So excited I found Alyssa!! Was desperately in need of a cut and curl refresh and did not leave disappointed! Alyssa was very knowledgeable and a great resource to help me create a manageable routine that fits me and my lifestyle. I love Love LOVE that she sent a follow up email with the information/directions/specifics we talked about so I can refer back to it at home and remember what to do.

I had such an amazing time with Alyssa. She walked me through the process the entire time and gave me such amazing tips that I will 1000% be using. The atmosphere is great and I would so recommend going to see Alyssa if you have curly hair. My hair looks and FEELS so much better I’m baffled. Worth every penny seriously.

Alyssa was amazing! Our first planned appointment was canceled due to unforeseen circumstances but she was kind enough to schedule me past her usual business hours! The wash and condition experience was phenomenal and she gave me the exact cut I envisioned when I walked into the salon. I could not recommend Alyssa enough!

Alyssa was very pleasant and professional. Her space was clean and welcoming. This was my first curly cut and I was very pleased when I left her salon. This was my first professional curly haircut and I am blown away with how good my curls look. Alyssa took the time to listen to my concerns and goals. Then she gave me a dry haircut, conditioning treatment, and diffused blow dry. My curls have never looked so defined and healthy! I can’t wait to go back.

Alyssa was lovely and I enjoyed my time with her. The personalized experience was nice. I struggled with the haircut. I said I wanted to grow my hair out and left with short hair that will take me another year to grow out. I wear my hair naturally but alas left with a lot of product in my hair. I was hoping to avoid the experience of having my curls cut too short yet again 😭

Alyssa Monét is a wonderful salon for curly hair, which is located in Charlotte. Before you visit the salon, Alyssa Monét will communicate with you via text and email about your wants and needs for your upcoming curly hair appointment. After an in person consult about my curl pattern, I felt comfortable to have the following services: curl hydration, treatment, customize, curly cut, and a tutorial on how to maintain and keep my hair curly and healthy. In the near future, I will also have Alyssa work on my hair coloring. I am pleased with the services I received today at the Alyssa Monét Salon, and I will be making my next appointment very shortly.

Alyssa was very professional, explaining each step of the process. The space was clean, tidy and inviting. My hair turned out great and my curls looked amazing when she was done! The back of my hair, which normally looks frizzy and had blotchy color (trying to grow out gray after different color applications) looked so put together and smooth (I did not get color but some magic happened to make it all come together). If I won the lottery I’d have her do my hair every day. Highly recommend.

I had a fantastic experience with Alyssa - well worth the cost! I have been wearing my hair natural (curly) for years, but have always gotten haircuts at “normal” salons. Such haircuts were occasionally a hit, but more often left me feeling like they could have been better. And I disliked how the only thing that most stylists know how to do is just blow dry hair straight/ style with a ton of heat. I did some research on curly hair experts in Charlotte and found Alyssa to have the best reviews (and also the most reasonable price of services). This was still the most expensive haircut I’ve gotten so I was a little apprehensive going in. I’m so glad I booked it! Alyssa did an excellent job of giving me the haircut I wanted. She is super detail-oriented and asks a lot of questions before and during the appointment, which I loved. I showed her several photos of the haircut I wanted, as well as some things I didn’t want, and she did a great job of creating my vision. Alyssa didn’t mind, and in fact welcomed, my many questions about curly hair care, which I greatly appreciated. In addition to getting a good haircut, I wanted to learn about how to style my hair, and Alyssa taught me a lot. I’ve done a lot of my own research and have watched YouTube videos, but it was so different and helpful to have Alyssa style my hair. I’m sad that I’ll be moving elsewhere and won’t be able to easily visit Alyssa. If I am back in Charlotte and in need of a haircut, I will try to find some time on her calendar!

I had an amazing experience with Alyssa. I wasn’t sure what to expect with my dry, coarse, kinda curly kinda wavy kinda frizzy hair, but the end result turned out bouncy and curly and so cute! I’ll definitely be back!

From the moment I googled looking for a curl expert to help me with my journey in possibly finding my curls again after years of blow outs and treatments and it came up with Alyssa Monet's information I could not wait to get in to see her. I patiently waited on her wait-list and today was my consultation and she did not disappoint! While I was on the wait-list, she communicates with you along the way, getting to know you and what you're looking for. While I went in super nervous, I walked out confident and excited on getting my curls back because Alyssa prepared me and made me feeling amazing. Go see her!!

My experience with Alyssa was PHENOMENAL. From booking, to setting up the experience, the time in the salon and the cut/style itself. There was also discussion on what my goals for my hair were and what I could do to improve upon my routine at home to get the most out of my curls. Alyssa was super welcoming and chill and I had a great time. And I love how my hair turned out!!! Definitely recommend and will be back.

This is your sign to book an appointment with Alyssa. I LOVED my curly cut and color experience. My curly hair has never looked this healthy or this good. I came in with a not so great color job from previous salons and from color fading, but Alyssa was able to get the perfect color I asked for. After years of trying to find my go to person for my hair, I finally found her. Alyssa is so sweet and really teaches you how to take care of your hair out of the salon.
