Teniya at Alora Lanae is so personable and does thorough and gorgeous work. I have natural, afro-textured hair and have been for both a silk press and twists and was so pleased with both visits. Reasonable rates too!

She did a beautiful job styling my locs! I’ve been her client for over a year now and she’s helped me take good care of my hair during my new loc journey. She’s always down to experiment with new styles and they always leave me feeling and looking more confident ❤️

I will forever be going back to TeNiya for my haircuts! She listened to what I wanted and gave just that! She’s a lovely person to chat with and the time I was in the chair flew by! Also the salon is so cute and relaxing!

I'd been trying to get the perfect blended neutral blonde look for a while now. I had tried a few other places and really wasn't happy with how they had turned out. I like a really natural, blended look, but I have darker hair naturally and it was turning coppery easily or just wasnt coming out the right shade. But I found it at Alora Lanae! Teniya was AMAZING and so sweet. She did such an incredible job, really giving me the perfect hair I was looking for. She was very confident, knowledgable, and answered any questions I had about the process and how to keep my hair healthy. I'm super happy and definitely will be a returning customer :)

TeNiya has a gift - a true gift of mastery and art. Her skillset is exceedingly rare in this world and I am honest when I tell you that she offers the best cuts and colors in the Charlottesville area. I have difficult hair - thick, coarse, porous... Teniya tmaes it to perfection every time. I appreciate her so much!!!
