices in small, cash only salons that aren’t nearly as clean. The salons that look like Ainslie usually charge double what they are. I wish I lived in Williamsburg but this salon is way too far from me for me to be a regular. If I was, I would be there every week!!!
