I went about 6 months ago, they damaged my hair, I’m still losing my hair. Before I posted a bad review and they said that I have to erase that if I want them to fix my hair, I erased it and they just gave me a cream to fix my hair. I’m posting this review again because right now im in a dermatology treatment for my hair after I went there.

I was a walk in. The customer service is excellent. Reception was very attentive to what I wanted/ my budget and provided me with options. My hair was done by Sonia. She is very skillful and welcoming. No hesitation to go back.

Such a nice place!!! I had a great experience with Marie😍Her hands are magical!!! My hair got look like I never had before -stylish and cool looking!!! 👩‍🦳I love her professionalism also and attitude-the way how she’s treating clients! Ada gave me the hair that I wanted, she is very friendly and talented! I showed her a picture and she matched exactly what I asked for. You can see in the photos how brassy and overgrown my roots are and I’m so happy to have such bright and blonde hair for my birthday. Thank you Ada! :) another thing I like about this salon is that they are very transparent about prices and fees, which stands out from other salons I’ve visited, who give you a quoted range that is much lower than your total due to hidden fees or services. This salon breaks down all of the pricing and specific range so you aren’t surprised when you pay the bill. This makes me feel confident in their business practices. I’ll be returning for all of my hair needs!

Gala has been my hair stylist for around 8 years. She is extremely talented and hard working. Her work is excellent. I always feel glamorous after she works her magic of highlights, haircuts and a nice blow out. 10/10.

I had a great experience with Mariami. Not first time at the salon, but first time with Mariami and fully satisfied with my excellent result done by her. Great, pleasant staff as always:) forgot to ask the name of the girl who washed my hair prior, but she was very nice too.

I had an incredible blowout by Ely!! She was so sweet and really took the time to create the perfect hair style. Highly recommend! Also the rest of the staff were so nice. Can’t wait to come back!

Had the most amazing and comfortable experience with Tanya. She did a consultation to find out specifically what I was looking for and continued to check in throughout the process. I enjoy the friendly nature of the staff as well and it's definitely very clean and a relaxing experience. My hair looks absolutely beautiful from what it was to the extensive bouncy layers she added. I will be returning, thank you very much ^_^

Georgie was so so good!!! He is friendly, approachable, listens to your wants and executes them flawlessly. I would recommend him to anyway!! I feel so beautiful after his cut and style!

I have found my new hair stylist! John listens, really listens to your requests and the results are wonderful. Yesterday John gave me high and low lights and a superb cut. He is an extraordinary artist. And... He has a great personality. A shout out to Svetlana who gives the best shampoo ever. This is an update to my earlier review. Went back with a slight color issue which was solved to my satisfaction. Thanks to John for his skill and understanding. And many thanks to receptionist Sarah for her professional and sympathetic ear. Great customer service.

Love this salon! Have been getting my hair done by Abdel for over a year now and I love how it comes out each time. He also listens very carefully to any concerns you have about your hair and makes appropriate recommendations for hair care outside of the salon. My hair health has Improved overall since I began seeing him and haven’t gone to anyone since!

I have recently moved to UES and was on the lookout for a new stylist, which (as I’m sure most women know) is a risky endeavor in itself. I have avoided this doubtful pleasantry for as long as I could, but finally the time has come when even an up-do couldn’t hide the mess my hair has become. I passed by this salon daily and, thanks to the ginormous windows, paid close attention to different hairdressers and their work. One afternoon I have finally decided to come in and schedule an appointment with a stylist whom I secretly stalked through the said windows in the last 2 months- and that’s how I met John. He seemed genuinely passionate about his work and I could tell he’s experienced, just by watching his methodology. John has been taking care of my hair for the past 6 months and I must say that it never looked better. Each time he creates this perfect shade of blonde, that I get frequently asked whether it’s my natural hair color. I also appreciate that he takes your hair’s health seriously and always aims to do least amount of damage possible. Oh, and half an inch is always half an inch with this guy! You won’t leave with a mullet, after asking for a “little trim” 😂. I am so happy to have found my new stylist!

🌟 A Shoutout to the MOST AMAZING Hair Salon 🎉 I walked in because it looked so great from outside. Wanted to fix a bad color i had somewhere else. I showed Beatrice a picture and she transformed my hair completely, and i fell in love again with my hair .Also thanks to the receptionist for squeezing me in the last minute , and thanks to the assistant for giving me the best head massage, i love the way my hair felt and smelled after the Oribe treatment.

I always walk by this salon and today I decided to get a cut. This is the best haircut i’ve gotten in a long time!!! Tanya was fabulous, very sweet and communicated with me throughout my cut. I am so glad I came in, would highly recommend! Ask for Tanya, especially if you’re cutting curtain bangs or bangs in general.

I have been looking for someone to trust with my hair for a long time and I finally found the best! I've used Gio as my colorist for over 2 years and he’s amazing! So amazing I followed him to Amour De Hair. He always listens and gives the best advice. He is a true artist and super professional. Highly recommended place, everyone was kind and super nice from the moment I walked in.

I have finally decided to leave a review for the services I’ve been receiving from John. I have followed him from Broadway location to the East Side, even though it’s a hell of a trip from where I live at the moment. I enjoy experimenting with my hair, having tried every possible color and style imagined and John had never disappointed. I went through a phase of bleach blonde highlights, moment of sun-kissed ombrés and a whole era of bold colors (pink, purple, lavender, emerald and dark blue to date) and I have always been not only happy with the results but there’s actual hair still attached to my head, which is a miracle in itself considering what I’ve put it through. Additionally, he gives KILLER haircuts (I think even better than the color lol). Seriously, he’s great with the scissors- so much that even my fiancée usually notices the change (while remaining blissfully oblivious to all other forms of metamorphosis, including the time I went PURPLE from dark blonde and yes, I wish I was joking). I do appreciate John’s blunt honesty regarding achievability of a desired color/style and how it will affect the state of my hair. I have sent my mom and best friend to get their hair done by John and they became regulars now. As with everything in life, you can’t possibly please everybody- a positive experience of one person does not guarantee same level of satisfaction for another. Nevertheless, I hope that you will be as happy as I am, if you decide to give John a chance. Just trust the process and let his creativity and skills speak for themselves.

I recently had a fantastic experience with John, a skilled stylist, and easy to talk to. My blonde highlights were expertly done, adding a vibrant touch to my hair. The trim haircut was precise and the perfect amount. My mom also had her hair done by Beatrice and her hair looks amazing.
