Alvarado’s massage was amazing! His knowledge of the body and how things connect was very clear in the way he massaged my body. As a professional dancer this was extremely helpful in relieving tension throughout my body and evening out asymmetries in my back and hips. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!!!

I recently visited Alvarado's Massage after straining my lower back, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. Roberto was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming from the start. He immediately made me feel at ease and demonstrated an impressive level of knowledge about stretches and massage techniques. His expertise really showed as he worked to alleviate the pain I was experiencing. I left feeling so much better and truly grateful for his care. I scheduled an appointment online which I had to pay full price to do. The following day the owner messaged saying he was leaving town last minute and asked if I could reschedule or else he'd refund. I chose a refund. He never sent the refund. I messaged several times asking if he had forgotten or if there was something he needed from me. He ignored all communication. Eventually I had to file a dispute with my credit card co. They called me to ask for more info, and stated that the owner told them I HAD received the cancelled service! So this guy flat out lied and tried to steal $240 for a service he cancelled on me. I reached out several times, tried to resolve this and was very flexible. He decided to be dishonest and for that reason I would never recommend this business.

I was able to book online a slot for 2pm on the 30th of December for a 60 minute massage. I got ready and an hour before my session, I was told my spot was already booked by another person and that the online page was not updated. They offered another time and I requested if they can accommodate me earlier, they said they can give me the 3pm and after a while they cancelled again. It was so disappointing that a reservation has been paid and a confirmation email was sent only for my session to be cancelled over and over. They won’t even answer a phone call and communicate with you through text. Not very good customer service for me So apparently, the owner will text you after you leave an honest review based on one’s experience. None of my narrative was twisted or exaggerated. The owner will only take praises and won’t receive criticism for growth and improvement of their system. The owner WILL NOT TRY TO RECTIFY OR CORRECT THE ISSUE, they will send you text messages like this. I wouldn’t trust anyone to give me a massage with an unprofessional temperament. This behavior and service is absolutely not acceptable.

Alvarado is a gifted massage therapist. He has a healing touch combined with technical skill that will loosen all your tight muscles -- and the beauty is that it lasts. I highly recommend him if you're looking to address chronic tightness or pain.

Alvarados message was amazing! I went in with some neck and shoulder pain from an old injury and he was able to work out the tension and gave me some tips to help in the future. I will definitely be back!

Excellent therapist housed in the athletic club which makes it easy and comfortable. He has strong technique in helping with injury and is compassionate and soothing. You will be in great hands for your next massage.

Canceled my appointment 40 mins before start, will not be returning. Update: the owner contacted me via text, demanding that I remove the review, and arguing it was the fault of classpass. I was specifically annoyed that they said they were seeing another client, which is not a good reason to cancel the reservation I made the previous week.

I bought a massage package on Alvarados website for a new customer for 159 dollars for a 90 minute massage. I sent the digital gift card to my gf to use and she booked an appointment. Something went wrong with the appointment information regarding who was receiving the massage. (I guess my own information auto loaded into the patient form) My gf talked to Alvarado though email trying to communicate that the info was accidentally submitted for the appointment. Alvarado said to cancel the appointment and rebook. She rebooked and only a couple weeks after booking got a text message saying Alvarado had to go to Mexico to take care of his mom and that we could either get a refund or rebook when he returned. My gf opted to be refunded and it never happened. We were both very disappointed that this issue couldn’t be resolved at any point up to this time. I figured Alvarado had some personal things going on and I didn’t care to think about it for a while. Many months later, after curiously browsing the email for the gift card I paid for, I realized it was still a valid gift card according to the website and that there were recent reviews of people who were receiving massages again. Awesome, so we can still rebook her massage. So she did and it was confirmed through email. She drove to the new location (on time) waited in the waiting room until 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment, and asked the receptionist. The receptionist said he just rents the unit and didn’t know what was going on. So, no massage. Initially my gf contacted him directly through phone calls and email. There was no response at first. Later in the day he texted her apologizing for the bad communication and that he was still dealing with personal matters in Mexico. He offered to refund us with a big discount on another massage. Thankfully today he did refund us and it is a relief. Thanks Alvarado for coming through at the end.

Really great experience for my first time seeing Roberto! I experience tense shoulders and upper back and the practice he utilizes for myofascial release was so helpful! Would definitely recommend.

Incredibly talented, genuine skills and intuition as a healer, kind and generous person- have been coming to Roberto for years when life gets tough and body is having a hard time keeping up. He's always there to help me with course correcting through education and mindfulness tips. Highly recommended!

My experience was really not great today's morning. Pros: * Location * Roberto's attitude Cons: * Seems like intake form "areas to focus on" ignored and instead generic full body massage provide. Felt like no matter what you tell, you would be given the same thing. * Kind of loud music (intake form preference just ignored) * Felt like room was not ventilated * Some nerve on my neck was pressed during massage, so I left with a pain that I did not have. It was pretty terrible since I had a work that day.

I book an appointment and get a 2 confirmations (email and text) from them. Twenty three minutes before my scheduled appointment time I get a text from them canceling the appointment. I call and text them and get an automated voice and text messages. Pretty awful!
