The moment you set foot in one of our Amazing Lash Studio in Chicago, IL, you know you are in the right place. Our contemporary studio designs welcome you with a bright, comfortable lobby where you will complete some initial documentation to help your stylist customize your style. You will be greeted by your licensed lash stylist and escorted to your private suite. That’s right, a private suite so you can relax and unwind while our stylists do their magic. Your stylist will review your documentation and discuss the look you are seeking. Together you will review the proprietary lash styles and determine the length and thickness of your lashes. Next, you get comfortable on our cushioned massage tables and the stylist begins their magic.

Pros: My lash tech is friendly and welcoming, and the location is well maintained/convenient. Cons: Unfortunately, the front desk staff is unprofessional and lacks proper customer service training. The service agreement contains typos, which feels unprofessional for a business. Most importantly, the lashes simply don’t last. While the lashes look great initially, they start shedding significantly after about a week. If you’ve had lash extensions before, you know they should last 2-3 weeks before needing a REFILL. However, after just two weeks, I was told they would schedule me for a full set instead of a standard refill—despite being part of their membership. When I questioned this, I was given a vague explanation that the lash tech would assess whether I had at least 50% retention. If not, I’d be charged for a full set. This raised a red flag—why would I need a full set so soon if the lashes were applied properly and with quality materials? I scheduled my next appointment exactly two weeks and two days after my last, and a similar conversation happened again. The solution they suggested? Booking a mini refill in between appointments—which essentially confirms that the studio knows the lashes don’t last beyond a week. This is frustrating because their membership offers a once-a-month appointment, yet it’s impossible to maintain your lashes that way. Realistically, you need to visit at least twice a month (every two weeks is pushing it as you are at their discretion of deciding if you have 50% retention or not), or even weekly if you opt for mini refills. This structure creates unnecessary stress and additional costs, making the membership feel misleading.

Matthew is amazing! He really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted in lash extensions and he executed it flawlessly. 💕Additionally, he ensured I was comfortable during the service and happy with the finished product. The other lash technicians there are alright even rude/unprofessional at times so I highly recommend that you ask for Matthew.

My lash tech was absolutely incredible and did an amazing job—I couldn’t be happier with their work. However, the receptionist’s behavior was shockingly unprofessional. She spent the entire time I was there on the phone with her friends, carrying on a loud conversation at the front desk that was disruptive throughout my 90-minute visit. On top of that, she forgot to check me in with my lash tech, leaving me waiting for 15 unnecessary minutes. While I initially chose to let these issues slide, I was appalled when she later called me after I left and spoke to me in a rude, snappy tone simply because I hadn’t answered her first call. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and I believe her behavior is a poor reflection of the business. It may be time to reevaluate whether she is a suitable fit for her role.

I've been a member for almost two years (monthly membership $169 that's $2,028 yearly). I also get weekly touch up that range from $45 to $60 in addition to the monthly fee. I've never cancelled an appointment nor do I show up late. Last Friday (7/12/24) I made a last minute appointment for 5:00pm, unfortunately, I was detained at work and called to inform them that I was running late. The rude receptionist said "it's like 15 minutes before your appointment, you can't reschedule and you will be charged the full $79 for a no show service fee. No reasonable accommodation was even considered given my loyalty to this particular branch. This is the second extremely poor customer service experience I've had with this establishment and it's unfortunate that they would allow her behavior to continue. I'm closing my account due to the unprofessional practices.

This place is a total SCAM! I had a very disappointing experience at this lash salon. I purchased a Groupon for a full set of lashes with a two-week refill. After getting my initial full set on June 13, I made an appointment for the refill with the front desk, confirming that July 1st would be acceptable. However, when I arrived for the refill, they refused to honor my Groupon, stating I was four days past the two-week period. Despite explaining that I had confirmed the date with their staff, they insisted it was my fault for not adhering to the terms of the Groupon. As a business, they should have corresponding responsibility to inform customers if there is any deadline they have to come in by especially when they know that I am using a Groupon!! The girl at the front did not communicate that with me at all at the time of making my 2 week refill appointment. When I tried to explain that to the other girl she said it was my fault for not following the terms. This was my first time there, and unlike other places, they showed no flexibility or courtesy for just going few days above. Additionally, the quality of service was very poor. My initial set of lashes started falling out within five days, leaving me with barely any lashes. The refill was equally disappointing, with gaps in my lashes and continued shedding. I ended up paying more for a subpar refill than I did for the initial full set. The staff, particularly the front desk, were rude and unhelpful, failing to provide clear information about the terms. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are many other small businesses that offer better quality services at reasonable prices. This place exhibits poor quality work and lack of ethics. DO NOT GO HERE!! EDIT - I did NOT wait until after 2 weeks to call and make my appointment. I made it right then and there with the girl right after I got my initial full set. She didn’t mention it once to me that I won’t be able to use the groupon. She was just on her phone the entire time and did not communicate any such thing to me. I couldn’t come in within 3 days because I got my lashes done for a out of state wedding event that I was attending and by the time I came back I thought I’ll just get it done when I go for refill. Life happens. But this place shows no flexibility or courtesy to rectify their mistake. Instead they just go based of from their agreement which they make you sign. That’s where the SCAM starts. Be AWARE!

Lashes fell out before 24 hours. Also I showed a picture and the final result looked nothing like the picture. Called and they said what I showed them wasn't what they can offer.... I had like 20 other photos I could have showed them but was never told they couldn't do it what I showed them or told to show them another photo. Was just told it would be $60 dollars more which I didn't care about the price. All of my lashes except for 4 lashes have stayed on and its only been 5 days. This has never happened in all the years of getting lashes.

Personally would never go here again or recommend…prices are extra & it was rushed and one eye had much less lashes than the other side looking uneven. She didn’t follow what I asked & I needed a fill after less than a week. If you need a solid place check out Eyelashworks west loop - I will never go anywhere else they’re amazing…finally found a place to go back to

Been a client since January, and have always been happy with the lash service provided, so I signed up for the bi-monthly membership program which includes 2 classic refills per month for $129 per month. However, the membership program has so far proved to be much more trouble than it's worth; each time I visit the receptionists I've interacted with seem to be confused about my billing date/cycle, how much my service costs, what kind of service I receive, etc resulting in MY having to explain to THEM their OWN membership program. From my perspective, it would be a more seamless experience for both the clients and staff if notes were in a shared system regarding the client's membership, lash preferences, and billing date, and the method of payment on file was simply debited the $129 amount once per month for 2 refills per month? For example, I paid 80$ for a classic refill today. Not sure how that math works out if $129/2= $64.50.

This place is very bad. I would not recommend it to anyone. I wish I had listened to the bad reviews and my instinct. First let me say the quality of service is very inconsistent. I can also say that management is poor as well. I stated a concern and it was basically disregarded. I think its really funny these good reviews that are popping up. I realize not everyone may have shared my same horrible experience. I can't help but notice how the owner or manager goes into overtime trying to get good reviews posted. Let me say this...this location tried to solicit me to post a good review and offered an incentive for doing so. I got my eyelashes done for the first time ever at this location last week. My consultant Sana was a “master” and I asked her a few questions to help make the decision for type and size - she wasn’t warm at all and said I wish you did your homework and made me feel uncomfortable about my first experience. I felt my eyes looked uneven and not as full as I wanted - I called to ask about an adjustment. They said it would be a charge (50% of full price!) after 3 days, I had left for a weekend trip so upon my return they couldn’t do anything for me. As a first time client - I wouldn’t be returning again and would take your money else where.

This location is the worst. They billed my account after canceling my membership and didn't want to give a refund. The manager was very rude and nasty. Their work was very subpar. I think it can depend on who you get. Don't waste your money here with these theives.

Absolutely the worst location of the entire franchise. I used to be a FAITHFUL customer until I realized they couldn’t keep Black master stylists to save their life. I started going to another location instead and am much happier. Meanwhile, the Streeterville location has only gotten worse. After a fraud incident, I had to get a new card. This location claims they didn’t have the information and that my autopay went unpaid for months. Despite this, I NEVER received a single phone call, text message, email, letter, or any type of written notice. I was also able to continue being serviced so I had no idea. It wasn’t until 2 weeks ago that suddenly they wouldn’t allow me to use any credits. When I called to inquire, that’s when I found out the issue. As if that weren’t enough, today I called to pay the balance and ensure there’d be no issues at my next appointment, only to learn they’d terminated my account without ANY notice whatsoever. The manager is terrible. Rude, unprofessional, and untruthful. She claimed that she’d called me a couple weeks prior however, I was the one who called her from the other location. That was the ONLY way I had any idea about any account issue, only for the manager to terminate my account less than 2 weeks later and without any notice AGAIN? I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism in my life and I have seen plenty as a corporate attorney. Don’t spend your money at this location. The others are better.

I'm a new customer who made an appointment four days in advance this morning. This store has such a strict late policy for their customers and they themselves don't keep time at all. I had a nine o'clock appointment and I've been waiting for an hour. It's completely ruined my thanksgiving vacation. I had everything planned according to the time. I stood outside in the cold for an hour. I'm from Wisconsin, and I booked the Hilton next door for convenience! Please don't come back to this place. Just let it go out of business. disgusting!

had a bad experience. I came here for a FILL-IN and was charged $160. that’s outrageous, that is the price of a full set! on top of that, majority of my lashes came off within 48 hours. also, the lashes that the tech used to fill my set were WAY shorter than the extensions I already had when I came in. so it looked bad, and my eyes did not match. I was very disappointed and I feel like I was ripped off. the tech rushed the appointment, she literally finished in about 40 minutes. I wish I could get my money back. also, the receptionist was dry. when I arrived, the door was locked. she walked to the door, unlocked it and walked away. couldn’t have been more welcoming, I guess? lol. will not be returning here.

Erica at the front desk was a kind delight. I went with the natural. It is taking some getting used to, but I'm getting compliments, so yay. I did get jabbed in the eyelid once or twice, and it's not the most comfortable thing to do for 90mins, but I'll come again.

I've been coming to this location for years, and they just keep improving. I love this place and their staff. The manager Daniel is friendly, very professional and patient. I had a few different lash stylists and they all have been good, however this last lash stylist Calyle was amazing! ☺️ Not only she is very professional, patient has a very positive vibe and attitude she makes my lashes last for over a month. I have no idea how but with her it is over a month with lashes, (perfect lashes) Her work is perfect and I'm truly short on words on how to describe the experience at this location, all I can say it's called amazing lash for a reason (they are the reason)😍 I recommend this place 100% The service and staff are right on point I can't imagine a better place.

My review continued: After ten more minutes of this the front desk lady told me she would let this time slide and I could get my lash refill. At this point we were 20 minutes in to my appointment and I asked if I would still get a full hour or if I should reschedule as it did not seem like they wanted to do my lashes today. They then said in a super rude way that no I would not get a full hour but they would see what they could do in the little time they had left. I go back in the room and lay down again and my lash consultant has such a bad attitude and vibe and did not say one word. The situation felt so off I got up again and just said I would not like to have her do my lashes and that I do not feel comfortable. She says fine and that “she had a problem with me” which is completely ridiculous because despite this being a very horrible experience I totally kept my cool and was not rude in anyway to her or the other woman. I go back out and the front desk lady says that I will now get charged two cancelation fees because technically now I am canceling this appointment with no notice by leaving. I ask to speak with a manager and she says she basically is one and I say no I want to speak with the real manger. She informs me the manager Daniel just left but will call me. I leave quickly because I am in shock because of what just happened and how poorly I was treated. After about twenty minutes I call them to confirm the manger will call me and she basically argued with me more on the phone. Like I said I have been to other locations and have gotten my lashes done through Amazing Lash Studio for three years. I am very knowledgeable about the cancellation policies and procedures. I have never no showed to an appointment. All the other locations I have been to are wonderful but this one has major issues and should be looked at. DO NOT GO HERE FOR LASHES!!!!

Horrible service.. I kept being charged after cancelling my membership. It has happened so many times and it’s so annoying I need to call them over and over again about the same issue. But every time I call, no apologies whatsoever and they are SO RUDE. It just ruins my day.

I cancelled my membership and they continued to charge me for MONTHS. When I called about it the first time they said they needed to listen to the recording and would call me back and also said "how did you not notice the charges". I have multiple credit cards and I should not be worrying about monthly charges from them when I cancelled my membership. They did not call back so I called. Every time I was told I would get a call back from a manager and never did. Finally, they issued me a refund for 3 months of the service and said I would need to dispute the rest with my credit card company. Completely unacceptable service and good luck canceling your membership. Make sure to monitor your cards closely, apparently since you need to with them.

Loved loved my experience. The ambiance in the facility is lovely. Check in was easy. As a first time client they led me through picking my lash style. Didn’t even know that was a thing! My stylist was friendly, professional, and just a sweetie. She was knowledgeable about after care and sold me on the products to help take care of my lashes. I’ll definitely be back. Not to mention I went to the wrong location (Lincoln Park) for my appointment 😅and they called this location (Streeterville) to let them know and they were STILL able to fit me in. Thank you ladies!
