The only salon in Charlotte I keep coming back to! Sometimes I'm in the mood to chat while getting my hair cut, and sometimes I just want to sit and relax in quiet, she is totally fine with either--no small talk if you don't want it :) Alysia is very professional. She is meticulous and takes great pride in her work. So happy to have found her!

I highly recommend this salon! I had an appointment with Alysia Polly, she was very professional and I can tell she cares about her clients. Alysia was able to book an appointment for me right away. She took the time to help me choose the right color and style. She was very helpful and extremely patient. I highly recommend Alysia. Anytime you need a hair specialist, Alysia is the right person to see!

Alysia was wonderful! She continuously checked up with me to make sure I was comfortable and happy with my results as the appointment went on. She is patient, very skilled, and I love how my hair turned out (my family also commented on how great it was too). Definitely recommend!

My first appointment she did not do my hair correct she bleached it and it turned an awful orange/yellow/green. I found that kind of weird already having blonde hair and getting a root touchup… I was charged over 150 dollars for hair done wrong. Even she said it needed to be fixed. I came back to get it fixed about a week later. She hardly did anything used barely any bleach to fix it. I did not get it fixed and charged me another100 dollars. Which I paid for. therefore I did let her know I was unhappy. I texted her told her that I was unhappy that I disagree with this charge. I told her I felt like I was overcharged for Hair That has to be fixed now. Therefore, after two attempts, I’m gonna have to find somebody to fix it. I told her that I felt taken advantage of and that she overcharged me. I got no response. high price for Hair that she messed up! Do not recommend! Overcharged for her mistake!

She will take the time to get your cut just right, and knows what she’s doing. Ditto on color. Pricing is great considering the amount of time she will spend to do things right.

Honestly an amazing experience through and through, she got me in very last second on Sunday (the day of the Super Bowl) and took the time to fix my hair (I messed it up by trying to DIY), it was basically a whole color correction with how much I messed up my roots. She did an amazing job lifting and balancing out my hair though as well as with the color, it came out a very beautiful ginger with some strawberry blonde on the ends. I absolutely love it, it’s an amazing color and she was incredibly patient with me as I was trying to figure out what I wanted. My hair is still in good health. Also she did an incredible blow out I’m so happy with, no stylist has blown out my hair this way before and it looks incredible, like my Pinterest board. Literally feel like a princess thank you so much 💕

I just moved to this area and finally found Alysia. She is an excellent hair stylist!! And great person all around! The shop is super clean and comfortable. She has been a stylist for 20 years and is very experienced. I showed her a picture and the cut was exact!! Love it!! 😊❤️

Alysia Polly did a superb job on my hair, she corrected what was previously incorrectly cut, I love it now! She takes the time to listen to your request and she won’t stop until she thinks her work is perfected. Her prices are unbeatable, the best in CLT!

Awesome awesome awesome. Alysia Polly Hair Studio is professional , Clean , Flexible Times and Friendly. I loved my results from yesterday 7/9/22. Alysia was Awesome. I requested a Keratin Treatment plus cut and I give the results a 5 Star. I will be back . My Hair is so smooth now. I literally had dry and frizzy hair. The picture does not give her work Justice. This picture I posted is after sleeping on my hair.

Awesome hair stylist. Punctual. Knowledgeable about hair, color, styles and cuts. Update: So I had an appointment at noon set up for tomorrow. I have also been burned before by another hair stylist. So I sent an email just now saying how much I was looking forward to our appointment at noon. I had to email between 2 and 4 times to get a response. When I did, she asked, can you come in at 3? I said at first sure!! After thinking about it, it dawned on me, if there was a problem with the time, why hadn't I been notified earlier? Why did it take initiative on my part to find out the appointment had to be changed? Why hadn't she reached out to me? After 4 emails asking why the noon appointment wouldn't work, she said, well I booked another person because you never got back to me. In reality, I had responded right away, on Saturday at 1:52, I had responded yes, noon would be great. Then she said, well, you never responded whether the price would work. I didn't know I had to since it wasn't a question around it. My time is precious, so me having to prod you as a business owner as to why my appointment has to be changed is extremely unprofessional. She told me not to be mad with her. The first red flag should have been the lack of communication. The lack of professionalism is unacceptable. If you're going to run a business, it needs to be easier to communicate and the job of the owner to give more notice on appointment changes. Do not go here. Save your sanity, time and money and go to a real salon with reviews on google.

This barber doing great woman hair cut here and my ends was cut pretty even. If you look for good barber in Charlotte - Alysia is right person. She did haircut for my son, and he likes it, also she gifted many butterflies to children, so not only mom but kids was happy. Thank you Alysia Polly! There is a reason Alysia has stellar reviews and that photos of her work look outstanding. She is methodical and deliberate in everything she does and I dare say she's a perfectionist! You will not be rushed and corners will not be cut. She gives her clients the time needed to get the perfect outcome. It's telling when you think you couldn't have been happier with your former stylist or colorist and then you go to Alysia and realize how much more there is to it. The fact that her salon is close to home and her prices are _really_ reasonable is just icing on the cake!

This is the best haircut I had in a long time. I highly recommend Alysia Polly Hair Studio, she is very professional and detailed oriented. I will only go to her from now on. FYI the studio is inside of Sola Salons (Suite 400). There are many independent salons, so make sure you go to her suite.

By far, the best haircut I’ve ever had. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Alysia was very kind and keen to detail. This isn’t a 2 minute rushed cut. Over the years I have been to many chain salons, always leaving with the feeling that I didn’t get the cut I wanted. Alysia gave me the hairstyle I desired, and didn’t push unwanted products. If you need a cut or style, do yourself a favor and book an appointment with her.

Definitely my new go to stylist! Alysia is incredible! Very sweet, listens to what I want and is super detail oriented. I enjoyed the whole experience, I like the privacy and that we're in one suite. Extremely professional at what she does and will definitely be coming again for some coloring!

My 8 year old son got his haircut for the first time with Alysia. She took her time and did a really nice job. Much better than going to Pigtails and Crewcuts where you never know what you are going to get.

Alysia is awesome!! I have always been terrified to get my hair cut, it’s all very anxiety inducing for me. Alysia made me comfortable and confident the entire time! The whole process was relaxing and enjoyable. Alyssa listened carefully to how I felt and what I wanted, and gave me amazing results. I am impossible to please and have never left a hair appointment with a smile on my face. This is the first time in my life that I left a salon and desired nothing more than to come back over and over. I was able to genuinely tell her that I was 100% pleased with my hair! I had an initial hair appointment with Alysia that was wonderful. I had been out of the country and hadn't had a haircut in 9 months, and my hair was in really rough condition. She went above and beyond to make it look healthy and fresh again and even spent extra time with me. The haircut was beautiful and held its shape for months, which I appreciate since I tend to be so low maintenance. Alysia also has a very sweet demeanor.

Alysia is the best stylist I’ve had cut my hair. She listens to what you want and makes sure that you leave her salon with exactly what you have asked for. She has cut my hair when it was very long and also done a fabulous job with a blunt bob, making sure that my hair is completely even. I would highly recommend her to anyone I know!

COURTNEY IS THE BEST!!!! I've lived in Charlotte for 10 years... I've never visited the same stylist since I moved here because I'm not happy when I leave... I know you can tell them, but its also the comfort knowing they will listen and fix it. Courtney will take the time to learn you and what you are wanting. She is SUPER nice, will talk to you while she cuts your hair (super important if you've ever had the silent stylist... THAT'S AWFUL!!) She is awesome at color as well. I've been going to her now for a year and won't go anywhere else.

My mom got me a Groupon for Haley at asalon and I am glad she did because Haley is great. She cut and colored it and the cut was great but the color wasn't cooperating with my hair so it didnt turn out like she wanted. So she asked me to come back so she can fix it which I think was great. I came back a week later and she redid my color and it came out like she wanted and I was pleased. They have a cute little bathroom there and everyone working their looked friendly.
