My extensions are falling out within 6 days of getting a full set. I have about 50% or less lashes and I called to see what could be done. I understand their policy and not being able to get a refund just sucks that I payed for not even a full week of lashes. Unfortunately will not be returning

Updated ETA November 2024: Alicia has been manager for a bit now and is amazing!!! Tara is a love at the front desk!!! Stylists do come and go but they’re all pretty good :) no complaints nowadays and the vibe feels way less snotty mean girl :)) look forward to my visits! April ‘23: I received an email special from ALS in Feb and made a new appointment. I still wanted the lashes and so I decided to give them another chance. Booked the Southpoint location for a full set. Get a call ~3.5hrs before my appointment; stylist missed her flight and so I’d need to reschedule for the following day or for a different time at Waverly Place. While I was pretty miffed at the reverse cancellation (because I know full well that if I had been the one trying to cancel, my card would have been charged in full for the last minute cancellation, but I digress) I took the later in the day at Waverly. It’s taken a few appointments to figure out what I want and how to achieve the look. Overall the salon is clean and inviting, receptionists seem pretty cool and helpful and actually answer questions without sounding like you’re a moron for daring to ask. I’ve liked my lashes more each time as I’ve adjusted to wear and care for my lashes. The process has been inconsistent (good, great and bad) 3 visits in as far as comfort during application, application time/appt length, after application feel. Overall, I’m happy so 4 stars! May ‘22: Don’t waste your time. Unprofessional and poor customer service. I filled out a request online. They called the next day and setup an appointment for a few days later. On the morning of, I called to confirm. A young woman named Ciera (who refused to give me her name for most of the phone call) was unpleasant, incompetent. She sounded bored and kept asking if I was sure I was calling the correct location even after I verified it was. After asking about my appointment multiple times she finally found my appointment but let me know that they’d cancelled it without notice because they didn’t have my card on file. In the end: Nothing can be done, no one takes responsibility, I can try a different location or a future appointment and there is no manager for this location to speak with.

I have never written a bad review but I think this needs to be said. Be CAREFUL how they charge your account. Im out $210 from them. Originally I came in for my first time to get my lashes done. I went ahead and got the membership and then got my lashes done. The lash tech I had didn’t seem to like her job and I had asked her to help me find a shape to match my eyes the best and she didn’t help me at all. After 3 days my lashes were falling out horribly. I’ve gotten my lashes done at other places but this was not normal. I really didn’t want to make a big deal about it, so I just called them up to cancel my membership and just be done from there. They tell me I would have to pay to cancel the membership or I could pay a little more to get my lashes done again, and then I can cancel. I was annoyed but just went in anyway and got the lashes done. I then told the front desk lady I wanted to cancel my membership and she gave me a form to fill out. 3 months later I was charged each month $70 without me knowing until it was 3 charges later. I was hoping to explain to them that they accidentally charged my account and just for a refund since i hadn’t even step foot in their center. The manager just argued with me saying i signed some form to only “freeze” the account for 3 months. I was so confused because no where on the form did it mention anything like that. I now have to dispute these charges and feel so tricked. Such a freakin hassle for no reason. From someone that’s worked in the service industry for years I’m so disappointed by everyone’s unprofessionalism.

I came here a couple weeks ago & was nervous because it was my first time getting lash extensions ever. I was paired with Alicia and she made me feel so comfortable & explained the whole process to me beforehand. The lashes came out even better than I envisioned them & the customer service was A1. 10/10 definitely recommend booking with Alicia!!

I’ve had a membership at Amazing Lash in Cary (Waverly) since 2019 and have been very pleased with them. The staff and lash stylists are all top-notch at what they do. Because of my schedule, I’ve had several different stylists. Yet, every time, I get consistent results. The flexibility with scheduling and the membership benefits make looking good easy and affordable. Whether I’m saying hello to Kara to get checked in or having Tanner give me a refill, I’m always well taken care of and pleased with the results.

Let me just say that Alicia is amazing. I came here and I got the best customer service experience I could hope for. From the warmest welcome, to being explained everything from lash styles to memberships and pricing so well. I trusted her and she made me feel so comfortable before I even walked in with the lash tech. Alicia made my day and I hope her bosses know what a huge asset they have there. I will be returning just because of her!!!!

Taylor has been my expert lasher for more than 2 years!! She always is very professional and works with me to make sure my lashes are the best!!!! After coming to this location a few times and requesting the same look the young lady at the front desk had, which was full, a slight cat eye and not too long it was finally acomplished after I was told there are different levels of stylist. I won't say much more because once that information was given on my 3rd or 4th visit at the end of the service, I felt like they robbed me. After bringing it to their attention I was talked to very nasty, aggresively, and was given a form to cancel my membership. They could care less about how I felt at the end of the service. Not recommended.

Extremely disappointed with Amazing Lash Studio in waverly place. I’ve paid for a subscription for close to a year with no issues getting an appointment. The past 3-4 months have been horrible. I canceled my subscription because I didn’t see the point of paying $139 a month when I’m not able to get an appointment. Not sure if this is happening at other locations but waverly place has fallen off tremendously!!!! I can’t even get an appointment to get the remaining lashes removed. So I’ve resulted to plucking them out myself which is damaging my natural lash line. Their current schedule would work for people who work from home or don’t work at all. Super disappointing

I wasn't sure what to expect, but both the stylist (Kaylin) and customer.care rep helped guide me through selecting the best service for me (lash extensions vs.lift). For a busy, active.mom, I chose the lift and couldn't be happier!! Love the natural looking curl. Will definitely be coming back!

The lashes stay for a good amount of time they take care to keep them healthy. No matter the design and up charge for fuller looks they are still pretty thin and basic.Updated- this last visit gave me a fuller look but ripped me off. I was told I had a credit to use only to be charged 90 dollars. Membership or not expect to pay 50 dollars or more per visit on top of the monthly member charges. They tack on whatever they can and tell you this at the counter AFTER YOU HAVE RECEIVED SERVICE, BEWARE.

The staff at the Waverly Place location are the best! I am always greeted promptly with a smile and my lashes look amazing every time! Each stylist I’ve seen has done a great job and I never leave disappointed!

This place is not worth going too. I had an appointment with a "master stylist" named Kay, who was no master stylist at all. She is an African American lady who is a know it all that does horrific work. She is extremely impersonal and has a condescending over tone when addressing you. At the appointment I had questions that needed to be addressed which took about 10 minutes and she informed me that I had only 45 minutes left, OUT OF AN HOUR, for the appointment and she would do the best she could. I got home after the appointment and realized my eyelashes were extremely spacy and many lashes were falling out. I called Amazing Lashes the next day, and they told me that if I needed a fill I had to pay 30 dollars. I refused to pay for an unfinished job that was done only a day ago. Amazing Lash Studio is a predators! They have all these rules and regulations that don't make sense and all the while they are preying on your pockets. Don't waste your time on the 'master stylist" Kay, she is sub par and needs a lesson in how to engage with the public. RATING, 0.

WORST experience. I’ve gone to this studio for years. I drive 90 minutes each way for my appointments. The last (and final) time I got a full set, added extra lashes, and gave the master tech a $40 tip. Hours after my appointment, my eyes were blood red, watering nonstop, swollen, and burning. I paid hundreds of dollars for this service because I had a very important event to attend. I couldn’t attend because of this situation. I had to spend money on medical eye treatment, lay on my back for hours with a warm compress covering my eyes, and lost money on my reservations because I couldn’t leave my home in that condition. Naturally I called the studio, but they ignored my concerns. After speaking with the receptionist, a staffer, AND a manager (three separate calls), plus two emails….they blew me off! The manager said she couldn’t see my account - even though the other two employees could - then said she would have ANOTHER employee call me. This was after I sent her photos of my burning, bloodshot, swollen eyes. The fourth (made up) person never called me. Amazing Lash Studio has forever lost a longtime customer. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

the lash techs are racist & so is Kelsey the regional manager or whatever she claims to be, terrible service, & nobody in there can do lashes, embarrassing establishment & overpriced for awful lashes & unnecessarily rude employees, find a new career.
