Leah is an amazing professional. Her attention to detail is something I have never experienced before. This was my 2nd visit after my hair was fried. She is honest, meticulous, fun to talk to, and has a huge happy vibe. I love that she doesn't try to push products and truly takes pride in her craft. I am so happy I came here. Alchemy has a great atmosphere. My stylist Lily is the best! She takes the time to understand my hair needs and meet me where I am at - she knows I like low maintenance so she tailors my styles to that and helps me understand the realities of what a day to day would look like with what I’m seeking. If you’re looking for a new salon, I would highly recommended alchemy!

I always have an incredible experience with Coco (Socorro) and have been a client for nearly fifteen years. They are always present when listening to my preferences and execute my cuts flawlessly. Their attention to detail and friendly vibe makes it an enjoyable visit every single time. The salon itself is clean and the rest of the staff is friendly and warm. I'm always thrilled with the results and will hopefully be returning for another fifteen!

My hair was a mess when I decided to go to Alchemy in September. I picked Jasel and I am so happy I did! The first appt she did some color correcting a then we decided to do extensions, which I have had a lot of previous experience with WAY back in the past ( I hadn’t had any done for over 10 years). She picked and ordered the hair for me, and it was a dead on match. The installation was great, she took her time and we talked a lot..she is such a sweetheart and wise way beyond her years! She has been so good about helping me with care and maintenance since then and my hair still looks amazing. I plan to continue to see her for all my hair needs. I seriously couldn’t be happier. Jasel is the best!

I did a hair gloss for my wedding! Glenn did an amazing job, made my hair feel brand new. Feels and looks so healthy and shiny. Glenn was super nice and friendly, made me feel comfortable and made my experience there super relaxing and spa like, very professional! Would recommend 10/10

Jen is amazing she’s very funny and makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. She always makes sure I am satisfied with my hair. I definitely recommend going to her to get your hair done she does an incredible job in highlights and balayage ! The salon is nice n clean as well. Love the vibe

I'm so happy that I chose this place as one to get my hair cut for the first time in about 10 years (also first time at this place) and that I was able to trust their stylist (Kelly) with my very long and over grown hair! This place was so pretty and smelled very nice, but not overwhelming with scents of hair products. The environment was great, people were so nice and polite that I felt at ease from my nervousness of getting my hair cut for the first time in forever. I went on the weekday so there wasn't many people there and it was very relaxing and peaceful. I love Kelly and the amazing job she did with my hair and being careful with me and making sure I knew what I was going in for and what my hair was going to look like. Overall I love this place and will come again when I need my hair done!

I’ve been going to Coco for more than 20 years. She is amazingly gifted in color mixology and a scissor whiz. An appointment with her is also a two plus hour therapy session, which is a bonus.

I got my hair highlighted and cut by Jeanette and from start to finish it was a great experience! I had scoped out her IG beforehand and loved her natural sunkissed work. I brought in a few inspo photos of the dimensional bronde look I was going for as well as photos of what I didn't want. She really took the time to listen, ask questions, and make sure we were both on the same page which I appreciated. I liked that she told me what she was doing each step along the way (including what shampoo she used when washing). She even walked me through how to use a straightener to wave my hair. Overall, I had a great experience and I'm obsessed with how my hair turned out. She also cut off a good six inches since my ends were looking a little sad and I was ready for a healthy chop. Would highly recommend!

I wanted to love this salon so badly based on reviews and my past experiences. I had heard through some reviews that this salon wasn’t the best at handling dissatisfied clients, but since I really grew to trust my stylist, I disregarded these warnings. I guess I’m writing this to tell others to not do the same. I had been going to my stylist Lily for my cuts, and she was great! Let me just say that Lily is a sweet and caring stylist and I’m so devastated things didn’t work out. Long story short, I decided to go to her for a lightening service and I think a bad combination of miscommunication and her having less technical experience in this area led me to where I’m at now. I showed my reference photos, and after the first appointment, ended up with very streaky highlights (Kelly Clarkson circa 2000s). Lily acknowledged the mistake and to her credit offered to fix it. Another stylist at the salon also commented on the streaky highlights and recommended to Lily to blend them better. Unfortunately during our second session she ended up lightening my hair significantly and giving me hot roots in the process. Photo also attached. Finally Lily offered to again fix her second mistake by adding a root shadow. She showed me the color beforehand and I worried it might be too dark since it was significantly darker than my natural base color and I was already so much lighter, but she reassured me it wouldn’t turn out that dark. Unfortunately it did, and I was left with the very uneven root shadow in the last photo. At this point, after giving her three opportunities to fix the mistakes, I felt like the best course of action would be to ask for a refund and go elsewhere to try and salvage my hair. I received an email from Lily with the salon owner copied denying my request for a refund. I tried to dispute it, providing photos and walking through what had occurred. I still haven’t received a response to my dispute from the stylist, who is an independent contractor. I received a call from the owner and she stated that I was being denied because even though my hair didn’t turn out well, a “transformation had still happened.” When I asked the owner, who is a stylist herself, if she felt in her professional opinion that my hair was up to par for her salon/what I paid, she refused to respond. She said that since my hair was changed from one point to another, a service was technically provided. I really tried to meet the owner and the stylist halfway by offering to accept a refund of half of or even just $100 of the $300 I paid, because I could see that Lily really tried her best to fix her mistakes. Plus, I really wanted to end on amicable terms. Unfortunately the owner wasn’t amenable to this and reiterated her above statements. Despite my best efforts to keep the conversation calm and productive, the owner was really unprofessional and ultimately I had to end the conversation with her because she became very combative. I’m disappointed in the professionalism of the salon owner and the salon’s unclear refund policy. I would still recommend Lily for a cut to anyone, I would just be careful going to this stylist or this salon for any type of major service. If you do, just be prepared to have little recourse should something go wrong.

Kristen was kind, talkative, and informative. She took time to learn about my hair and used products that complement my hair type. The ladies at the reception desk were very welcoming. I really enjoyed my haircut and experience at the salon.

Alchemy by definition is "a seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination" and that is exactly what my first appointment with Jeanette was! Not new to hair coloring/highlights, etc, but I felt like I was bored with my partial blondish highlights (due to cover greys) - there was too much separation from my entire hair color. I was ready for a change and this salon came recommended from my daughter (who saw another stylist). Jeanette toned down my base color and did her magic which left me with all over color that flows. I have partial highlights but they are blended with the rest of my hair and neckline. The salon is gorgeous and the mini scalp massage was an added surprise (and now a fave!). I have booked my 2nd appt with Jeanette for my root touch up and am very satisfied! Highly recommended!

Careful attention to detail; the staff gave me advice, listened to my mindless small talk with enthusiasm, recommended changes to my routine, and overall gave me the time and attention to make me feel like I have a dedicated stylist to consult with. Am going to come here exclusively from here on our. Also, I love the interior design of this place. 5/5

Love Love Love!!! Kelly did a cut and color. My VERY FIRST color! I'm 60. I was excited and nervous. She patiently explained the options, the process, the recommended maintenance and I am SO happy. For the first time in my life, I absolutely love my hair! Thank you Kelly and thank you Alchemy!

This was my first time at Alchemy Salon and it was the best decision. Jeanette is amazing, super friendly, makes you feel comfortable and did an amazing job with my hair. I definitely recommend her. My hair feels so refreshed and light.
