This is my 2nd time working with Alea Beauty (first my sister’s wedding and now mine!) and they continue to impress. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and everyone in my group looked amazing with their hair & makeup services. Leigh Ann & Casey did amazing and were so efficient with time. They even brought straws in case we didn’t have any for drinks so we didn’t smudge our lipstick. Leigh Ann also took the time to coach my mom on how to put my veil in so I didn’t have to wear it the whole time. My makeup also lasted all day and all night dancing! The entire process was seamless from booking my date with Carla, booking my bridal shower hair & makeup with Leigh Ann, my preview with Leigh Ann, and all of the payments/day of details. I would highly recommend Alea Beauty for your wedding!!

I had a small wedding without a wedding party. Rachel travelled to hocking hills to do just my hair and makeup and it turned out beautifully. I had never worn extensions before and she helped me pick out what would look best. She listened to all my requests during the trial and my hair and makeup on my wedding day were perfect!

Alea beauty is hands down the best makeup artist team I have ever worked with! I had 6 bridesmaids, and both my mom and MIL got their makeup done. It was a seamless morning and planning experience, and their flexibility throughout the process as we finalized who wanted hair, makeup, or both, was amazing. I never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day, and felt like my vision was executed perfectly. I loved my makeup and my hair and am excited to look back at pictures for years to come!

The Alea Beauty team was a dream to work with for my wedding! Booking with them was a breeze, and communication was simple and straightforward from initial contract signing through the day of my wedding. The team traveled to my getting ready site, all the artists were on time, and they got my wedding party finished well ahead of schedule. They provided such a relaxing and chill atmosphere ahead of my wedding and my bridal party looked absolutely stunning. Alli and Rachel were great to work with for my hair and makeup trial, and took detailed notes so they could replicate the day of. Alli also did my spray tan and did such an awesome job of evening out my tan lines. I highly recommend them!

The Alea Beauty team was wonderful! They helped me wrangle my 20+ women that needed hair and makeup on the day of the wedding. From the flower girls to grandmothers and everyone in between, everyone felt pampered and beautiful! It was so helpful that they were able to come to our venue to make it as easy as possible for me on our wedding day! My personal stylist, Rachel, was amazing throughout the entire process, I’m very thankful for the Alea Beauty Team!

We worked with Alea for one of our Columbus brides and I can not say enough amazing things about the team! They were flexible when we had some last minute changes (as a planner I am so grateful for this), they were able to accommodate a rehearsal look for my bride and from my perspective, kept everyone on time and CALM during a wedding day. I highly recommend this team!

This team was full of rockstars. We are so happy to have had them help our folx get ready the morning of the wedding. They were incredibly kind, and very sensitive to each persons hair/make-up needs. Brides beware!!!! This company decided a couple weeks before my wedding that I wasn't a "good fit" for their company. Only because, I decided to do my own makeup for the day. I asked if it could be taken off the contract. Instead of saying no, they cancelled my contract and now I am stressing out a few weeks before the big day. I would have paid the amount. Now, me and 5 other women are left stranded. The thing is, I was told I wasn't a "good fit" only because of my decision to do my own makeup. If I hadn't emailed that, Carla would have done my makeup anyway. If I wasn't a "good fit", then why not tell me after our makeup trial. Why wait weeks after our trial to decide I'm not a "good fit". Completely unprofessional and immature. Also, my makeup trial was a disaster. I was so orange. I literally was 5 shades darker on my face than what I really am. I've never seen a makeup artist not color match first. It's pretty simple really. Foundation color matching is done at Sephora or any other beauty counter. I'm glad that some past brides had a good experience, but if you're looking for a reliable company, do not work with this company. You are at risk of being cancelled on weeks before your special day. What kind of person would do such a thing? It's just cruel.

EDIT: Per my statement below, I finally got to experience the services of this company firsthand as makeup artists and hair stylists performed their magic for my daughter's wedding. I can't say enough about the wonderful, professional, caring services provided! There was even a small snafu (all my fault) and everyone onsite plus Carla (owner) jumped in to smooth it over. They worked so hard to make it a joyous special occasion and I cannot begin to thank them enough. I wish I could give a thousand stars. (Previous review) I am just waiting out pandemic times so I can use Carla's services! Just check out the stunning hair and make-up Alea Beauty provides its clients. Not only are customers thrilled with their special occasion looks, but Carla's professionalism is unmatched. She also is a lovely person of compassion, who embraces inclusivity.

I used Alea Beauty for my wedding day and they were an absolute dream to work with! Very clear and responsive communication. We had 13 people to get ready for hair and makeup and the team got my party done well ahead of schedule! Lesley and Sharon were amazing to work with for my hair/makeup trial and worked hard to make adjustments to based on my preferences. The day of, they were equally great: Lesley gave me the perfect wavy curls that held all night long despite lots of dancing and Sharon spent a lot of time perfecting my makeup and even working a miracle to hide some nasty blemishes that popped up. I highly recommend them!

Sharon and Leslie did my makeup and hair for my wedding day. They did a phenomenal job. The company overall was great with communication and I would highly recommend them. They are also one of the most affordable bridal hair and makeup companies that I found. My airbrush makeup stayed on all day and it was so light weight that didn't feel like I had any makeup on. Sharon was great, she knew how to style my hooded eyes so that my eye color would pop. I wish she could do my makeup every day lol. The only complaint I have about makeup is that the lip product they use didn't stay well and after reapplying 5+ times, I gave up trying. It was just like regular lipstick so maybe theres a better product out there but I dont wear lipstick so I have to assume this is just how all lipstick is. My hair held most of the night, some of my pins that I supplied came loose after lots of dancing but that is to be expected. My hair doesn't like to hold curl but Leslie did a great job and it held all night!

Bailey and Ananya did an amazing job with on-site makeup for my bridal party and me. They tackled a group of 10 of us the morning of the ceremony and helped everyone look their best for the big day. Bailey met with me ahead to determine color selections and kept detailed notes of what we had decided so we could duplicate our trial day of. They were a great help and I really appreciate their responsiveness, flexibility, and professionalism.

Bailey with Alea Beauty is amazing!!! She did my makeup for my engagement photos & did an amazing job!!! Our photos were outside in the Fall in the wind & cold. We were running & jumping around, kissing, laughing and being goofy. Plus we had dinner & drinks after & when I got home 9 hrs later and looked in the mirror, nothing had moved- not even a smidge!!! I was just so sad I had to take my makeup off before bed! 🤣 It looked so incredibly natural but somehow glamorous at the same time! I felt like a model!! Not to mention, she is so cool & makes you feel like you’re hanging out with a life long friend!! I am so glad she is doing my makeup for my wedding in May, I can’t wait!!! The award-winning Alea Beauty team is absolutely wonderful! Carla is a seasoned professional, she’s personable, and incredibly invested in creating a perfect bridal experience for her clients. She deeply cares about brining your vision to life. I was initially nervous about looking too overdone or not like myself. To ensure I was at ease, Carla came to my home (so convenient) and took the time to do a trial makeup run as well as a trial spray tan. Both came out amazing and I had full trust in her from that point on. We got married in Granville, OH. The team came to us, and did makeup and hair for the entire bridal party, including mothers. Everyone shined. My mother-in-law was recovering from cancer at the time and didn’t have eyelashes. Carla was sensitive to this and gently and kindly worked with her. From that day on my MIL has felt empowered to wear false lashes. Can’t tell you how much that gift of confidence means to us. A true testament to who Carla is as a person. Carla did a fabulous job with my hair and makeup, staying true to my dream of looking/feeling like an old Hollywood actress. I glowed from the inside out on my wedding day thanks to Carla. Her ability to bring out the best in people is awe-inspiring. Working with her is a complete joy and she made getting ready fun and even more memorable. So happy and grateful to have chosen her.

Carla and her team were wonderful. We had one flower girl, eight women, and one man get hair and makeup done for my wedding and we all loved our looks. They were on time, responsive to my questions, flexible, and kind throughout the whole process. We even finished early, allowing us some time for some extra photos before the ceremony.

I really enjoyed working with Carla from the first email I sent until the day she came to do my daughters' hair and make-up for their senior pictures. She responds in a very timely manner, she is very kind, she is punctual and on-point with her time estimate for the job, she's very flexible with scheduling. My daughters found her to be relatable and kind and showed an interest in them. I highly recommend her for her skills. She tuned in to what my daughters were hoping for in terms of hair & make-up, and she delivered. Thank you, Carla!
