At 60, I have been through many different colors, cuts and stylists due to moves. After moving to the area, I asked for recommendations for stylists. Amanda came very highly recommended. Amanda truly listens, and works with her clients. She is an expert at color and styling. Her pricing is very reasonable, and she is very kind and courteous. Highly recommend.

Amanda Guindon has consistently done a wonderful job on my hair for almost 2 years now. She has patiently worked with finding the perfect color care for my stubborn grey hair and roots. Amanda has taken great care of my hair, as well as my teenaged daughter’s. We’ve both been happy with our haircuts and appreciate Amanda’s explanation of the process it will take to achieve the desired style. Booking an appointment is easy, and we liked being able to get in for an early morning time slot for convenience.

Amanda is so gentle, honest, down-to-earth and just lovely and fun to be around. Equally wonderful with kids (she does my and my daughter’s hair), and her hubby, Tristan, does my son’s. Quick and easy to book appointments with, great atmosphere…we love the Guindons! Grateful we found them both.

Amanda is so knowledgeable and kind. She listens to my vision and gives me input. She has been the only person that has cut my hair exactly the way I ask. She is easy to talk to and I always leave the salon feeling amazing when I see her. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a hairstylist.

Amanda is super knowledgeable and creative! I really love going to her. She’s also a straight shooter. If you want to do something but she knows it will ruin your hair, or it will stick out weirdly (as with my various pixie iterations), she won’t let you. Yeah, it grows back, but isn’t it better if you don’t have to wait for that? Highly recommend!

I love coming to Amanda for my hair needs. She was able to correct a bad curly cut and help me plan for my next haircut. She gave me a hydration treatment that left my hair so soft and manageable. Recently, I booked her to give me “the chop” and she did amazing. Love the way she layered everything and thinned it out. Additionally, she is a make up artist! I booked her to do my make up for my boss’ birthday party and she also straightened my hair for the event. She was very detailed and made sure to ask if I liked it along the way. Plus, she worked with my time constraint. I recommend Amanda to be your next hair stylist. She’s great!

I've had many hairstylist and colorist in my time, but I must say Amanda is very knowledgeable and caring of her client's hair and styles. When I came to her for the first time, I needed a major fix up from a colorist that absolutely ruined my hair. Amanda was able to plan a timeline for which my hair could make it to where I wanted it to be, but without damaging my hair. I fully trust her work and recommend her for whoever is looking for a colorist.

I’d done some questionable things to my hair, more specifically the lower half of it. It was a sort of diy ombré, dark on top and super hot yellow/orange in places towards the bottom. When I went to Amanda Guindon’s salon for a consultation she first did a strand test to see if bleaching it any more would be safe. The strand basically coiled up and burned up and it was decided that we’d go for all over color instead. Rather than a false promise of trying to match some sample I found on social media, Amanda was really honest and came up with a way to keep the dimension I wanted with just color rather than attempting to something that could potentially ruin my hair. Amanda is very skilled and thoughtful in her technique and seems to take an approach that considers the unique condition of her client’s hair (or at least she did for me).

My 9 year old daughter and I hadn't cut our hair in a year. We tried Amanda on a recommendation and I am go glad we did! She did a great job on both of our cuts and styles.
