IF you can get a hold of someone to schedule an appointment, then you can get a decent haircut. I say “if” because after multiple attempts to call and email, I was ignored. Really disappointing.

I’ve come here twice, first time for a men’s haircut and highlights, second time just for the haircut. Both times with Kenji. All I can say is that this has been the most professional and consistent experience I’ve had with a stylist. Kenji has incredible attention to detail and remembered what I wanted after just coming once. My haircut has literally never been more perfect. Also the salon is very clean and their shampoo station is just so comfy and feels like a spa. Highly recommend for any guy wanting a high-quality men’s haircut/coloring/styling experience.

My girlfriend was devastated when she went back to Nanana Parena to get a haircut just to realize that her favorite hairstylist (Hidemi) no longer work there. She later found out that she had moved to this salon. This hairstylist is very patient with her clients and listen to their needs. She is honest with her work and very friendly 💯👍🏼. I totally recommend Amity hair!

I have been digital perms from Hidemi for the past 9 years. I have followed her from salon to salon and will always follow her because she is, hands down, the BEST when it comes to digital perms as well has haircuts. Not only is she extremely detailed, she will listen to what you want and then give you what you want, which is more than I can say for most hair stylists. Also, she is the most honest hair stylist I have ever met. If she thinks your hair would be too damaged after a digital perm, she will tell you so instead of just doing it and taking your money. As you can tell, I am a huge fan of Hidemi and every person who has gone to her based on my recommendation agrees that she is the best! Highly recommend!!!

After months of searching for a hair salon, I finally found one that met my expectations. My stylist, Hidemi, is incredibly skilled and attentive. She took the time to consult with me about what I wanted and then offered suggestions based on my hair type. The haircut turned out great, and was exactly what I wanted. You'll be in good hands with Hidemi. She listens to your hair goals and makes sure you are comfortable throughout the process. Highly recommend :)

Not only was my haircut amazing, but Hedimi was very friendly and fun to talk to! Always wonderful experience when visited Hedimi. The salon is also beautiful and I feel comfortable while I’m there.

I had my hair highlighted and also covered my grays by Hidemi. My colors are looking very natural and she covered all my grays perfectly !! 🙌🏼 her shampoo skills are amazing and I felt like I was at the spa! Strongly recommend.

My wife has been getting her hair cut by Hidemi for years now and I went yesterday for my second visit. Every cut/perm we've received from her has been fantastic and always exceeds our expectations. On my first visit, she professionally separated, cut, and bagged my hair for donation. The whole process was seamless and the resulting haircut was excellent as well. Additionally she is very kind and understanding. I usually go to her with only a vague notion of what I want, but she manages to figure it out. Hidemi ensures your requests and concerns are heard, and takes the time to really understand what you want. She uses her experience to work with you to find the style that will realistically work for your hair type. She also works delicately, yet with attention to detail - always considering how your hair will grow over time, and offers tips and advice for continued maintenance. It may not be the absolute cheapest hair cut around, but I feel it is certainly worth it! ありがとうございました！またよろしくね！

I booked an appointment with Hidemi upon recommendation from a friend. I am a person who often struggles with choosing what style or color would work best for my hair texture (thick and tends to get frizzy), so I needed a hair stylist who could help recommend good suggestions based on their experience. Hidemi did exactly that! She asked me questions to understand what I had liked before and what I struggled with in terms of my hair. She then did a great job of checking with me about her suggestions before going ahead with the color and cut. Overall, I was also very pleased with how thoroughly she applied the color without taking too long. The hair wash and conditioning was luxurious, with even a hot towel on my neck like the spa. I was also impressed with how efficiently Hidemi cut my hair - getting the right shape and then adding texture to lighten up all the weight from my thick hair. On top of that, Hidemi was very kind in her conversation. I’ll definitely be coming back in a few months to get my next cut and color! The salon itself is minimal with a Japanese/Asian aesthetic. Not cluttered in the main seating and hair styling stations, which was kind of refreshing compared to many of the cramped hair salons I’ve been to previously. Bathroom was also clean and well kept. The hair washing stations had very comfortable chairs and managed to not put too much pressure on my neck. Logistical notes: Parking was easy in the lot when I arrived mid-afternoon on Friday. But by the time I left, valet was needed to move around the double parked cars.

I love coming here for haircuts by Hidemi. She listens to exactly what I want and does an excellent job. When I first came here, she even fixed a bad haircut I had gotten somewhere else. The salon is very clean and friendly.

Highly recommend coming here! Found Hidemi is here and so happy to be reunited with her. I can trust how she handles my hair (thick, heavy and wavy) for straight perms and haircuts. Another client called her so the salon owner even rolled up his sleeves to help and they analyzed my perm’s progress together! I appreciate the care and attention to detail. The teamwork was noticeable and I am so happy with the results. Thanks again!

いつも丁寧で満足度の高いサロン。 今度ヘアカラーの天才、けんたろう、なおこ、2人も入ってくるみたいです。東京の超有名店で修行した方々で日本チャンピオンになり世界ベスト4にも選ばれた腕の持ち主達。 実際にカラーをしてもらって肌の色に合わせたパーソナルカラーや繊細なハイライトカラーが上手でした。白髪をぼかしたい人やハイライトカラーのデザインを楽しみたい人にオススメします！ カラーリストにしか出来ない3年後5年後の未来の育てていくヘアカラーも提案してくれたので一生お願いしようと思いました。 ソウテルの街にカラーリストが居るなんて嬉しい☺️またお願いします！

Best hair salon in Westside. I have been a customer of Amity Hair for last several years. Once I had a hair cut by Kenji, I never wanted to look for other hairstylist. He is very very skilled and experienced, and super detail oriented. I highly recommended for a hair cut, root touch up, hair highlight, keratin treatment. His shampoo is gem! My teenage daughter is also a customer since she was 8, and just had a hair cut and hair color/highlight by Kenji today, and she is very happy with a new hairstyle. Highly recommend.

日本語が通じて日本人の方に切っていただけます。カットで頼んだときも、ミニヘッドマッサージをつけてもらって気持ち良かった。 ヘッドスパのみ（１時間弱？）で訪問したことも。こちらは頭皮をすっきり洗ってもらったあとに、スチーム。念入りにマッサージで、しばらく髪がいつもより元気だったきがする！
