Only book the consultation so can’t say much about the styling services. Don’t like stylist’s way of talking and attitude. A little bit offensive and micro aggressive. Won’t book the service and will not recommend this salon to anyone I know.

I booked a next day appointment online with Sarah as a first time client not knowing what to expect. She was so nice and professional. Cut my hair perfectly after just showing a photo and educated me on how to style and upkeep it. Definitely will be back.

I visited the Avondale location which is located in the heart of the brewery district near Wild Heaven, Little. Cottage, and Lost Druid. Danny Choi cut my hair and my experience was amazing. I really wanted something different and didn’t,t know quite what. Danny talked me through it, gave great recommendations, and the cut is amazing. Highly recommend a hair cut then a visit to one of the amazing breweries.

Beautiful salon. Stephanie Kolb does an effortlessly amazing job cutting my long hair and giving it life. Highly recommend her and this salon. Years later and I'm still coming back for the same great cuts at Akasa.

My husband and I followed our stylist (Madeline) over to Akasa. The salon is clean, well decorated (love the hanging plants and exposed brick)… plus having parking is a major bonus. We’re happy for Madeline and enjoy our appointments at Akasa.

Love this salon! I see Chelsea who is amazing but I do notice everyone who comes out looks great. Really nice, open space inside. Really friendly vibe in there. Feels safe with everyone wearing masks. Definitely recommend!

I cannot say enough great things about Stephanie at Akassa. I had major quarantine hair and she brought me back to life!!! She did such a great job with my cut and performed magic with my color. There is so much dimension, shine and perfectly placed highlights throughout. On top of her talent, Stephanie was a pleasure to spend time with. Everyone at the salon was also a delight and the space is light, bright and airy. I highly recommend Stephanie and everyone else at Akassa!

I had Chelsea Muse as my stylist and she did an amazing job. She gave me the best highlights I’ve ever had. So natural and they didn’t dry out my hair. Just so you know this isn’t a fake post. I’ve recently moved 8 hrs away but I will be making a trip back to Atlanta. Just so I can go to this salon again.

If you’re a curly and love wispy, teased out retro hair, come here. If you have tight curls and like to feature them in a more natural state, then stop now and go find a salon that specializes in curly hair. I had shoulder-length tight curls and came in for a light trim to help even out the wonkiness from an early pandemic self-cut. I said I wanted to keep the length but clean it up a little and add a but better shape / framing. Was thinking soft layers. Thought it was going well, until the stylist began to twist and razor my hair, no attention paid to how my ringlets form. This could be cute if you have wavy hair and dry and gel it every day. But I have well defined ringlets and air dry. I came out with a very wispy cut that’s gonna be a mess in our humid summer weather. It’s so short, especially around the top, that I could cry. Ringlets reformed and there are strange legging bits springing out. Learn from my mistake: know what you want,l and check the stylist’s approach jives with your expectations. Someone else may honestly love this cut, but I would have appreciated an explanation before hand of the stylist’s approach and a bit more back and forth.

It’s definitely not always easy to find a stylist as a guy, so I was beyond pleased when I met Danny. Great cut and takes the time to teach you how to quickly get your hair looking it’s best in the morning. Highly recommended!

It’s really hard to find a hair salon and even harder to find a stylist that you click with. I’ve come here twice already (first time with my sister) and loved my experience. Made my appt wit Melissa ! She’s the best! Always gives me the best blow out 😍

New to town and found the salon through some online research. I can’t say enough good things about Danny. He gave me a wonderful cut and was just a lot of fun to chat with. Thanks Danny - if I stay in Atlanta for the long term I won’t be looking for anyone else. The salon itself is clean, bright and modern with nice products. There’s free parking. Highly recommended.
