I thank these lovely spirited women for putting their hands in my head. I pulled up to the shop in the hour of 2 deciding to get my hair done on the whim with a function that I needed to be done and out the door by 5. I went in and together we decided what style would by best for our time crunch. My hair was started on at 250ish and I was walking out the shop right on time with my hair looking fabulous! My man loved it, at the function my colleagues loved it and it will last for quite some time so it was a win win for me. Thank you Ladies!! Updated August 2024 I love how transparent Binta is. She always strives to give you a quality style. If it’s not in her wheel house she is not going to fake it till she make it just to take your money. Not only are her hands blessed, her prices are affordable and she has wonderful customer service.

I loved my hair! They had a warm atmosphere and did my hair very quickly with minimal trouble. I loved the speed and attention to detail. binta did my box braids, and cece does knotless so well!

We had to update our review based on our most recent visit to the salon. Unfortunately, this visit left us with a horrible experience. Our braider did a poor job. Very sloppy, rushed, loose, limited braids, and an overall unprofessional hair braiding job. When we arrived for our scheduled appointment, it appeared our braider began another client. We were offered a different braider, but we declined and insisted we keep our scheduled braider, Ms Miriam. Our visit was not pleasant and as much as we paid for the service, the end result should have been much better! With that being said, we will not be coming back again. We added a picture of what the hair style looked roughly two days old as compared to our last hairstyle. How do you go from clean work to utterly sloppy?! Dr. Tats We have been client’s of Binta’s hair braiding shop for a few years now. Our experience is always great. Very professional and friendly. We showed a picture of our desired look and Ms Miriam did a wonderful job. She was quick and the work was very neat and clean. Thanks for another great experience Binta. Miriam was amazing. Absolutely horrible. I used tonhave shoulder length hair. I went to this place to take out my box braids and she pretty much cut me bald. Super thin and short. I even told her how long my hair was and didn't realize she was CUTTING all of my hair off. It will take at least 2-3 years to recover. Be warned obviously they don't care!!!

Binta, the owner, did a wonderful job on my box braids. Love that I wasn't in the shop all day. (4 1/2 hrs) She was quick and the price, with hair provided, was great!! Thanks!

I came into the shop as a walk in and was given immediate assistance on today. Mary asked what I wanted,asked for a picture,and helped me coordinate a weave color to match my hair color. I came in around 920a and left around 11am. She was constantly braiding my hair, used the perfect amount of jam, very neat parts, very neat braids, her braids are secure but not too tight,& was done within a timely manner. I asked for six stitch/feed-in braids and she delivered effortless. They’ve gained a new customer and I’ll definitely be coming back. This was a pleasant experience. I’d definitely recommend to others.

OVER PRICED!! $230 for regular size small length box braids… HAIR LOOK LIKE $1 STORE HAIR DONT OFFER MANY COLORS… An very rough with my hair just slap it together $220 for boxes braids and for a short length definitely not worth price won’t be going back only did it because my daughter wanted her hair done for school never again

This my 3rd time getting my hair done here! They are fast , supply the hair, and i am very satisfied each and everytime . I would def recommend them to anyone needing to get there hair done.

Very clean and comfortable establishments, super nice friendly staff and they are extremely real when it come to the health of your hair they have done box braids in me and my daughter hair she is 9 and the did freaking amazing I will continue to come here price is really reasonable, nice and neat braids and they will get you out fast took about 4-5 hours for small box braids I have no complaints ❤️

I went here while on vacation as a last minute idea to prefect my hair while going to the water park. I asked for jumbo knotless. She said she could do it but obviously lied. I had to correct her several times and show her the picture of what I wanted. In the end it was decent but not what I was expecting. She also overcharged me. $220 is what I would normally pay for small knotless!!!! I believe she did it because I told her I was from out of town and I didn’t ask for the price until I was done. Bad idea on my part! Oh yea, when I got home my mom told me the parts in the back of my head were very large and looked ridiculous! DONT GO HERE!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Went to get my 3 year old hair braided. Was wayyy over charged for a simple hair style, which I even provided by own hair. When I called over the phone the lady said $60 after hair was done I was charged $100! The lady repeatedly kept stopping to tend to her son, her son was all over my daughter while she was getting her hair styled. The service as not professional. My daughters braids had bends in them and wouldn’t lay straight at all. Just save your time and money.

Absolutely an extremely bad experience from the beginning! I was charged $20 more than the price I was originally told, which wouldn’t have been that big of a deal however, my twists started to slide out 4 days later (2 of them were on the floor at work). Now I have to take time out of my day to go back & have them replaced….major inconvenience. I’m just praying that this time they would be put in correctly for the price of $220. Smh

I had a 4:00 appointment, the owner/hair braider was not there when I arrived. The other stylist told me the owner asked me to come back at 6 instead because she was really busy and would not be there until 6 I guess. I decide to go and come back because it was my only day off and it was already late in the evening. I get back to the shop at 5:57 pm and the neither stylist were there. There was an elderly woman there who said they’d be right back. Nearly 15 minutes later the same lady who told me to come back arrived and asked me to show her a picture. I showed her the picture attached and the end result is so not anything like the picture. I prefer to not show the front of my daughter’s face, bit believe me, these aren’t the stitch braids that I asked for.
