I’m experience here at Alchemy Salon has and is always so positive and welcoming. Anne Marie is my go to when cutting and coloring she gives so many different suggestions for different hair types and overall slays what you ask for every time. I recommend this salon to all my friends and family.

Usually I go to Natalie, who’s always amazing and does fantastic work as well but today I got to get a haircut from their student Dee and she was absolutely amazing. It came out great very happy. I would recommend this place to anybody!

Bright and early accommodations for a wedding party and the service was wonderful!!! Staff was ready for everyone and did a fabulous job getting everyone prepared for the day. The styles were impeccable and the atmosphere is so serene. Thank you for everything!

I’ve been getting my hair done by Anne at Alchemy for two years and she’s the absolute best. She’s not only incredibly talented at both color and cuts, she’s a joy to be around and the salon is so wonderful. Very beautiful and comfortable. 10/10, highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic experience! Brittany was amazing, she brought my hair back to life. I have extremely thick hair and it was down to my hips. She did a double cleanse and added a butter mask which is just what my hair needs in the winter. The whole staff was friendly and very attentive. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know!!

Always a great experience here with Mady. I get extensions and color from her. I love that she takes her time doing extensions, making sure they fit good and look good. If you are in menopause like me and miss your full hair that you had before hair loss, call Mady, she will do a consult for you and see if your hair can handle extensions. I have fine and thin hair and I use one row of extensions and it looks wonderful, no one can tell I have them.

Beware of Ann Marie. My wife visited this salon multiple times, and each time her hair was ruined. Every touch-up resulted in a different color and style. The worst incident was when her hair turned orange with blue streaks. We contacted the owner, but instead of a refund, we were given a gift card for their salon. The owner was indifferent and did not seem to be bothered by the quality of work of his employee. There’s no way I’d let my wife return to this place. It's truly unfortunate.

For the past year I’ve been getting my hair done with Ann Marie. She’s the best hairstylist I’ve had! My hair was DEAD when I started with her. Now my hair is so healthy and soft. She puts a lot of effort in my hair every time, making sure she does what I request. She also teaches me techniques on how to do my hair for the future when I’m styling it on my hair. I love her how comfortable and relaxed she makes me feel when I’m doing my hair and most importantly love the way I leave with my hair!:)

I had an amazing experience with Kiana! I came in with a choppy, uneven layered cut from a different salon, and she spotted the issue right away. She took the time to explain her approach to fixing it, which I really appreciated. Not only did she correct the cut, but she also managed to preserve more length than I expected! I highly recommend her!

I've been coming to Alchemy Salon since Ann Marie joined their team in March 2022. I have admiration for the leadership of the salon's owners, Tanner and Austin. They create a positive atmosphere for their clients and stylists. Most recently they expanded Alchemy Salon without disruption to the client's experience. They take the time to invest in their team by providing continuing education, guidance and support. I constantly see them put their client's needs first while keeping their stylists happy.

I’ve been having Ann Marie do my hair for years. She is the only person who has cut, colored, and styled my hairs for the past at least 6 years. She knows exactly what I want, even from my horrible descriptions or inspo photos. She takes her time to answer any and all questions. She is not only a great hair artist, but she ensures you’re comfortable the entire time whether it be conversation, staying hydrated, or snacks. She tells you each step she’s doing as she’s doing it, and takes her time to make sure you’re loving what you’re leaving with. I’ve never been a big salon person, and i’d go a year before getting my hair touched up. Once she switched to alchemy i’ve seen her more times this past year than I have at any other salon she’s worked at combined. The atmosphere is beautiful, and everyone is so warm and welcoming. (They have the coziest smocks in San Antonio too btw) From the people, to the products, to the prices you can’t beat it.

Tanner owns Alchemy and he is an extremely talented stylist & colorist! I get many compliments on my shaggy layered hair. The products (Davines) are also great…I love that Heart of Glass is the ultimate smoother for frizzy hair. The salon is Light and open..great music and snacks; comfy shampoo room. It makes “hair day” a real pleasure! The whole team is awesome…enjoy!

I cannot say enough good things about my hair stylist Brittany, I came in with a botched bleach/ color job that made my hair green, gray, red, yellow and orange. I also had a a choppy, uneven layered cut that made me have to hide my hair under a hat for three days. I was nervous about whether anything could fix the damage, I asked 3 different hairstylists for their opinion because all I wanted was to lighten the balayage I already had. Most told me my best option was to just go back to dark and let my hair grow and try to bleach again in a few years. I went on instagram and found this salon and said if they told me the same thing ill just go back to brown. I called to schedule a consultation and 15 minutes later I found myself in Brittanys chair. She made me feel comfortable and reassured. She listened to exactly what I wanted and took the time to explain how we could get there in a way that would keep my hair as healthy as possible. The color correction she did was nothing short of a miracle. She transformed my hair into a beautiful, even tone that looks so natural and vibrant. Then she tackled my cut - blending the layers seamlessly and bringing my hair back to life with a style that suits me perfectly. I walked out feeling like a new person! Brittany is a true professional I highly recommend her for anyone looking for color correction or a fresh, beautiful cut!

What a HORRIBLE place to go to. Extremely DISAPPOINTED and UNSATISFACTORY experience with this place. Young stylists that LACK experience. My unfortunate days started when I got my hair done by Ann Marie. She is THE WORST!!! SHE LACKS: Punctuality,( she's ALWAYS LATE), Skills(can never do the hair same twice ), and completely lacks Experience(screw up my hair 3 times). She WILL RUIN your hair, and collect your money, meanwhile you walk around being laughed at. After ruining my hair several times, every time she found an excuse for it. I was nice enough to give it another chance. BE AWARE, 👈🏻they do NOT REFUND!!!👎🏻If they screw ur hair badly (they will ask you to go back for an ugly fix). I went there for highlights and this is how it looked last time i left that place. Carrot color with green stripes throughout 🤮looked like Halloween hair. Be careful and AVOID A DISASTER WITH HER!👆🏻 It seems that people there are hired based on friendship and not experience.

Totally amazing experience with Meaghan! She was very kind and explained everything! I was a bit nervous since I'd never had anything done. I had lip filler and Botox. It looks amazing! I'm surprised how just a little bit helped so much! I already have microchanneling scheduled with Brenna and I can't wait to see the results!!
