I personally go to this location to get my nails done. Yen, my nail tech is amazing!! She can literally do anything! And I love her attention to detail. Donna (owner or manager) along with the rest of the team are absolutely amazing too!! The facility is always clean, and the customer service exceptional. They also serve THE BEST Vietnamese coffee that I’ve ever had!!! Let me tell you! If you’re looking for a one stop shop for hair and nails, need look no further!! This is the place 😉

I was genuinely impressed by the warmth and skill of the stylists at this salon. Co Lily delivered an excellent haircut at a price that felt like a bargain, making the whole experience both enjoyable and affordable. Co Donna provided exceptional customer service and did a great mani pedi on my girlfriend and her mom. Highly recommend!

Found this place by mistake , this was my lucky day. They are wonderful hear…My nails were perfect and my hair came out just how I wanted. Will definitely be coming back.

I called Alum Rock Hair and Nails to get a haircut and they were able to get me in within 15 minutes. I got a quick, beautiful, well priced haircut in a friendly and clean environment. I am from out of town so was cautious when selecting a new place to get my hair cut but will certainly be back again!

I took my mom here for the first time. The people are wonderful. My mom and I enjoy going here to get our nails done. when you have an appointment some places make you wait while they attend to other customers. this place does not do that. Alum Rock Hair & Nails has the best customer service.

Another update: I was asked to pay $40 for the product used on my hair...and receive the rest in a credit to the salon. I accepted this while trying to be nice during these hard times. I received a text from Donna asking me to remove my yelp review after all of this.... I have been the most understanding during this horrible experience and willing to give this place a second chance. But now I'm not. We've been back in forth, I've called them over 5 times to fix this and still left with no solution and no call/text back. I won't ever come back here. Update: was offered 5 days to fix it or free. I do not want the people ever to touch my hair again after this experience. I expected to receive a full refund but Donna said she needed to confirm with another person before. I hope they look at my hair and realize not only was my time wasted but this does not deserve even a penny for the awful work done to my hair. Very upset with my hair. The employees are nice but they do not listen to what you want and the outcome of this experience was damaging to my hair but also my pocket. $200 for this I asked for my hair to be blended and toned not anymore bleach and when I thought the lady couldn't understand me I reconfirmed with the other one that she heard me correctly. I had bleach sitting on my hair for over an hour and they told me another hour. I said no I don't want to have my hair lightened just toned, they took it off and toned the hair. I liked the ashy color in the salon but I saw all of these harsh lines it doesn't look good at any way I part my hair and my bangs have this odd harsh line in it. I'm just so frustrated that I spend 5+ hours and over 200 for them to tell me my hair looks good. I said it's OK and I don't like it at first but they kept saying it looks good. The hair cut the guy was very nice, they have great customer service but I asked for NO LAYERS 3x I told him and he kept saying you need layers for volume and convincing me to get LAYERS... I'm going to have to book another appointment and pay the same to fix this. I feel bad because the employees are nice but honestly look at my hair do you think this is a job well done?

Donna and her team are absolute rockstars. They do excellent work on nails and are the nicest salon staff you’ll ever meet. I am glad to go there for some self care and getting all my cuticles taken care of, sometimes for a haircut as well. All at an nice price too.

Service is always friendly. Techs are all tops in their profession. Prices are competitive. I go about every 4 weeks for mani/ pedi and haircut every couple of months without fail.

did my nails wrong and when i asked for a refund and for them to take the nails off they tried guilt tripping me💀 they insisted i only got a 10$ refund for the small chunky nails and the girl who did mine wasn’t listening to what i want.

I have to say I’m really disappointed in my experience today. The nail techs were amazing. Nothing wrong with them - they are pleasant, kind, and gentle with working on my very dried out hands! My disappointment lies with the environment for which I and the employees endured. I should have asked prior to coming in, though full disclosure I was on a time crunch so my options were limited. The facility has the ability to run AC, but being over 100 degrees inside was not a valid reason to run it. And even a paying being inside and nearly passing out wasn’t a valid reason to run it. The nail techs did their best to help me and I appreciated that. I felt awful too, The nail techs were sweating and you could tell they were miserable, and that’s unpleasant to see. It makes my experience worse because I don’t want them to be uncomfortable while their trying to make this a nice experience for me. No company should have an environment like that. Please consider this during the hot/cold weathers.

I’ve went here before tons of times to get my eyebrows waxed. Never ever have they rushed and messed them up like today. I hate my eyebrows they are so uneven. Don’t at all recommend for eyebrow waxing. They rush them to get back to their higher paying pedicure clients. So dissatisfied.

This place was AWESOME! My husband and I came and got pedicures. This salon was super clean. The ladies were very detailed, and gave great foot massage! Definitely recommended! Very relaxing, thank you so much!
