My daughter has a ridiculous amount of hair, and is very particular about how she likes to style it! This place has done an amazing job not only with her hair, but also managing a teenager sky-high expectations of “tik tok” approved hair! It’s pricey but you get very good advice, hair products and quality of service!

I walked in without an appointment and was fortunate to get Isaac. He didn’t just give me a haircut, he styled a new hairdo and look for me. I have thin hair, I’m over 70, and the cut is chic. He is a very skilled hairdresser and definitely capable of doing classic trims and cuts as well. He’s a find!

I usually come to Amour de Hair for a blow dry with Giulia, who I enjoy as she’s very quick. However, I am really not a fan of the salon and will not be returning. I once had to have a blow dry with someone else who charged me more than my normal service, and now I am stuck paying the higher price because they claim that they pull the last price from the system. However, the woman before me who got the exact same service from the same person paid less, and they plug in the price manually. They also overcharge for updos (extra $100 dollars on top of the blowout cost) and tried to make me pay extra once because the stylist used a curling iron on my bangs only, which I did not even request. They also always try to upsell you on services which I find unprofessional. While it is a quick service I do think they try to rip you off, and I will no longer be going here.

Love my hair! Giulia is brilliant, such a great technique with my highlights and balayage. Also always love my blow dry. Great to move to NYC and find my trusted hairdresser for the last year.

Great from start to finish! Warm welcome into the salon, the shampooer had the best pressure, and the haircut was exactly what I wanted. Bring cash for tip though! Isaac was great, I’d highly recommend coming here!

I had a great experience with Isaac. I came in for their haircut and shampoo special. Which is a great deal btw! Isaac listened carefully to all the things I wanted to do with my undercut and my hair, and he did such a great job executing my request. He went above and beyond in delivering the haircut that I wanted. I will be coming back for my next haircut!

Julia was great! My first here and she cut + colored (balayage) my hair + blow dried my hair. They took pictures hopefully they upload it so you can see it’s not just me. I was in and out in 2 hrs. I’ll definitely go again.
