This place is racist against white people / people that are not Latin American, they let someone blatantly cut in front of me, the person acknowledged that I was there first the a cutter then proceeded to make a remark saying “does not matter, he doesn’t speak Spanish” in Spanish, funny enough I speak Spanish near fluently to their surprise. First racism I’ve experienced in my 8 months in Austin, Aly’s hair Salon, treat all customers equal.

$30 for a man's haircut (with no other treatment and without timing my beard) this is the most expensive price I've ever paid for a haircut. Now I'm asking myself: is that a price that everyone pays? Or it's just my price because I'm not Mexican and I probably look like a gringo?

Alicia and her daughter were fantastic. Gave me the cut I wanted ( strange as it was) and put some killer color in my hair. 👍

Aly is the best!!!! If you want to go to a hair salon in Austin- she should be your go to! She LISTENS to what you want, and will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and satisfied!! I came out of there feeling soo beautiful! GRACIAS ALY!

Then the service I received was amazing! A haircut, wash and a style was what I needed to boost my confidence again. Thank you Alicia! I think I found my new spot for my needs.

10/10 recommend I go here almost every month and get my hair cut the ladies are super nice here and always play Spanish music I love it! They take their time and never rush unless you are a walk-in of course and only if they have an appointment coming in soon.

I got a balayage at Aly's Hair Salon. I had a very good experience. Gaby was my hairstylist. She did an exceptional job of explaining to me what the process was going to look like so I knew what was going to be done with my hair and how long it was going to take. They are all very friendly and I got exactly what I wanted with my hair and better.

So ,I have tried to book 2 times here and the lady that answers the phones both times isn't nice nor does she seem to want my business. She rescheduled me last time,so far out and kept changing it like I was the least of her concern and then this time she was rude and said she would call back later and never did of course. So needless to say I won't male another call.

So, I'd give this place zero stars if I could. My boyfriend went in for a haircut and didn't get anything like he said he wanted. They butchered the haircut and STILL made us pay. If you speak Spanish this salon is probably great, but they neglected to inform my boyfriend they didn't understand what he was saying before buzzing off the back of his head. He asked for a cut, not a buzz. When he finally said something they admitted they didn't understand what he wanted, and then proceeded to LAUGH AT HIM when he expressed that he was upset. Never go here, they aren't even licenesed
