Jin is by far the best nail tech I’ve ever been to! Very first time visiting, I did not get Jin and was not satisfied with my nails. The manager took care of me, had Jin re do my nails and I’ve been very happy since! Highly suggest requesting Jin.

Came and got a mani/pedi done & acrylics. First off the woman charged me $130 & basically tricked me into paying it. I asked her for the cheapest option and said I didn’t want gels & she said “it’s the same thing”. I blatantly said I don’t want gels & she gave them to me anyway. So my bill was $130. Completely ripped off & I’ve had 3 nails fall off after 3 days. Both pinkies are longer than the others & the paint looks clumpy. Never coming here again. Plus the ring finger just looks insane

My daughter and I visited on 1/18/25. We had basic pedicures. I had Pauline and she was phenomenal! My daughter's technician was kind but didn't work on her calises. We didn't get polish so there was plenty of time to address calises (my tech did). I even politely asked her if perhaps she could focus on her calises. The owner/manager was walking by and immediately interjected himself into the conversation. He assured me she would. So, she got out the grater, put a clear product on it and wiped it on her calises. She rinsed them and let the water out. She never grated her calises..at all. My daughter wouldn't say anything. I paid them and tipped them both. Before leaving I politely approached the owner/manager and shared that he may want to educate the technician. He immediately called her to the front (in front of customers) and asked her if she used the grater. She said she did. Then he said he saw the grater and it was dirty. I made it clear I wasn't asking for anything (refund, discount, ect) but her calises weren't grated. He said I'LL GO LOOK AT THE CAMERAS! I told him that was fine but he wasn't listening. He was so rude and defensive. I was talking quietly and was very kind and he made a spectacle of it. I was so upset. I called after I left and shared how embarrassing that was and how poor his customer service was. The person on the phone apologized. I shared that we had been there multiple times and never had an issue and reiterated I wasn't asking for anything, other than the tech receive instruction. My goal is for him to see this review and reeconsider his approach with reasonable customers. The review is strictly related to his conduct, not toward the technicians in any way. They were very kind. I felt horrible when he called her to the front...ugh. I'm sure there are people who complain to get money back or a discount, I get that. But, again, I asked for nothing.

This salon is hands down my favorite and it is conveniently located! I originally went there because they were the only salon in the area that had SNS polish. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that not only do they have some SNS polish, they have every color that the SNS line offers!!! I've also been there for pedicures and was not disappointed- splurge and go for the ultimate, you won't be disappointed! On the weekday afternoons that I have been there I never waited more than 10 minutes for a walk in. If you're going on the weekend however, I recommend calling ahead and making an appointment.

I come to Ambiance in Eastgate almost monthly for a fabulous nail experience. They are even great with my young daughter who has a great time getting her nails done. Quality work, excellent customer service, fabulous experience!

I have come here a few times but this time I was a little disappointed with how rushed my manicure was. I understand the quick turn around but I wasn’t happy with the lack of awareness being done on my nails and the massage, lotion, and hot towel lasted 10 seconds each. For an up charge, I would have expected at least a bit more time. And I am very respectful with tipping and fair pricing but the reaction I received when I tipped based on the service I got was also disappointing and not sure why they were expecting more when I got less… not very happy with the service today.

I went in for a deluxe pedicure with my cousin, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. My service was done by Jaceline, and the paint job was extremely disappointing—something I’d expect from my 10-year-old sister, who has no nail experience. The service felt rushed, and when I tried asking a question about payment, her response came across as rude. When I went to the front desk to request a cotton ball to remove the polish, Jaceline suddenly reappeared, acting much sweeter. She had another technician, Lynn, remove the polish for me. Lynn had done my cousin’s pedicure, and her work looked better—she was professional and kind. I would have loved for Lynn to repaint my nails, but since she wasn’t the original technician, I opted to redo the color myself at home instead. Overall, the experience with Jaceline was somewhat frustrating, but I’d recommend Lynn for her good work and customer service.

I’ve been going to Ambiance on 32 East for almost a year. Everyone is always so sweet and professional. Susan and Nary are some of my favorite nail techs. The establishment is always very clean and well kept. I love my nails every time I come, and if I ever do have anything I want to change about them, the techs will always make sure that I am satisfied with everything.

This was my first time at ambiance and I’ll never be back. I asked to get a master tech when I requested my appointment as I have OCD and want them to be nearly perfect. Upon my arrival I was told they didn’t have any available at the time. So I ended up standing there for about 10-15 minutes while the girls at the front desk were asking if they could do the design I wanted which wasn’t very hard. One of the nail techs eventually told me they could do the design so I sat down with him. To say the least, the first picture was what I wanted and the second picture was what I got. I also want to say that a couple of the nails are literally on top of my cuticle. When I told the ladies at the desk that I wasn’t happy with them they looked at them and said “I think they’re cute” which may be their opinion and as a paying customer they are not to me and definitely not what I asked for. They didn’t even offer me any discount and I wasn’t going to sit there and be a Karen so I paid and left. They should not be advertising pictures that they’ve clearly gotten off the internet and cannot actually do. So after paying $160 for my nails and a pedicure I have to turn around and go pay another $75 to get them taken off carefully and replaced by a properly qualified nail tech. Needless to say I’m not happy with my experience. If you’re okay with wonky nails this is the place to go.
