Leah did an absolutely fabulous job on my hair! She took the time to understand what I was looking for and explained everything along the way, what products she thought would be best for my hair and made sure I was happy with the cut. Will definitely be back!

I had gone over 15 years since getting my hair cut or colored at a salon so I was bit nervous about spending money going to a salon but I was in great hands with Charlie as my stylist. Ive gotten so many compliments on my hair and Charlie gave me a lot of education/info on how to properly care and style my hair for my hair type. ❤️

Aspen does great work, love my cut and style. She does a lot of detail work for both cut and style (makes adjustments to cut after blow dry): recommends products, provides style guidance, considers the hair texture for cut/style, and clients level of ability/interest for styling at home. She is also friendly and personable and passionate about what she does and is very knowledgeable.

Gabby is amazzzzzzing. When I tell you I have never, ever, left a salon and gone home and not been able to find a single thing that could have been better. From the cut to the color, it’s perfect. I came in with an inspo picture but explained that I honestly don’t know what looks best on me and gabby not only made the perfect suggestion for my cut but also suggested I go with a warm blonde over the cool and it looks so much better. I’m usually washed out and didn’t even realize until getting it done this way and seeing how my skin just looks better, crazy. She took her time & you could tell she really wanted to make sure I was happy with it. She was also super sweet! I booked online in the middle of the night for the next day (yay mania) and she was super awesome still. 😭

As a new client, I was impressed with the service, start to finish. Was greeted promptly at the front desk and the waiting area was comfortable, clean, and bright. The appointment started on time. Had a thorough consultation and was listened to. The best part of the appointment!! So thrilled with the cut and finish. Had a top notch experience. Am looking forward to my next service at Alter Ego.

Declined to serve me without even seeing me in person to discuss my options. I have never had such a dismissive encounter, ever. I'd really like to know why Alter Ego is listed as LGBTQ friendly. They are obviously not, as evidenced by their refusal to provide service to a member of the community. It's ok, I found a salon that can color my hair to match my extentions. I'd expected most qualified hair salons could do that.

I go to Sam for a curly cut, and she is just the best. She knows exactly what I like and what will look good on me. Plus whoever washes my hair always gives a scalp massage. Highly recommend this place!

I've been visiting Alter Ego with Shayla since 2018, and it’s always been a wonderful experience! Recently, because of my work schedule, I started booking appointments with Taylor B., and I’m loving it! Both Shayla and Taylor B. are such talented artists and stylists. I always leave the salon feeling happy and beautiful. A huge thank you to Shayla, Taylor B., and the amazing Alter Ego team for all the fantastic work you do! You guys are the best!

My appointment was cancelled by text message the night before my early morning appointment. This is not professional or acceptable. They charge if the client cancel, what if it is the other way around? Not rescheduling again. Skip this place

Marissa is the best of the BEST! She has done both Keratin treatments and cut/styled my hair multiple times. In fact, she is literally the one and only person I trusted with my hair leading up to my wedding!! This is because she truly listens, hears and respects you and what you are trying to achieve, and always has great results. Marissa is so effortlessly spot-on in her styling and hair treatments. She is honest and will tell you how things will work with your hair type (density, texture, etc.) which I genuinely appreciate. She’s so sweet and easy to talk to as well, just adding to the charm. 10/10!
