Wow! First time I visited to this hair braid salon and so in loved with their services. I did my braid and it looked so fire. Everywhere I go, people felt in love with my hair unexpected ways and can’t say enough to thank you for doing a braid to my hair. I will definitely come back with new style design.

They did an amazing job. I got thigh length smedium knottless braids . Great atmosphere made me feel very comfortable. Would go back again and recommend !

The best braiding experience I have had in recent times. I found Ruth through Google. She answered all my questions. She was professional and punctual. The appointment lasted about 6 hours. There was another woman assisting her with the braids for 4 hours. My hair came out amazing!

Very sweet , double checking to make sure the style is exactly what you want. She took me in at the last minute during the evening. I’m happy with my results and if I’m ever back in LA I would definitely come back to explore other braiding styles.

Awesome job. I absolutely love my braids. I went in to get loc extensions but my hair was not ready for the process. Ruth suggested I get it braided and give it some time to grow. As you can see my hair wasn’t even 4” and Ruth put her hands to work. I’ve got to say I expected to have this great big headache from getting braids because I’m super TENDER HEADED. But honestly Ruth did not hurt me at all. Braids are not TOO TIGHT . Saves me and hour for getting ready for work. Happy client. PS she’s super fast too! Very professional! Not always on the phone and taking breaks. Customer service is A1. UPDATE : I kept my braids for 4months . I decided to go with the twist this time.and add some color. I can do so many different styles with the twist, they feel so natural. Not too stiff. I truly believe Ruth has growing hands, look how much my hair has sprouted within 4 months time. I’m still on my loc journey and at this rate I will be ready soon. Thanks Ruth for your A+ customer service Happy customer.

This has been one of the BEST braiding experiences I’ve ever had. Ruthy did such great work— I asked for smedium boho braids, waist length, and that is exactly what I received. The parts are clean, the length is actually waist length and the braids are actually smedium. The hair is also very full without being too heavy (Ruthy also counseled on what would be best for my hair to avoid tension/heaviness).I haven’t had a Hairbraider who listens and provides what her client requested in SO long. Also, I appreciate the teamwork as Ruthy had a colleague helping finish the braids so we finished the style faster. This is the only Hairbraider for me going forward.

I got my hair braided last minute found Ruthy on yelp with excellent reviews. I got medium butt length knotless. Ruthy was professional, punctual, and got me in quick on a Saturday! They worked nonstop braiding my hair, came in and got straight to braiding. Offered water and snacks to me as well. I love my braids they came out so good and I will be back! I got so many compliments, my hair got heat damaged so this was a last minute appointment and I am not disappointed! I want to try boho next! I wore them in many styles on my family moon in Vegas!

If you're looking for gorgeous braids, RUN don't walk to Amazing African Hair Braiding. I'm very picky with my braids, and Ruth did them perfectly! I felt super comfortable and welcomed, and she made sure to execute the size and length I wanted. She's meticulous and makes sure every detail of your hair is perfect. Highly Recommend! I’m so happy I’ve met Ruthy she has really great customer service very attentive to calls and text. Her work is truly amazing! You’re definitely getting your money worth Her work is so neat. If you ask for small box braids you will definitely get small box braids! in literally half the time her sister Isabel was just as amazing as they worked together to complete my hair. I was very comfortable didn’t experience any pain. If she’d have me again in the future I will definitely be back. Price was really good for all of the hard work she put in giving me neat small waists length hair timing was awesome I had an appointment at 02:30pm she asked if I wanted to come early started at 12pm was completely done by 430pm if you’re in Los Angeles Looking for a truly experienced Braider Ruthy will not disappoint Thank you so much Ruthy and Isabel for servicing me you are amazing many blessings to you :)

It has been a while since I’ve had my hair braided and after calling around to several other salons and braiders I just couldn’t find the right person who had the patience or time to answer my questions. After discussing what I needed and texting a few pictures of what size wanted, we set the price, time and place. For bra strap length, medium box box braids, she was affordably priced and most importantly her professionalism made the experience great. I had planned on taking the day off however unfortunate circumstances didn’t allow me to. This meant I needed to take a couple calls and work throughout my appt while she did my hair. She accommodated my needs and not one person at work knew I was at the salon. Ruthy was fast! In 5 hours my braids were complete and incredibly neat. Perfectly spaced and my head felt LIGHT. She checked in to show me her progress and ensure I was happy with the length as she went. I’ve very careful to not include my edges and she made sure to leave them out and showed how much she would leave out to make sure I was happy. After moving to LA (from New York) it’s been hard to find a stylist that made me feel at ease and as look as my long time braider back home. I’ve finally found Ruthy and we made it official — she’s my new stylist!

Anyone leaving a less than 5 star review is not telling the truth. This was a great first time experience. Braiding was fast, neat and proper. I got compliments before I left the building! I polished my French and got prettier all in one session. My hair looks great and is exactly what I’ve always wanted. I knew I had to go to my people! Merci beaucoup pour mes jolis cheveux! 🫶🏾

Oh my goodness! Ruth did not disappoint at all. These are beautiful, small singles with bohemian curls and she did them so fast! Reasonable prices as well. Braids never too tight. She mixed different 2 red colors together to create my exact hair color. Blends so well 🥰🥹🙏🏽

I reached out and had a hairstyle in mind and wanted to know pricing. At first, the woman I was texting was very attentive and helpful. I asked a few questions about parting size prices, and which hair I should get. Everything went smoothly. The next day, I saw another cute style online that I might be interested in as well. I reached out an asked for the pricing on that one too, so I could compare between both styles and come to a conclusion about what I actually wanted come my appointment day. I didn’t ask complicated questions, I just simply wanted to know pricing to compare again. Whoever I was in contact with told me that my inquiries were too much for them, and to go to a different braider. Again, I didn’t ask anything crazy or overwhelming. Just pricing on another style, along with pricing for parting sizes. If you cannot communicate simple details without getting overwhelmed with a client then you shouldn’t be in business.

I was originally pleased with the services at this place when I first got my hair braided. However, due to how rude the owner was to me because I decided to find another braider because their prices are too high, I had marked down because of their unprofessionalism. Therefore for that, along with their prices and entitlement towards customers, I no longer recommend this place.

If you are looking for a BRAIDER who braids well, reasonable price and comfortable setting and know how to protect your edges. This is the shop you need to go. She braided my hair twice and when I say I love each time. I highly recommend her to anyone.
