I have been going to Paxton, at Akada Hair Salon for a while now and I will never go anywhere else. I have always had fun with my hair, never afraid to try something new or different. Paxton has brought that to a whole new level, and I am loving every minute and every cut! I would 100% recommend his services. The front desk staff has always been pleasant and my experiences have always been lovely.

I have been going to Akada for over 20 years, I have crazy curly hair and typically wear it straight. It takes extreme skill to be able to cut curly hair that is even enough to wear blown out, John does just that. I can’t recommend Akada and John enough!

I had a great experience at the salon! Everyone is super friendly and the salon is clean and put together. Kat did a great job working with my curls and getting me exactly what I wanted with my hair cut at a great price.

Akada salon is clean, organized, and has incredible staff. My stylist John Paul, is a master at his trade. The atmosphere is relaxing and so very hospitable.

Akada’s hospitality is absolutely amazing. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. I booked with Shantal.. and let me tell you.. she is such a special and one of a kind soul. I came in with a little too many ideas and thoughts and she managed to take all the info I gave & put her professional take on it. She was so patient and reassuring. I am so so happy with my results. She’s incredibly talented & incredibly fun to chat with. Love her vibesss! Consider her my forever hairstylist. 🥺 10000/10

Arlene was very knowledgeable and professional. She gave me a great haircut. Walked me through everything she was doing, gave me tips and tricks for styling my hair and taking care of it. I look forward to my next cut with her.

Been going to John since 2009 to get my hair cut! It really makes a difference when you go to someone that knows how to cut naturally wavy/curly hair!

First time at Akada and it was wonderful. Michelle is a magician, she fixed a mess up cut from another stylist from another salon in no time. She listens, asks questions and is very informative on what she is doing and what she is using on your hair. I’m so happy to be back with her!

I have had a handful of sessions at Akada, my last one unfortunately I wasn't happy with BUT Angel reached out to me, listened to my concerns and had me come back in. I got great advice and I can tell they definitely take pride in making their clients happy! They will take care of you I PROMISE! If your looking for a new salon I definitely recommend this place. Great customer service can be hard to find but not at Akada ❤️

Arlene was suggested to me through customer service emails and my expectations were exceeded. She was very patient with me, answering questions I had as I was/am trying to embrace my natural wavy hair. She asked initial questions, such as how I take care of my hair and there was ZERO judgment. she even tailored her help to my lifestyle, (ie, depression and having low energy some days to worry about my hair) and explained everything easily . She didn’t tell me I had to change what I was doing and didn’t make me feel bad at all. I appreciated her service and will continue to go to her for hair services. Second visit/service update (6 months later) Arlene still rocks! she remembered me from my first visit and was her super sweet self! I told her a little about what I wanted in a haircut, essentially giving her free reign because I trust her and she gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had. she heard what I wanted and gave me that and more! I recommend her no matter your hair type.

Definitely the most professional experience I have had in a long time. Kat really knows what she is doing. I felt comfortable and totally trusted her with my hair; which is a lot for someone with naturally blonde and curly hair! Loved the vibe and energy. Definitely my new place!

From top to bottom, this salon is excellent! I’ve found my new Go To. I’ll never bounce around salons again. I had one of the newer stylists, but you’d never guess she technically had less experience. She was incredible. I’ve never walked out of a salon feeling so good!

I cannot recommend Akada highly enough! I worked with two great stylists there, Kat and Amanda. The atmosphere of the salon is really wonderful and the products I purchased there were fabulous. I liked it so much that my partner switched from his barber to Akada.

Very happy with my haircut. The stylist listened and asked lots of questions to make sure I was getting just what I wanted. She nailed a hair style that I had previously thought I couldn’t pull off due to the shape of my head. I left feeling confident and got a bunch of complements on my hair.

I love this hair salon! They are clean, friendly, professional and very service oriented. I have been there twice so far and each time the hairdresser took great care to really understand what I wanted. On my last cut I was in and out of there within one hour. I am definitely planning to return.
